First time visiting Sushi Fire. Enjoyed my visit with family. Ordered 6 different sushi rolls and a bento box. Failed to take a picture lol but trust they were all good. Ordered the Dynamite roll as an app - delicious! Ordered an Echigo beer, since it was the first time I noticed this beer at a Japanese restaurant. Wow was it worth the price! The staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Thank you!Overall, had a really good experience at this restaurant. Ill be back.

Reliable Honest Mechanic
900 W Duarte Rd, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
The name says it. The owner is Honest and Reliable, thus they are swamped all the time. I had to go to other mechanics even though Reliable is only 5 mins from my house. If you manage to get your car in, the owner will make an honest assessment, but one can only know so much about cars, I think hes good with Japanese imports, European imports you may have to find mechanics that specialized in these, which you should anyway. There are boba places and chinese restaurants and super market within walking distance while you wait for your car.
Heemo Sushi
1221 E Huntington Dr, Duarte, CA 91010, United States
I found this place on Google so my husband and I decided to try it on one of our I-dont-want-to-cook-dinner nights and weve decided that this will now be our go-to sushi/Japanese restaurant. Service was amazing, food was even more amazing but what the cherry on topping really was is the kids menu. We will definitely be back.

Grocery Outlet
1322 Huntington Dr, Duarte, CA 91010, United States
I like every Grocery Outlet I have been to. This one is fairly new. Yes there are some items that are not available; but remember this is an outlet type store. Here are some examples of what I found today: Dole Bananas were .39 a pound, Yoplait yogurt was 2 for a dollar, Macadamia nut Betty Crocker 14 oz. cookie mix .79 each, Gallon 2% milk 2.49. There were more bargains. The retail prices displayed for comparison purposes seemed to be very high remember this when making your comparisons. The store is definitely worth at least a once a month visit. The store was clean and organized and when I asked for help on certain items store personnel were very helpful and knew where stuff was.Well I came back to this store about a year later. Dole Bananas are now .49 a pound about the same as at other stores. I have had two dealings with rude help so I have downgraded the rating from 5 to 3. I was talking to a worker and the manager came up and interrupted the conversation. No excuse me or pardon me. The store was not busy and I was asking a store related question. Another time, again the store was not busy I was rushed through the checkout line and because I was rushed I left items at the checkout. The check had stuff piled in the checkout area so I didnt notice my items because I was being rushed and because of all the other stuff in the checkout area. Will not be back.
SinBala
651 W Duarte Rd f, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
With its understated atmosphere and compact tables, this gem invites diners on a culinary journey through Taiwan, delivering an authentic experience from start to finish. When we walked into La Sin Bala, the cozy environment immediately caught our eye. With limited seating and neatly arranged tables, our anticipation was at its peak as we perused the menu, eager to sample a selection of Taiwanese delicacies. Our culinary exploration begins with the typical rice, elegantly presented in the style of a traditional Taiwanese bento. Every bite of tender and juicy pork paired with fragrant rice made us feel like we were in a buffet restaurant in Taipei.Next we had the oyster omelette, a dish that really stole the show. Egg rolls are full of Taiwans unique flavor, a famous night market snack, harmoniously blending plump oysters with delicious eggs and indispensable vegetables, a perfect match with aromatic spices. Super authentic! A must order meal that left us wanting more with every bite.We also indulged in chicken rolls accompanied by dipping sauce and a serving of shiitake mushroom and chicken soup, both delivering simple yet gratifying flavors. These simple yet satisfying dishes are the perfect end to our culinary journey, leaving us feeling nourished and satisfied.Of note, the highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the oyster omelette, a dish that encapsulates the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. Its authentic flavors and affordable prices highlight La Sin Bala, making it one of the must-go places for food lovers looking for a taste of Taiwan.
