Capital Seafood Restaurant
333 E Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91006, United States
First time trying this place as I was hoping it was seafood dim sum. It doesnt seem to be. They have an extensive menu with many traditional Chinese beef, pork, and chicken dishes as well as a plethora of seafood options. We saw king crab at Market price and were excited until we learned that they only sell the whole crab, its $72/lb and its 10 lbs. We were 2 for dinner and only one of us really loves crab so a $720 meat course seemed a bit extravagant. Opted for the Lobster at 3.5 lbs and $29/lb it seemed like a bargain. It was well cooked and nicely presented though the ginger preparation was a bit heavy and such a large Lobster has a tendency to have rather tougher meat in parts. Perhaps the house preparation would have been better or maybe I should have opted for scallops which I prefer to Lobster in any case. This is a very traditional Chinese restaurant with chandeliers and white tablecloths in a decidedly banquet hall style.Service was fine and I got a bit of a chuckle out of the waiter telling me we couldnt order the king crab as it was too much for two people. I wonder if they serve smaller portions when the restaurant is busy and more people order crab. Maybe then they can kill the beast and split it by pound to several tables... We might have to return with an army of crab lovers or on a busy night. Or just go across the street to Red Lobster. Ha!String beans were tasty as were the egg rolls.

Good old TAIWANESE + Northern Chinese restaurant. Better than Fusion cafe next door I would say :/
Garden Caf - Arcadia

My all time fav dish is seafood fried rice with smelt roe. And house special beef noodle will make you feel alive again. Prices are all the same with other Chinese restaurants. Not cheap but not too pricey.
Qin West Noodle
400 S Baldwin Ave Suite 2310, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
Straight up insanity.HUGE PASS .NEVER AGAIN. Between the high tax in arcadia ( even orange county dont charge that much for nicer area ?. ) The shady 2.3 percent mystery fee added . It comes up to 19$+ for ONE bowl of noodle . Absolutely not worth the money . The flavor was meh barely any meat .lack flavor .its mainly sauce . The bread was also very blend . Super disappointed . The shop itself is very small and crowded there is some sitting outside . Not the best place to eat in arcadia . Not a bang for your buck either ... there are way better and more tasty mom and pop chinese restaurents cooking marvelous fresh noodle for a lot cheapper and without shady fees. Go elsewhere . This one isnt worth all the hype.
Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant
400 S Baldwin Ave #2045, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
This is the worst Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles area, not only for the outrageous price, but also the poor quality of foods. We have been eating out a lot, especially Chinese food. The foods taste so so, but the prices are unreasonable. A plate of bean sprouts costs $16, and very small amount. A plate of fish costs almost $60, which you can have for less than $30 in another fine Chinese restaurants. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall where the rent is definitely higher. But even with the high maintenance costs, this place is just not worth it. Avoid it if you can.
Auntie Qiu Kitchen

It tastes like that and the service is awesome. Xiaohongshu tricked her into it. If it wasnt for her, the Chinese restaurant would have lifted the tables for her. That waitress would be beaten to death in China, which is simply a shame for the Chinese.
Chengdu Impression
21 E Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91006, United States
Authentic Chinese Restaurant with a Great Atmosphere. From the humble exterior, I didnt expect it to be a well furnished space inside. It seems like Im entering a historical Chinese building. There are several areas that you can seat. There are private rooms for dinners with special guests.I was surprised by the brochure that gives a historical glimpse of Chengdu. This is a great cultural touch. The food is great. The price is a bit on the high side. I ordered tea and they provided a very high quality tea thats meant to be enjoyed slowly. Service was a bit slow on the day we went, but it isnt something to complain about,
JJ Bakery
1130 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
JJ Bakery is a legit and yummy Taiwanese establishment.I was extremely happy to see that they are back in production on one of my favorite pastries - WIFE CAKE. This is a Taiwanese specialty and not many Chinese bakeries make well.Another favorite pastry is this round Chiffon Cake with Phyllo Dough + whip cream in the middle. Extremely tasty and moist.None of their items are too sweet - perfect for the Asian palette. Located conveniently in a plaza with ample parking and surrounding yummy restaurants like Din Tai Fung across the way, JJ Bakery is top notch and a place worth checking out!
Full House Seafood Restaurant

We were there yesterday for dine in. The service is bad. We waited for 50 minutes for nothing. We were at the table waiting for our food to be served. Waiters just ignore you. The manager runs this restaurant terribly. She doesnt apologize and listen to the customer all she says is that theyre busy. The manager and waiters of this restaurant are very ineffecient. I went to the cashier to place our order since no waiter approach us even were trying to call them. It was the female manager whos taking orders. She place our orders as to go orders even I told her that its for dine in. It passed 50 min. and our food wasnt served yet and I saw a group of family next to us and behind us that just got there 20 min. after us their food is being served. I went to the cashier and waited for another 10 min. they said the food is coming I ask the male asst. manager that weve been sitting there for a long time waiting for our food. He promise that our food is coming soon. Passed 12minutes our food is not served yet I went back to the cashier and talk to the female manager and complained that howcome the family next to us and behind us are already eating. We got there ahead of them and our food is not ready yet. The female manager and male assistant manager talk on their language without saying any apologies. They just said that its coming and theyll bring it on our table. I didnt understand what theyre talking about. The assistant male manager went to our table and insisted that our order is for to go so its all in a to go box. We were so mad and aggravated. We told the male assistant manager we are there for dine in not for to go. We told MALE ASSISTANT MANAGER we will just cancel everything WE ARE NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THEIR BAD SERVICE and he has the guts to be arrogant WITHOUT SAYING ANY APOLOGIES and have the guts to say we have to pay for the tea and two appetizers that was served. WE PAID $25 for UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE. VERY ARROGANT MANAGER AND ASSISTANT MANAGER/WAITER! You will waste your money here. The female manager, assistant male manager, their waiters, communication, service and the waiting time here is horrible! No apologies said except we the female and male manager kept saying we are really busy! The way they treat customer here is very unacceptable! They dont know good customer service! BAD SERVICE AND TERRIBLE HOW THEY MANAGE THIS RESTAURANT!
Dumpling House

I took my girl for dinner and we both were very disappointed, specially for a Chinese restaurant in this area. Food is bland. Im not Asian as anyone can check the name but we know a great taste, and we couldnt find it here, we had the shredded pork with tofu skin, tofu skin was like chewing plastic, we had a beef soup which tasted as if we were at a Pho restaurant, and we had pan fried pork dumplings, they were ok, not recommend this place. However feel free to find out if the place eventually delivers better taste, good luck
