Chowking

How many times have I bought siomai the frozen 20 pcs. When it came home, was there no chili paste?Yesterday, June 01, 2021, I ordered an order of 4 pcs of cooked siomai and an order of 20 pcs of frozen. When I got home, I only put 1 chili paste.I didnt complain because I thought the cashier might give it to me. In the same case, nothing was given. I dont want to go back just for the chili paste. I just hope its complete when its served.I love chowking. But anyway, I hope its a complete serving for the name of our job. It would be better if there were no negative comments.24 pcs of siomai, thats all the chili paste.

This is a buffet, fast food. Food taste, quantity and the price is typical of the Chinese restaurant. Prepare to pay in cash... credit card is not accepted.
Panda Express

Panda Express has really good Chinese food for fast food... Ive gone to many of the other Chinese food restaurants in Torrance and havent found one that I enjoy as much as Panda Express. The orange chicken is the go-to for me and I also enjoy the Bejing Beef

The food is good but it is very expensive for Chinese food, I would not spend it again, I prefer a good restaurant and I would spend the same

When I called before I came down to get the food I asked how much a two-item combo is? She replied its by the pound. Which confuses me because Im not sure how much weight a regular to item is. Not a smart business decision. Anyways, after I got done trying to fill up a light 2 item combo it was almost six and a half dollars. I totally felt I was overcharged because the quality of the food versus the price and the quantity. The lady that worked the front was really nice but again the pricing and quality too big thumbs down. Ill never eat there again. If you got to decode your food bye mentally visualizing a pound in your head the price of your food, its a scam. The food was below Panda Express as quality which isnt saying much. Ive noticed that most of the food around here is overpriced and low-quality. If you go to the beach in Hermosa Redondo Manhattan youll get more food for the price and a larger quantity. Im still surprised they charge so much when were in the middle of the ghetto. Sad.
P.F. Changs

Encountered a new ‘test’ menu here at the del amo P.F. Chang’s. No family style offerings available at all. Not what is expected from a Chinese restaurant as family and sharing are features of every Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. Very very disappointing experience.
Thai Cuisine Restaurant

Not a good sign of any establishment when the soap in the restroom is diluted with water to make it last longer. After placing my order I was given a higher total than advertised on the takeout menu. When I asked about the price difference I was told the menu prices had been updated but they were still giving out the old menu.Props for not being wasteful but maybe write a sign saying that to avoid confusion.Example: lunch noodle special advertised at 11.50. Actual price 14.00Last but not least. I was disappointed in the amount of meat in the dish. I ordered the chicken drunken noodles and there couldn't have been any more than 4oz of chicken. I counted 5 or 6 bites with a thin slice of chicken on it. The flavor was good and the ingredients tasted fresh. Not too oily and medium spice was just right.Complimentary Rangoon had cold filling and the side salad could have used a dressing.I wouldn't come here again unless I was vegetarian and didn't care for meat in a dish.

This place is definitely my go to spot when I want Chinese food. They changed management and renovated their restaurant since Fall 2016. After all the renovation, this place feels a lot cleaner now with new chairs and tables; such a welcoming ambiance. Not to mention, all the servers are very friendly and attentive. Parking is fairly easy. They have their own private lot, so thats good. I hate having to find parking when its shared with other businesses. Drinks: I remember seeing a big cooler with beer, wine, sodas, Thai iced tea, and lemon iced tea. Food: Great food, large portion, affordable prices, and contains no MSG. When I dined in for lunch, they asked if I wanted Iced or Hot water and then they gave me complimentary Soup (Egg Flower Soup or Hot and Sour Soup) and Salad with house dressing (sesame dressing) on it. Their lunch menu is the best part about this place because it is so affordable with Entrees starting from $6.50 to $8.49 and all lunch specials are served from the time they open at 11AM to 4PM. My absolute favorite dishes from the lunch menu are Green String Beans, Orange Chicken (hands down the BEST Orange Chicken Ive ever had with lots of meat and no battered nonsense), and Crispy Pan Fried Beef Noodles! No need to order any fried rice since my meal came with a side of rice or fried rice. What a satisfying lunch! It does get a little loud because its always packed but that doesnt bother me because honestly its part of the experience eating at an authentic Chinese Restaurant!
