I have had the pleasure of visiting Del Mar Rendezvous/Morning Muse and my experience has been enriching in several ways. The location is idyllic, located in picturesque Del Mar, close to the sea and surrounded by a serene atmosphere. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, creating a perfect space to enjoy a quiet meal or an invigorating brunch.The decoration is elegant and contemporary, creating a harmonious balance between modern and traditional. The use of colors and design elements complements the culinary experience. Speaking of flavors, the modern Chinese cuisine at Del Mar Rendezvous is certainly a highlight. Dishes like Sweet and Sour Kung Pao Chicken and Sweet and Sour Shrimp Noodles offer an explosion of bold, balanced flavors that delight the senses.Although I had an overall positive experience, it is worth mentioning that some dishes could have been a little better in terms of execution and presentation. However, this small detail does not overshadow the overall pleasure that the restaurant offers.In short, Del Mar Rendezvous/Morning Muse is a lovely place to taste modern Chinese cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere. Its location, ambiance, decor and notable flavors contribute to a memorable experience. Although the food could be slightly improved in some aspects, my final rating is a solid 4/5. Without a doubt, it is a destination that I would recommend to those looking for a unique culinary experience in Del Mar.

Favorite place for quick chinese food. My girlfriend and I didnt feel like ordering in from some of the pricey chinese restaurants around the area, so we came here since its right down the street from us. $20 got us way more food than we could eat ?. Fantastic prices and great tasting too.

Food tastes great, but a little too expensive, thats why its 4 stars not 5.I can understand charging premium for the more specialized dishes, but it seems like their whole menus price is 1-2 dollars higher than other Chinese restaurants in Goleta. Perhaps its because of the inflation?

So disappointed in Chins Szechuan. Chins Del Mar occupies the location of Double Happiness, a longtime local icon of American Chinese cuisine. When Double Happiness sold to Chef Zhu a few years back, the American Chinese menu was augmented with some more exotic and traditional Shanghai cuisine. It was truly delicious! It was heaven... but heaven fell victim to covid 19.When Chins opened, we had hopes for at least a passable local Chinese alternative. Weve tried twice. Both times the food was tasteless, poorly prepared, and without character. The first time, I blamed it on teething issues at a newly opened restaurant. The second time, I just discarded my entree.Ive lived in Del Mar fort many years. Its so sad to see a restaurant fall from delicious to discardable. Ill not go back.?

California Hip Hop artist SpenDoe is back with another food review! My favorite Chinese restaurant, ever! I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. This place hasnt changed one bit, and I love it. The chicken fried rice, ginger beef, and sweet & sour chicken are my favorites. The atmosphere is cozy, and they have outdoor seating. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, all orders are for take-out only at this time. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always fresh, and amazing. Support your local businesses!

TLDR: Youre getting married in a Chinese restaurant and you need it transformed into something spectacular! Spotlight Groove Productions is your answer. They specialize in this and are able to make your dreams come true. We transformed 888 Restaurant (one of the OG restaurants in sgv/626) into a venue my relatives didnt even recognize!EXCEPTIONAL. PHENOMENAL. EXTRAORDINARY. These are the top adjectives that come to mind when I think about Jonsen and his team at Spotlight Grove Productions. I reached out to >5 companies and ultimately chose Spotlight Grove because of their professionalism, experience, and customer service. Jonsen is easy to work with and provides quick and efficient solutions to ensure our vision came to life. He is very quick to reply to emails and texts, and if there is something he is unable to do, he will quickly recommend another vendor to help.The services that we used were lighting, draping, dance floor, and photobooth. In the middle of planning, we realized we wanted a larger dance floor, which was no problem for Jonsen to get completed. The wedding planning process is so stressful, so to have a vendor that is easily able to execute your visions (even when they change) is so important. He didnt ask any questions and simply said, yes we can make that work. Those are the MAGIC words every bride loves to hear!!Photobooth - It was important for us to have a DSLR camera for our photobooth. We did not want an iPad taking pictures. Thankfully Jonsen uses a camera for his pictures and was able to give us digital copies of the photobooth pictures and all of the individual pics (without template). He also gave us creative freedom to design our own photobooth template. We loved the ones he had, but ultimately wanted something minimal with out logo. The outcome was fantastic. He is truly the BEST IN THE INDUSTRY. I will continue to recommend Jonsen over and over. If he had more services, we would have definitely used them as well! Overall, 11/10.

Restaurant in a garden center? It works well! (We shouldnt call Rogers Gardens a garden center.) Great food. Chinese chicken salad is very good. The sliced kumquats add a perfect flavor. Hamburger was perfect. Drinks were great. We wish they had a charcuterie board on the menue for lunch. Starts at 2pm.

This isnt your typical Vietnamese restaurant, but more like a viet/chinese hybrid. Dont expect a pho/bahn mi type of experience.Expect a very good cornish game hen, grilled pork dishes, curries, and several lemongrass flavored entrees. The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is nicer than many other places around (quieter).I recommend that you go there soon. The owners are old, and there seems to be some pressure from the new owners of the strip mall to renegotiate a new lease, so enjoy it while it lasts.
