Hwangs Restaurant is a pretty small Korean restuarant with an all-you-csn eat Korean BBQ option. While their BBQ memu options arent abundant, the meats they do have to offer are quite decent. The one thing that was discomforting were the awakard swivel stools they have you sit in. My butt felt like a pancake after getting up from my table.

It seems to be an authentic Korean restaurant. Below is my detailed review on different items:- Service: 3 stars. As other reviews mentioned, staffs seem very busy and it took a long time for everything. However, there is a buzz button on the table. After discovering the button, I was able to get the attention from the staffs easily. It could just be a Korean thing that they tend to leave you alone which I dont mind at all.- Galbi Tang (Short-rib beef soup): 5 stars. Love this soup. Light (compared to other Korean dishes) and refreshing. The beef flavor is perfect that I didnt need to add any seasonings.- Sundubu (Hot tofu soup): 2.5 stars. I ordered the seafood one. I was quite disappointed. The soup was obviously not enough. Seafood quality was low. Places like BCD Tofu House are way better.- Handmade Noodles: 3 stars. I didnt quite understand what would come with the noodles since its not stated on the menu. The staff asked me whether I wanted anchovy or seafood. I said seafood thinking it would be noodles in soup with seafood. It turned out that it was nothing but noodles in soup. Seafood meaning seafood seasoning. I like the texture of the noodles but it tastes just like MSG.- Brown rice: 5 stars. The staff called it brown rice but its the Korean type of mixed rice cooked with beans. It feels authentic.

Worst service for new costomers.Lowest quality meat and foods.Goos parking lot control.Overall: if you wanted to waste your $$, try eat at this restaurant. But you should keep it mind one thing. They are not a typical korean restaurant in the southern CA. Way far below average. Good luck

I bought fried chicken at this Gardena store, and it exceeded my expectations and was the best tasting Korean chicken Ive ever had. Whats different from other Korean chicken restaurants is that the chicken pieces are larger, and the owners service spirit is clear., I hope your chicken restaurant becomes a success.

One of the most delicious Korean restaurants in Gardena!!!!!The tripe hot pot and gamjatang were all very delicious, and the watercress and bean naeng I ate today were also delicious!! But the seasoning of Binnaeng was unique!The side dishes were provided neatly and I ate them neatly!

When I first saw the entrance and atmosphere of the store, I was a little skeptical.The food is a hundred times better than other crappy Korean restaurants.Someone said it was a hidden restaurant, and I agree to some extent.Ive only tried Cheonggukjang, but you can eat other things too.I thought there was.I think this is a place I can visit once in a while when I need to eat Korean food.Reference: There is a person here who has leg discomfort.Its a household matter, so dont worry about it.I felt a little sorry that you submitted it yourself.

Ive tried stir fried pork belly, spicy prok bulgogi, spicy chicken stew, spicy chicken jjim, pork kimchi stew, so far... and the best was spicy chicken stew and stir fried pork belly and others were meh... spicy chicken stew is black pepper and jalapeno hot spicy. and its pretty spicy. but the stew taste kinda varies depending on the days... and it takes pretty long time to cook anything really because they dont really have any other employees besides themselves... serving and cooking. But this restaurants only known by koreans and ran by regular customers. I would go every once in every 1-2weeks just eat their spicy chicken stew.

The best Korean soul food restaurant in the city of Gardena! The owner and staff members are friendly. The food here is addicting. My go-to restaurant for my remedies(cold or hangovers). Tried every Korean restaurants in Gardena and Yuk Dad Jang and South Bay JinMi serves the best Korean food.
