Weve eaten suchi for years, the NEW Sanyo Suchi is definitely our FAVORITE by far, believe me, weve tried them all.The old Sayno Suchi was good and the owners were sweet, until the one of their chefs was rude,and didnt return until the new owners of Sayno Suchi took over aprox.ten months ago.We walked in, the owners and the entire staff, were friendly and very inviting, it felt like home already.The suchi and food is outstanding, their customer service is unbelievable, and they have a great happy hour, $2.50 beers, what a treat.We go there atleast twice a week, enjoying all that they have to offer, including their amazing staff.Everytime we bring family and friends, they absolutely love it, and want to come back.A must try ???

Overpriced for what you get, and the ramen is not great. The noodles were undercooked, and the broth was so-so. On a side note, I like to add a little spice to my ramen which didnt appear to be an option here.I love ramen, one of my favorite dishes that I have been eating since I took a 2yr job in Japan. And there are some great, and authentic ramen places in the LA and surrounding areas. One of my local favorites is in Azusa, one city over from this place. Well worth the short drive for me, better quality, bigger portion, not as pricey.With soo many great Ramen choices in the area, this place really needs to ramp it up. Worth a try, because ramen is great - but then go try another place and youll notice a difference.I also love takoyaki, so I ordered it. Too much breading, really small pieces of octopus which were very rubbery. More so than normal.

I would like to preface that I used to love this restaurant. It was my favorite sushi restaurant in the area and I was pretty loyal to it. Mind you, there are a ton of sushi restaurants in the area. That being said, I had the worst experience at the restaurant, and everyones reaction at the restaurant made me never want to come back.We had a fairly decent meal and we were just finishing up. Alex was our server at the time, and just as we finished our meal and were finishing up our wine, he walked over to us and asked us to leave. Apparently they had a reservation and needed the table, even though he sat us at the table to begin with and the party wasnt there. He didnt ask us if we could move, rather, he said I hate to ask you to leave, but. His tone was incredibly rude, and I was immediately off put. Everyone was listening to him, and we felt like we were rushed, which was very embarrassing. He didnt apologize, and we left. One member from our party went back to discuss, and both Alex and another server started arguing.The situation was made worse moments later. We got home, and called the restaurant asking to speak to a manager (his name was James). The manager immediately said now that Ive heard both sides of the story and proceeded to brush us off. He said he would talk to him, but his tone was very accusatory.To reiterate, we had been going to this restaurant since it first opened. However, if they wish to treat their customers like this, I would say avoid this restaurant at all costs. The sushi is expensive and alright, but nothing die over. There are far better sushi restaurants in the area with far better service and mangers.Furthermore, although this incident happened, the staff did not reach out at all the help correct the situation. In fact, they went online and challenged us and said that everything we said was false. Just to be clear, we did not just have one sip of wine to finish. And even if we did, it was incredibly rude to ask us to move.Again, stay away from this restaurant at all costs. It is overpriced with some of the worst service in the area.

The caahier was very rude !The tables were very sticky!The food was horrible!We eat at a lot of great sushi restaurants snd I have to say this is the worst in quality and taste by far!If I could rate with 0 stars I would!Do not waste your time eating at this sushi umi location!What a dissappointment for our family and especialy our kids!We wondered why there were no other costumers in the establishment!Well now we kbow, besides horrible service, tte food was burnt and the sushi seemed old or stored at wrong temperature and smelled horrible!Waste of time and pure dissappointment!

Although weve lived in West Covina for over 20 years, for some reason weve never been to this Japanese restaurant. So for a pre-Mothers Day dinner, my husband and I decided to try Sakura.OMG! Food was amazing! Service was incredible and I got a chance to talk to a young lady who worked there who was from Japan. She was so helpful and so friendly.I ordered a chicken teriyaki and sashimi plate which was really delicious! Fish was very fresh and serving portions were huge. I ended up taking lots of it home. My husband ordered a stir-fry chicken dish which was huge as well. Loved all the fresh ingredients in his dish as well. We ended up taking a lot of his home as well.I can see why this restaurant has stood the test of time. They have all the right ingredients down pat to operate a great eating establishment: good food, good service, friendly people, large portions, and beautiful relaxed ambiance.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hibachi Grill Buffet for the first time during my aunts birthday celebration, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The variety of dishes available was impressive, catering to every palate in our group. From fresh sushi rolls to crispy spring rolls, each dish was more delicious than the last.The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Mongolian BBQ. The ability to customize your dish with a variety of fresh ingredients and then watch it being expertly grilled right before your eyes added a personalized and entertaining touch to our meal. It was not only fun but also ensured that every bite was exactly to our liking.Our server was exceptionally attentive, refreshing our drinks efficiently and always ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Its rare to find such proactive and thoughtful service.Overall, Hibachi Grill Buffet provided a fantastic dining experience that made my aunts birthday even more special. So I went to my favorite Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Glendora (Szechuwan Garden, 1932 E.Rte 66) and I saw a newly opened close-out discount mattress store. I decided to just look and see what they have, but theyre deals are so good I ended up buying my own Memory foam mattress with adjustable bed base. I got it for 999$MATTRESS AND ADJUSTABLE BED BASE! Their service was top notch and not pushy at all! 5 star service! ??
