Sushi Komachi
307 S Lower Sacramento Rd Suite D, Lodi, CA 95242, United States
Hands down the best service Ive had at any restaurant. We only waited a few minutes for a table inside (they have tables outside also). They regularly asked if we needed anything else, if we liked the food, refilled our water glasses, and cleared away plates as we finished our food. The food was good and the restaurant was welcoming and clean. I recommend this place if youre ever in Lodi (or Central Valley in general) looking for a Japanese restaurant

Me and the beautiful lady went out for the first time in awhile since all this horrible shutdowns happened and let me just say this... Being in this restaurant was amazing! This place made our date feel like this pandemic has never existed and we felt like life was completely normal with the other 25% of people dinning inside lol. Anyways, our waiter that served us was very polite, kind, and on top of giving us our drinks and food in a timely manner even though the kitchen orders were a little backed up. The atmosphere inside was perfect with just the right amount of people inside, but the low dimmed lights made it feel like a dive bar (which is awesome!) ?. But the most important thing was the food. Let me tell you.... The Lion King, The Dragon, and The Volcano sushi rolls were absolutely the best sushi rolls Ive had! No lie! Ive had my fair share of sushi places but this place had it all! Definitely is now our official sushi spot from here on out and we will both be returning very soon! Thank you guys!P.S. To The Supervisors/Managers of the business- The gentleman who served us on 11/13/20 around 730pm-830pm in the section between the windows and bar... he had piercings on top of both ears I believe... wasnt able to remember his name, but please give that man an accommodation lol. He was very nice and helpful with his customer service and sometimes thats hard to come by in some restaurants lol. Thank you guys again!

The food is always amazing. Definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant in Lodi
Oz Sushi & Grill

We used to love Oz! It was one of the first few Japanese restaurants we visited after we move to Lodi. Their teriyaki chicken was so amazing and their California rolls were fresh! Their Bento Box special was reasonably priced. We just went to Oz after not going for a while found they raised the prices a couple of bucks per menu item but the quality went downhill! Their teriyaki chicken was overcooked and smelled and tasted like dirty feet! The rice on the California roll was dry and stiff. How the mighty have fallen. We wont be back.

We have eaten at M Sushi in Lodi a few times in the past and have never had an experience like this. We arrived at the restaurant with 5 of our 7 guests, and the other 2 were picking in the birthday cake. They said they could not seat us until all people in the party arrived. So we stood for 15 minutes while people came in after us and were seated. So the 2 arrived with the birthday cake in hand, so they finally sat us and took the cake to the back. We then waited another 15 minutes to get water and a waitress, while they other people who entered before us were already eating. Finally, a waitress arrived with some water, and at this time, we were nearly 40 minutes into this ordeal with 7 glasses of water, and at this time, our order was finally taken. Our food arrived 15 minutes after ordering, which put us around 1 hour into the ordeal as we watched people who entered before us leave. Food was sub-par and tasted nothing like we have enjoyed in the past. We finished up and asked the waitress to bring out the birthday cake, and at this time, she proceeded to tell us we could light the candles, but you cant eat the cake here! Why would they not say this as they brought us into the restaurant, perhaps it was the nearly $400 meal tag they would have missed out on as we would not have stayed. The whole trip was about our sons birthday, which turned out to be a complete waste of time. No good memories made there that evening, and no new memories will be made, as we will not be returning, nor recommending, and neither will our guests. Best of luck, M!

Me and my son went there twice. Even though I wasn’t happy first time but I wanted to give another try since our favorite Japanese restaurant is closed on Sundays☹️. We were not happy with their food and service. The Waitress never smiled. Fish weren’t fresh, chicken teriyaki wasn’t good. I can make it better. Salad was a joke. But the price of food was expensive. Now I know why there weren’t many customers on both visits. We will never go back.
