Tried the restaurant at Colonies Crossroads for the last time! Used to order at least 3-4 times a month and slowly declined since the quality has been not what it used to. The last 2 months we have been there 2x and it hasn't been the same. My mom wanted PUS and we got $75 worth of food. The House Chix was good and the noodles tasteless. The beef was really tough and mostly FAT and GRIZZLE! The wontons were soggy and undercooked and the dumplings over done and tough to eat. The chili shrimp had all vegetables and 7 shrimp. The House Chicken was bland and way over cooked. We tried to call the restaurant and we were put on hold 2x for more than 5 minutes. UGH!It seems that they have cut back on quality. We will NEVER go back and will definitely look to go to other places for the same food and better quality. It is sad because we would go just because the food was great. Now it's just way below average. Hopefully they get their act together and get the food back to being exceptionally good.

An Interesting Concept!!This was my first experience with California Fish Grill. I was looking for a new place to eat in the Rancho/Ontario area after I had been to so many places to eat in that area. I decided to venture out a bit and googled some local seafood places. California Fish Grill caught my eye as their mantra was to provide sustainable and responsibly sourced seafood. No-brainer huh? So off I went and discovered it was in a shopping area/mall type location. Parking was easy as cars were coming and going from the parking lot.Once inside I noticed that this wasnt your typical sit-down restaurant. There is a big sign waiting for you when you walk in so lift your head up and heed the big sign. The sign contains all of the offerings that you can get including starters, salads, sides, Grilled Fish, Featured fish....well you get the picture, you order from the sign. Want some advice?? Look online before you go, as there was a crowd of guests in front of who couldnt make up their minds. Luckily for me after standing line for about ten minutes I had plenty of time to decide what I was going to have.Since I was looking for something on the lighter side ( after having Famous Daves for lunch ) I choose the light and refreshing Ahi Poke which is sashimi-grade Ahi ( thats right its raw folks), tossed in a poke dressing, topped with a cilantro cream drizzle and served with house-made tortilla chips. This starter could have been a meal, so I suggest sharing it. This is a light, refreshing and very well prepared dish. The Ahi was fresh and the chips were warm even after a few bites of the Ahi.Next up was the main course, since I was looking for something different so I went with the Barramundi. Barramundi is a tender white fish with firm flakes and a mild flavour and found in the waters off of Vietnam. This was my first time having this fish. To finish off the plate, I added Fire Roasted Corn, Asparagus and a Cajun Style sauce. This was a great selection as the fish was amazingly tender but still cooked right through, the cajun sauce has a little kick to it but it didnt overpower the fish. The fish had a nice flavour to it and it was fresh. I washed it all down with a Red Wine Barrel Aged Red Trolley, an Irish style Red Ale from the Karl Strauss Brewing Company. This was a great and filling meal. The fish was fresh, the service was great, what more can I say? I would eat here again.

DO *NOT *DROP YOUR UPS Package Here.I dropped a package off October 5th, 2023 and they lost it. I couldnt file a claim with UPS because they were never in position of it. Every time I tracked the package it always said it was there. Several managers went to *look* for it but could never find it. I described the employee who helped me so they can follow up with her since she didnt follow whatever procedure for UPS packages. Apparently, that wasnt done either. I was told to call in their customer service line. When I did, their call centers are overseas and couldnt comprehend to issue I was having. They ended up hanging up on me.When I started to call the store more often, I wasnt given any answers or solutions. I left repeated messages with managers for upper management with no return/follow up phone calls.November 13th, 6 weeks later, my package was found and manager Larissa called me to give me the option to pick it up. When I asked what happened no one could tell me how this happened. So its clear theres still no communication between staff and management. On November 14th, when I went to pick up the-never-shipped-package, I asked for a manager. Manager Christopher was absolutely no help. Didnt even know what was going on nor seem compassionate about the experience I was going through. He stated he knew nothing about the situation. Said he was new. I asked him how long hed been there and he stated 3 weeks. I asked him whats the process for employees to get messages to managers. Said they were supposed to give it to them right away. I asked him how did this happen, he couldnt answer. I asked him whats the procedure for collecting UPS packages. He couldnt answer. Every question I asked him, he couldnt answer and started to deflect for me to call 1800Michaels. How are they supposed to help over the phone on a different hemisphere what your store procedures are? I told him they werent even aware of accepting UPS packages. He was completely useless from a customer standpoint. He stated he he was responsible for the new look of the store and how the shelves are fully stocked. It came off tone-deaf and insensitive since that wasnt the matter at hand.I asked him if he knew who dealt with BBB complaints. He had no clue.As a Michaels card holder, a Seller on their Maker Place, a frequent shopper online and in-store, and custom framing, its beyond frustrating to shop there. And theyre the closet location. I never thought I would be treated this way for this long. Then theyre hiring ineffective managers who lack customer serve skills (Chris). What a shame. At this time, my phone calls and BBB complaint is still unanswered.

Honestly this was not a good experience. I ordered online, arrived 15min after the pickup window, and it still wasnt ready. The whole place was dark and they didnt answer the phone when I called, I had to come near the kitchen to get their attention and then I waited 18 minutes to get my food even though the food was supposed to be ready before I even arrived... that would have been fine for me if the food was good but it really wasnt. The chicken tikka masala did not come with rice which was super disappointing because I had to make some at home which took extra time and ingredients when I just wanted dinner. It is absolutely way too expensive to not come with rice. For $17, I really would like rice. The texture if the tikka masala was really weird and it just did not taste good. Not subtly sweet at all, not memorable, not worth it.We also ordered chicken biryani. The chicken on both dishes tasted like shredded chicken, like it was frozen before, and I dont know if thats true or not but thats how it tastes. The texture and taste were insanely bland. The aloo paratha was not my favorite and left a gross taste in my mouth. I liked the laccha paratha which is why this review has 2 stars...Also, the online ordering system on their website is weird about tips. I tried to manually type in a custom tip and when I added it, it automatically added the highest default tip option with no way to remove it! I like tipping food service workers well because its respectful so I left it on but was disappointed there was no way to alter it on their website without redoing the entire order. Also, after the experience I had and the dismissive way staff treated me in store, I dont really feel it was deserved.I would not recommend Aroma, sorry.

Ive only been to this place three times the first two times were good. I think they are training a new crew so I know it takes time to get people up to speed. The most recent time I was there I placed an order for a limited time item the grilled steak and was told that they didnt have any okay I understand things run out and then placed an order for chicken beef plate and a chicken bowl to go. After 15 minutes I approached the counter asked why my food wasnt ready and was told that the beef was cooking okay Ill wait more. A couple minutes later the lady behind me went to the counter to ask why her food was not ready.Approximately 25 to 30 minutes later my food was prepared my name was call and I went to the counter. The young girl working the register asked me if I would like any sauce and I said yes please some of the brown teriyaki sauce you put on topShe said thats extraI Didnt say anything I just looked at her like really?!To her credit she turned around and asked her manager can I just give him a sauce because he waited so long and the manager shook his head yesI understand training a new crew we have all been there but if customers are going to be expected to wait beyond 10 minutes or any length of time that is not normal they should be informed ahead of time theres theres going to be a delay do you still want to order?People are more accommodating when you think especially during this time but you need to tell them ahead of time if things are not going to be like normal.

The Food here is top notch. It is perhaps a little expensive though. However, you will not find food this good at a lower-cost Chinese food place. They seem to use nothing but fresh ingredients, and their chef is obviously a master at his craft. He neither overcooks, nor undercooks. Nor does he over-fry things in the wok. Nothing was soaked in oil (which means he doesnt just throw everything in a wok and let if fry... the way cheap places do). The menu had many items, and if the main courses are too expensive, they do have some delicious appetizers if one has less money to spend. The food here is perfect. It is nice they have some good vegetarian options, too.The decor is fair. Just a fast food-looking kind of a place, but with better food.Although the workers there are all very nice and all do their jobs.... the service is set up in a fashion that is not very intelligent. If you eat in they want you to have a seat like a regular restaurant where a waitress or waiter takes your order. This is all silly pretentious overkill. And its a waste of tip money, and a waste of everyones time. They should treat eat in orders as the same as fast food. Just call it when its ready and have the customer pick it up at the counter. That would be way faster.Instead... we had to wait for the server to come to us.... which oftentimes could take 5 or 10 minutes. So silly, when I can just get up, go to the counter, and get what I want or pay my bill instantly without waiting for the silly notion of a waiter or waitress to approach the table. They should get rid of all table service, and make EVERYTHING to go fashion. Even for those who eat-in. Furthermore, if you eat in, they dont give you a fountain drink the way they do take out people. Instead they give you a can of drink and a glass of ice. This is a nice attempt at class, but it comes out as pretentious and unnecessary, when a fountain drink is such a better deal in the amount of drink one gets.So go for the food, but I suggest you order it to go even if you eat-in. Customers want self service. Not slow, expensive hosted service. This place is small. No waiters or waitresses are necessary.
