Mikasa Asian Bistro & Sushi
2610 S Tracy Blvd #110, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
Perhaps one of my favorite Asian restaurants. The ladies who tend the bar are great fun and thr rest of the staff are great as well. The sauces they use for their general udon are amazing. They offer green tea very cheap, brewed how it should be done (without tea bags) which was also pleasantly surprising. This restaurant does things right, even the small things.Very clean as well.

White Peony Restaurant

Ive been to many Chinese restaurants and this is by far the WORST. We ordered hot and sour soup, lemon chicken, Mongolian beef, and apparently rice as well. Once we were finished our order the waiter asked if we wanted rice, I said yes and he asked what kind and I replied that I wanted fried and he rudely asked okay, what kind!!? Without me knowing that there were even different kinds of rice since he snatched our menus before I had the chance to even see. We got our bill and saw that he charged us $8 for rice! Never in my life have I ever ordered a plate at a Chinese restaurant that didnt come with at least rice, veggies, and most of the time a side of soup. If I had known that he was charging us for a side of rice I wouldnt have ordered it. Thats not even the worst part. We first had our hot and sour soup that I couldnt even finish after one taste because it was so oily and not even hot at all, it was just disgustingly sour (and I order hot and sour soup a lot). Fried rice came out next and the chicken was ghost white and completely unseasoned, rice had no seasoning as well. Next came the Mongolian beef and it was the only food that had any flavor but was the same quality of a panda express Mongolian beef, and the panda express one is actually spicy. Last came my lemon chicken. I have never eaten worse chicken in my life. The chicken was again unseasoned, the lemon sauce had no flavor, and on top of that, the batter was RAW. As I took a bite, all the fried batter pieces began to fall off and the inside was raw and gooey batter. On TOP of that, the chicken was hard and burned on the edges even though the rest was raw?? I paid $40, and I absolutely hate giving bad reviews, but this was so horribly unacceptable. Waiter was annoyed whenever we said thank you and would speak so fast and mumble and when we asked to repeat what he said, he would get angry. At the end we asked for go-to boxes (maybe my boyfriends parents would eat it) and he took our food to the back and completely smushed my lemon chicken until all the fried batter was off and it was goo. I dont even know HOW you can make Chinese food this bad. You actually have to try to be horrible at this point.

Matsuyama Restaurant (Matsumoto Sushi)
835 S Tracy Blvd, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
This place is good. We went on a Sunday afternoon and expected it to be over crowded and it wasnt at all. We walked in and waited to be seated, there was only one waitress. We were seated across the sushi area which was a nice secluded area. Once we ordered the food came rolling out fast! I ordered the chicken Katsu bento box with extra California rolls and my wife ordered 2 Kapa maki rolls and the California special (deep fried). Our meals came with salad which was very well plated and miso soup. The waitress had some issues with another customers food so once that happened it kind of took forever for us to get service or the check which was towards the end of our meal which is why I took 1 star away due to one waiter, she was fine but I thought she could use an extra hand. They serve saki and other beers and beverages as well. If your looking for some good sushi in Tracy come here. Food is average priced for Japanese

Very poor customer service !This is the fourth time this last two months the food or service has been horrible! It use to be great. I have been coming here sense they opened at lease once or twice week. This time I ordered a two item plate, white rice half chow main, orange chicken and black pepper chicken. .There was only me one customer in front one in back of me so slow. When she asked me what I want she wrote it down then started to give me the wrong food thats fine I reminded her what it wasI wanted.I asked her if I could have the fresh chow main that was coming out she said yes it would be six mins I said fine as there was just about a cup full of dryed out left in the bowl. The customer behind me also chose to wait for the new chow main. I waited for about three mins not bad yea.I payed for the food sat out side to eat it.I open the food the rice and chicken tased fine. The chow man was dryed out and cold. She gave me the old one even thought the new one was in the glass container.and cooked.I went back in asked if she could please change the chow main out the rest was fine. She started to do it then I think it was the manager said no we have to throw the plate out and give you a new one and you need to pay the difference . I re explain what I wanted . To throw out the food was a waste of food and was not needed it was fine except for the noodles.. I just want to have a small thing of fresh noodles as these are old and cold the rest was fine she refused to do this.I went outside took the noodles of my plate and ate the rest what a waste.I am so upset not only did I wait and pay for fresh noodles I ate my plate with none.I love Panda Express. But who ever has been running it for the past 11 months or so its not the same. The food use to be great and every one was friendly and great customer service. Not anymore! The place has changed its not food they dont care about the customer anymore. I watch how they treat other customers as well it's awful. Its ashame it Just horrible!!!!

LH Kitchen

This place gets a 3 star for now. I ordered the pick your own pho special. The broth came out a bit more oilier than I'd like and tasted pretty heavy to me, so I was only able to finish half a regular size. ?‍?Usually I don't order boba from pho places because that's not their specialty but I decided to take a chance. However, my Thai milk tea came out a bit sweeter than I had liked and there was no option to adjust the sugar level. The boba was hard to chew, it felt like they were leftovers from earlier in the day or undercooked because the center was hard and not jelly.Overall I was a bit disappointed but I'll have to come back to try and order something else on the menu. Based on some of the reviews, it seemed like they at least got the rice plates right.

Bahay Kubo Store

This place and the vibe is very much home ! How they act is exactly how it is back home In Philippines! Very clean ! Everything lable, good honesty in products knowledge! FYI they don't have fresh fruits and viggies ! However they have can goods, condiments, dry goods, frozen fish, ice cream, frozen meats and also they do small hot bites . I been to a lot of places . I would say the prices here are pretty fair compare to some places . These people are very family friendly! Out side they have a spot to sit and eat if you like knowing how small it is they use the space very well with out looking so cluttered! For hot food I recommend order a head of time because it's takes around 20 mins or so !

Chapter 2
88 W 10th St, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
I wasnt even aware that Chapter 2 existed until a friend recommended we check it out. So GLAD we did. We had, by far, the best meal weve had in Tracy in ages.Whenever we try out a new place, we generally order more than we need so we can sample the menu. Every single thing we had was excellent.Appetizers:Fried Pickle Chips: The best fried pickles weve ever had. Lightly coated, fried to perfection, and the pickles had a robust dill flavor. Served with sauces, both of which were a good complement. 5/5.Corn fritters with spicy aioli and hot honey Good size, fried nicely, nice flavor. A tad dry in the middle but they tasted great with the sauces and the pepperjack cheese sauce of the next dish we tried. 4/5.Southwest Crispy Waffle Fries, with Pepperjack Cheese Sauce, Tomato, Jalapeno, and Avocado. Simply divine. A perfect dish to start the meal. Technically, we were debating on ordering this, but the hostess threw them in for free since she overheard us talking about them. 5/5.Entrees:2 of us ordered their special of the week: German Brauts with Sauerkraut in a beef broth. The sausage was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The kraut was delicious! This was a wonderful dish. I hope they bring it back again! 5/5The New York steak with chunky red mashed potatoes was delicious! And, kudos to the chef for cooking it to rare perfection. A wonderful menu item. Simply delicious. 5/5The Kentucky Burger had caramelized onions, blue cheese, bacon and a jam whisky served with more waffle cut fries. The burger was awesome, cooked perfectly and the flavors paired perfectly for the palate.5/5All servings were very large and we ate way too much since the food was so delicious! Next time, well likely order less appetizers since the entrees were so generous and delicious. We also tried two desserts: a special bread pudding with caramel sauce and French beignets served with a chocolate sauce. Both were divine and were 5/5.Honestly, our dinner at Chapter 2 on Saturday was one of the best meals weve had in the past year, including those weve had in international locations. This coupled with a fun hostess and amazing staff make this a must-visit restaurant in the Central Valley and Bay Area. I should also point out that the menu on Saturday was labeled temporary due to staff shortages so kudos to the team there for pulling together and making and serving wonderful, tasty food.Oh, they also have a full bar too and their dark latte beer was amazing too. Sadly, we didnt think to take pictures before we started eating!Right now Chapter 2 is only open Wed thru Saturday for dinner. They first opened during the first lockdown so their journey to keep afloat has been arduous to say the least. So glad they are open again. Highly, highly recommended.

The Sandwich Spot Tracy- Gunther Home Made Ice ...
245 E 11th St, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
Had an amazing experience here today. I would love to give 5 stars but allow me to explain my reasoning for 4.Food: overall my sandwich is delicious! I got the Altamont with no onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Sadly my sandwich did end up coming with peppers, which is no big deal at all I'm just a super picky person. I got a delicious strawberry smoothie as well!Customer service: 100% the best customer service I've ever seen. It felt nice to be treated like a person and not like an inconvenience like at other places would. The shop owner does an amazing job!Environment: This is where it gets a little 50/50 I got a combo for my first time here because why not go out? I went pick out a drink from the fridge and all of them where past their dates which isn't a big deal but to me if makes me not want to drink it. However I know right now in the economy it's super hard to land good vendors who price adequately so I'm not worried about it too much.Overall my experience was great, great enough for me to leave a review which I hardly ever do. Thank you sandwich spot!
