Big Bang Grill

First time here, loved the food and service. I placed an order to go and while waiting I was informed of a table off to the side that had some sauces and other things I may have wanted that didnt come directly on the food. He came back out and explained to me how the beef pho was separated with the noodles and veggies in one container and the broth in another. I ordered the Korean BBQ short ribs and egg rolls. My wife and I were pleased in how good the food tasted. Great customer service, great food, a nice little corner restaurant that will see us coming back for more.

I have been once for a donut and the parking lot is small and cramped. The lines can be long because visalia doesnt have alot of or any other comparative places that similar food and drinks. The modern vibes of this place is fine but nothing exciting. The donuts are good of course, donuts are good in general I think ?. The thing I wanted to talk about was their Korean corndogs. No where esle in visalia can you find a Korean corndog and they are so good. I had them back at this great place in LA, so I was excited to see them offer them. We got two and they were $10-$11 dollars EACH. 10 dollars for a deep fried hotdog with cheese. Not cheap compared to the other places I have tried out side of the valley. I bought them anyway because I wanted to try it once. We bought two, one with cheese and a hot dog, one with out cheese, both with spicy mayo on top. So these are Definitely not worth the price if you dont pay extra for the cheese, in my opinion the cheese is what makes the Korean corn dog. I would like to note that these were slightly disappointing not only in price but also with the cheese quality. Other k.cs I have had the cheese is melty in the inside and pulls apart like when you pull apart a slice of cheese pizza, but with these the batter was still hot so it wasnt a temperature issue, the cheese wasnt melty and was kinda hard and stiff like they left in the freezer to long. Over all Im not super impressed with this place, the prices, or the quality. I wish we had more places like this in the valley so there was some competition. Also its worth it to note the spicy mayo gave my skin an allergic reaction and I had small burns around my mouth, I have never had that happen before with any spicy mayo so thought I would mention that here.

Had a great breakfast at “Dimples Diner” while waiting on my truck at the Ford Dealer/Service for the “Auto Butler” service re-coating and protecting the paint on my 2020 Ford Ranger. Forgot to take a picture of my breakfast, oops! The steak and eggs were excellent, no fat / no gristle on the steak. Doing my word searches while waiting. The coffee here is excellent, always fresh! But now I’m full from coffee, 2 hours worth and two coffee pots later, worth it! Really loved the 50s and 60s Rock & Roll Music, Elvis, Platters, Coasters, etc. My Korean War Army Veteran dad wouldve never left the restaurant just from the music alone that he adored so much, lol, God rest his soul! He LOVED his 50s!To the unknown person that sat across from me that paid for my breakfast according to the waitress…..a big THANK YOU SIR! I would’ve been honored to shake your hand in gratitude because that’s what America is all about! It’s great to know Patriotism is not dead!!!! A rarity……”unfortunately”! Old-timey, old fashioned Army Veteran here with an All-American spirit and values.

Zen Asian Diner
3233 W Noble Ave, Visalia, CA 93277, United States
Delicious!! We came here at the suggestion of our hotels front desk person and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered orange chicken, which came in perfectly fried bite-sized pieces, all tender and none chewy, as well as the BBQ chowmein which tasted better than it looked (packed with flavor and fresh veggies, noodles the perfect texture), and the fried shrimp (absolutely spot on). The service was excellent and the host/server took several calls throughout our stay which only confirmed how great this place is, definitely popular! The hostess got a call from a completely unreasonable customer and was incredibly professional, kind, and as accommodating as possible the whole time, but the woman still vowed to never return. Honestly, that persons loss because if we lived here, wed be back every weekend, it was just THAT good! Plus, rude people dont deserve such good food and great service! Thank you Zen!

Customer service in the front is terrible! Especially the girl with the 4 tattoo on her neck. This is not the first rude encounter I've had with her. I said spicy pork and she proceeded to put spicy tuna. When I said no not spicy tuna she proceeded to look at me like I was stupid. Asked for jalapeños as a topping, she put 2 slices of jalapeños. Ok fine. My total came out to $13.01. I gave her $14 and I had no penny. She gave me $0.75 back and I was waiting for the rest of my change, but then she said everything's already in the bag. I asked her wasn't my total $13.01? She said yea. I said well you only gave me 75¢ and then she gave an attitude and gave me another quarter. Never greeted us when we walked in, doesn't say thank you. If you don't like your job in customer service, find one that doesn't require that skill.

R-N Market
737 S Lovers Ln, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
My family has been shopping at RN forever. I think RN has the best, largest selection of Asian groceries in town. They have alot of different types of seafoods- fresh, dried, fermented..you name it. So much healthy food and the prices are lower than Ive ever seen in town. Rare Asian ingredients and also Mexican products can be found here, as well as a great selection of fresh produce, fresh bakery breads and sweets, a GENEROUS hot deli, a big selection of meats (including organ meats and parts rarely seen in most markets) and a fantastic wall of beverages- ALL at great low prices. The ONLY thing I dont like about this exceptional store is the (womens) bathroom. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels, and a friend to guard the (only 1 stall!) bathroom door, if youre headed into the ladies room. For all things OTHER than the restroom, I give RN Market a shining 5 stars.Drop by. But its busy so Id go before 9 a.m. and after 7:30 p.m..

Healthy Japan
1101 S Mooney Blvd, Visalia, CA 93277, United States
My gf and I used to come here until our recent lunch which was so horrible and runined it. Our meals were not worth of service.... not even for a last meal for a death row inmate. My chicken cutlet was old, dry, and tough which are signs of having been made the day before then microwaved. Hopefully the day before and not earlier. My gf's tempura was douple dipped and fried once more.....another sign of reusing old left overs. The batter was atleast 3/4 of an inch thick. The sushi rice on our roll was stale which is a sign of having been refrigerated. I worked at a similar style Japanese restaurant for 10 years cooking and making sushi, and these are the same frowned upon things my coworkers used to do. Its not hard to tell when you are being served old food, so why try to serve it when people can tell.
