I dont like to write bad reviews but in this case customer service was awful. 1 start for only taking my order. I place a soup order to go. I took it to work for my lunch. I open the container, as I was eating i found a bug after another one. I was placing them in a napkins to show them I found those bugs in there. I continue eating more thinking I wont find more, unfortunate I did. I was gross out and lost my appetite. So i toss the container and took the napking with me after work. I show them my concern and wanted a refund so I can eat somewhere else. The lady told me its summer season, our containers are clean, we wash are veggies, let me talk to my manager. Among so many explanation and excuses she ask me for the container. I told her I place them in a napkin and throw the container with food. She told me all restaurants do that, they ask for the food. I told her no, this was an order to go I was busy at work to go after I saw the bugs. Anyhow I ask for a refund and she refuse to do so. I was so upset she didnt took care of this matter correctly. So thats why Im writing this. Never eating there again. So if u find bugs is because is summer season, enjoy!

Dragon Express Pho Vietnam Express

Great combination of a Chinese and Vietnamese Cuisine. All with the always friendly service of the owners. The flavor is on point in both cuisines. I recommend the Hot and Sour soup and shrimp fried rice. And from the Vietnamese side the Pho is one of the best I have tried. They also have a hot ready to pick up food at front which it makes if convenience to take some home quick and hot. This is one of the restaurants that due to the location you would not expect to be this good. But pay them a visit and youll b surprised on the flavors and attentive service. Their soup reminded me of a restaurant in San Francisco China Town.
Otay Mandarin Chinese Restaurant

This place has been my #1 Chinese place for about 20 years and food has been decent compare to places in Chula Vista. I do have something to complain about though, and its been their process of picking up food. They make everyone wait in line no matter if you called in ahead of time or you simply placing an order there at the restaurant. On New Years Eve i called at 11am for a $170 order to be picked up at 7pm. I got there at 7pm and there was a line of about 10 people which took 30 minutes to get to the counter and pick up my food. Our food had been waiting on a table probably before 7pm. By the time we got home our food was barely warm. Picking up shouldnt take 30min. They really need to figure out there pick ups, maybe call the names out for the orders that are ready instead of making everyone wait in a long line It aint fair to wait all that time while your food sits there getting cold. PLEASE FIX IT!! I dont want you guys to lose my business as youre one of our favorite places to eat Chinese food. Oh yeah, this has happened on regular days too, not just on holidays. Call out names of orders that are ready??. Also your phone line is always busy, hard to get a hold of you. Avg time for someone to answer is like 15min. Also, your prices went up which i understand w everything going on, but come on dont try to charge for chilli oil or wonton chips. They should be free as they were when your dining was open. Makes logic.
Arizona Chinese Restaurant

Okay prices, okay service, okay flavor. Nothing great about it. We were still enjoying our meal and had just ordered a couple more drinks when they brought the check so that felt a little rude like trying to rush us to get out of there. Im not returning because there was nothing memorable nor exceptional about it. There are better Chinese food restaurants in Chula Vista. Also I think the pork was not cooked on the same day, it was a little stiff on the edges and brown, it tasted old.

I’ve grown up in Chula Vista and this has always been a go to Chicken spot for my family and myself. Crunchy, savory, and great kick of spices for your taste buds. After 11 years away the chicken has not changed and I am overjoyed that it’s flavor is still around. The fried rice is a perfect compliment to the chicken. The egg drop soup is so hot and soothing going down, not salty like other Chinese restaurants. The touch of corn adds an extra depth of flavor. There free appetizer chips with sweet sauce just tickles the taste buds and prepares you for the entree if you don’t get full off of it first.
P.F. Changs

We felt safe dining here during covid times. Everyone I could see wore masks properly, we were space appropriately, they asked us to wear masks every time we leave the table, there was hand sanitizer for people to use, and they had QR code to pull up their menu digitally on their printed drink menu which appears to be single use. They told us their menu has been slimmed down because of the pandemic because ingredients are harder to source. So no walnut shrimp, but hopefully theyll make a return one day. They set up a tent in the parking lot to allow for more safe seating since their outdoor patio area can only hold so much. Our server Eric provided great, attentive, and friendly service. The food here is just okay and thats being kind. I didnt realize that the rice in the California rolls my BF ordered was uncooked until I ate the leftovers that I took home. The chicken lettuce wrap was greasy and salty. I wish the sauce provided some sweet and acidity but it was just more saltiness and pointless to use. The banana spring rolls we had for dessert were amazing and a must. I live in Orange County so Ive never felt the need to go to a PF Changs before since I have access to way better Chinese and Vietnamese food. You pay for ambience at this chain restaurant since the food isnt any better than the Chinese food you get a Panda Express, but since we sat in a parking lot that wasnt really there.

Great taste for a quick bite. Not a true sit down Chinese restaurant. The entrees are made of high quality products with excellent seasoning. Never disappoints this eater.

Not too long of a wait in line. Wanted to try the new steak and shrimp dish. The steaks were not strips but small chunks. The steak tasted ok but somehow they must have forgotten that the dish included shrimp. We also ordered orange chicken all 6 pieces. Overall not thrilled with the portions for $8.30. Ill go back to a real Chinese restaurant.
