Best Noodle House
9329 Valley Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
Show no care for the food, 20min was their common past for noodle soup and for sure, both noodle and vege were over-cooked in my case. service is horrible. the glass door had been crush up for days with noting replacement in summer. so you will have a good chance to enjoy your food with curious flies. waitress hide in wall with simple belief, never show up without called. ohh, by the way, this store is CASH ONLY.good luck, if you dare. When there were not many customers, we had to wait for more than 20 minutes for our two bowls of noodles, and the noodles and vegetables were already lumpy. A glass door was completely smashed, and glass fragments could still be seen outside the store. The store did not take any protective measures or remedies at all, allowing hot air and flies to come in. The store is located in a remote location and there are no warnings outside the store, so there is no shortage of drug addicts smoking a cigarette outside the store after a meal. The clerk hides behind the crenellation of the wall and will never come out unless the customer calls. No credit cards, only cash

Kim Kee Noodle House

The food here is bomb but the service is lacking. Their door says they close at 4pm (even though online says 5). However they will not accept more customers past 3:30.When you come at 2, theyll start neglecting table service and focus on pre-closing (mopping, putting chairs up, refilling condiments). It always seems like everyone is rushed to get out. I understand the staff wanting to leave on time but neglecting customers 2 hours before the restaurant closes is ridiculous. We ordered some sate beef noodles. We asked the server if we can get it less spicy, which she said yes. When the dish came out it was incredibly spicy. Im guessing she forgot to inform the kitchen. We asked for ice water and the cups came out 80% ice and water wasnt filled to the top. The cup had stains in it too.We drank all the water and flagged down a male server for a water refill. He said ok and proceeded to walk away and started wiping other tables!!! I had to walk to the register to request for more water after waiting 5 minutes. Later, we asked a female server for the check. She also said ok and then grabbed the chili sauce containers on ours and other tables. I swear I watched her walk to the kitchen to refill the sauces. What happened to getting our check?!!! Nobody at this place cares about the customers. Its in one ear and out the other. We flagged down another server who finally brought us our check. Mind you, it wasnt busy. The restaurant had 4 tables occupied.Perhaps management should tell the employees dont start sweating about cleaning/refilling when youre still 2 hours from closing and actually pay more attention to PAYING customers. Props to the kitchen for hot, delicious, and prompt meals.Service needs improvement and thats gonna keep us from coming back. Why come here when theres other Kim Kee restaurants within the vicinity. Im not expecting 5 star service but dont rudely disregard customer requests cause youre in a hurry to leave.

Banh Mi Che Cali

Generally a great place to eat at (minus the increasing prices)...and the short manager trying to kill me.I informed the waiter of my food allergy. I ordered no shrimp in a dish that normally comes with shrimp. I end up getting shrimp in my food. I tried complaining to the waiter to remake my dish, so they get the manager. The manager tries every way possible to convince me to take the food as-is. It comes with shrimp. I tell her, I ordered it without shrimp because I can die. No extra charge. I have a food allergy and cannot eat it. Good thing Im the master at scherades. After motioning 3-4 times that eating it and vomiting = lawsuit, she gave up very furiously and ordered her staff to remake it right. It took longer than necessary. An American restaurant would immediately correct it because they know a lawsuit would cost them the business. Im not going to scherades choking and falling on the dirty floor lol.Keep your orders simple and straight forward from the menu, the staff dont want her being angry for the duration of their shift. Also, the cups say eco-friendly but they arent even made of #7 PLA plastic lolol. Such blatant false advertising. I see nothing eco-friendly about it. Edit: The drink cups have changed, and are smaller :(They charge for water by packaging the water in boba cups, such a waste of nonrenewable natural resources and the planet. I brought my own thermos, they refused to fill it because management wants them to sell packaged water.

First meal of the day @1:05pm Cabbage Chicken?Meat Salad + Hainanese Chicken?Rice? This is the second time I have been to this restaurant. The chicken?meat salad is actually hot?hot?. The taste of cum training is very good. ?????Hainanese chicken?rice? are super delicious. This is my first time ordering Hainanese chicken?rice?. Their Hainanese chicken?rice is actually hot?spicy. Its still hot and smoke comes out. The food in other restaurants is generally just warm. It's really a very amazing feeling. Simply awesome. ??????????I ordered chicken ? pork today. Super tender. It's also worthy of praise. ???Its a pity that this restaurant is only open from 9am to 6pm every day. Its too early to finish work. ?

Happy Buddha Kitchen
5551 Rosemead Blvd, Temple City, CA 91780, United States
This was my first time eating dine-in at Happy Buddha Kitchen (they opened not too long ago + My fam and I usually order to-go). Hand sanitizer at each table and employees all wear masks. All vegetarian menu (some vegan options as well but I'm not sure which menu items).Highly recommend for even non plant-based friends & fam to try! I heard the owner hired a bunch of old-timers in the restaurant business to work on the menu, and it really shows ?. I haven't tried every item on the menu yet, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how good the ones I have are (tmi: I don't tend to like eating imitation beef/fish). A lot of the pho restaurants in the area with vegetarian pho also tend to have a slightly sweet broth, and the one at this restaurant isn't at all.My favorite so far is the Pho Dac Biet (I didn't order it this time), especially that combo of the crunchy tofu skin (I think it's supposed to be crispy chicken skin ?) and beyond meat balls.

Medan Kitchen

Ever since I tried their food, I have been constantly checking their instagram account to see what menu that they have for the weekends. They kinda rotate the menu and update it on their instagram. My husband and I really enjoy every single dish we have here. Theyre pretty authentic and bold, just like how Indonesian food should be. Price wise, theyre cheaper than the other Indonesian restaurants around where we live in West L.A. They have a good variety of prepacked main dishes as well as Indonesian street snacks. They also have a small Indonesian grocery store. Theres a microwave and some tables outside if you want to eat your food right away. In short, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Seor Gs & B
4923 Rosemead Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660, United States
Of course I always save my five stars because I dont believe Ive been to a five star yet. But very impressed the young ma who helped us was very humble very cordial. And to start off Senor Gs had a sign on the door that read No Mask No Service so big plus then he waited for a minutes and told the waitress we were dining in and said she would be with us in a minute, then a young asked the same question and then let us know he was taking our temperature ? big plus. He then asked us to go around to the patio ?big plus. Two other parties having lunch. Very Clean and tables well spaced out. The plates were never handles twice and either were the cups. The needed napkins were place and orders taken correctly. Came around the a few times to see how we were doing but not to many to annoy us or increase the coronavirus anxiety. Picked Up the need plates brought rhe check. Very politely face it down and picked up as my kid was finishing her meal. It was a very Safe, comfortable and filling experience.

Banh Xeo Quan

I found this place from a Google review! I had to try the crispy fried crepe they are known for. When I stepped in I was greeted by one of the owners, a woman, who asked me if Id been there before. I told her that it was my first time. She informed me that they are famous for the Banh Xeo, which are the fried crepes. I ordered the first one on the menu, which comes with shrimp, pork, mushrooms, beansprouts, eggs and onion all sautéed into what looks like an omelette; the crunchy crust is colored by the turmeric. She told me the proper way to eat them: you eat them with your hands. Start with a leaf of lettuce, add some mint leaves, then some of the banh xeo, then some vinegar sauce. If you like it spicy, add some chili sauce too. It was fantastic. It was like comfort food but not too heavy. I ate all of it, every bite, and left feeling great! Comfort food you can overeat! They offer tea, boba, and vietnamese coffee.I loved the ambiance. There was quite a few happy customers in but still the service was attentive and fast! I felt very welcome here and I enjoyed the conversation with the friendly owners. They do take credit cards. FYI the owners are taking a month off for a late New Year celebration and the place will be closed Feb 19, 2023 to March 19, 2023. Mark your calendar for March 20 and try the Banh Xeo!

Banh Mi My Tho Vietnamese Sandwich
9011 Garvey Ave C, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
All the hype on insta and yelp are real! This place seriously has one of the best bahn mis around. Got the #1;Special - Cold cuts (Sliced pork loaf, ham and head cheese) grilled pork, pork pate of course all the sandos comes with - Toasted French bread, egg yolk mayo spread, pickled daikon radish and carrot, cucumber, cilantro and slices of jalapeno. The flavor and amount of veggies were more then ample. As for the pork meat balls and pork fried egg rolls both were 3/5. I dont even know if they have this because I wasnt given any but if I were to come again, I would ask for sauce. Actually, I would say bmc pho currently holds the record for fried egg rolls, sooo good and at 95cents a piece! Cant wait to come back and try the bbq pork bahn mi!Lastly, the area has onsite parking but it does get really full. I would suggest parking on the street or neighborhood if you are in a hurry.

Best value and the only ramen shop that let you fully customized the way you want. Price here is far but their lunch combination is great value. So many toppnngs and option you can play around the ramen. The most popular option here is asking for extra noodle which is only 99 cents =)
