Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
3755 Alton Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92606, United States
Excellent experience. Each dish includes bread steaks (they will be checking every 10 minutes to bring you more sticks ?). The soup was amazing at the beginning I thought the soup portion was small but crew members will refil your soupl if you ask. Thanks Ryan for being so kind at the restaurant.
Boiling Point

Service never fails, always consistent the few times I have visited, quick, fast, courteous. Undoubtedly the best Hot Pot restaurant in Irvine if not Orange County. Favorite is the Beef Hot Soup done spicy with vermicelli. Tried the Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup the last time I visited, a warning, it sure is spicy, be prepared to sweat profusely as it will sure kick up exponentially, each and every one of your taste buds. Recommend the steamed vegetables and the enoki mushrooms as sides, it sure does supplement the meal very well. The green Jelly packet provided at the end does aid to calm and soothe your stomach and adds as a mini dessert as well. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting and you will not be dissapointed.
Pho Saigon Pearl
2750 Alton Pkwy #121, Irvine, CA 92606, United States
Should I give Pho Saigon Pearl 5 stars?According to the latest episode of The Simpsons, if I give a 5 star rating this place will no longer be a secret and I will ruin the experience by causing a flock of people to come here. So sad but true. The Simpsons are never wrong.I have mentioned this restaurant many times to friends and co workers. I have eaten here for dinner and lunch within the same week. Like a drug when offered or suggested by peers I have never turned Pho Saigon Pearl down no matter what. Im like an addict and best friend at the same time because I will always be there for PSP. Is this place the best Pho place in Irvine? Hands down YES! (Given Pholicious is only open for lunch and it is located pretty much in Lake Forest). If you think Pho-Bac is better well PHOOO-KK You!There is a decent portion to price value here. If you are expecting 5 dollar pho, Im sorry to disappoint you. There is a bit of inflation in the Pho Marketplace. Due to its popularity the average price is about 7 to 8 average in ANY CITY but quality and quantity will vary. I have tried pho in so called Asian areas (Irvine will there give it 5 years) even in Little Saigon and LA there are a lot of Meh places. I eat more Pho than you eat burgers at In-N-Out, McDonalds, Carls Jr, and Burger King combined. So Im PHOOO REAL!PROS:-Great taste-Local and fast in Irvine-Super clean, the opposite of standard Pho restaurants. The servers use gloves and the tables are clear immediately after a customer leaves.-I love their spoons. The back of the soup spoon has a lip so it will not fall in your soup with you leave it on the edge. BRILLIANT!! Great attention to detail.-Runs like a smooth and efficient business.-To-Go orders are fast. I am always told 10 minutes for takeout, but I work about 5 minutes away and the food is always ready to go before I arrive. SPEEDDEEEE!-The Pho meat is nicely cut. To-go orders are packed like a master piece. I took a turn too fast and the soup did not explode in my car.CONS:3.5 Stars is fair.I am a fan, but here are a few reason that I cant give Pho Saigon Pearl a perfect rating:1. The Broth- It has a nice flavor and not too watery or too MSG tasting. I only wish the broth could be a little bit stronger. I want a beefier broth with a strong flavor.2. Inconsistency- Since I have eating here many times I noticed a few things. When I first started eating here the portions seemed larger. Dont get me wrong the pho is still very filling. Most of the time you wont notice the difference between a Small and Large. However, I have found that Take Out especially during lunchtime yields more meat than Dinning Inside during dinnertime. This bothers me a bit because we are getting a great experience at a 15% higher cost because of Tip but getting less....3. Rice dishes and Egg rolls- good, but doesnt compare to other pho restaurants. Maybe its just a different taste Im not use too. I expect a little better for Charbroiled Pork Chop.Verdict: Recommended. If you are gonna find reasons to hate this place, save your money. If you are gonna smack talk Irvine for no reason, throw your money at some other garbage place. If you are in a rush for some lunch and want something good try Pho Saigon Pearl. Best time to go is during a cold or rainy day. You will have a smile on your face.
Pho Saigon Pearl
704 Spectrum Center Dr Suite 704, Irvine, CA 92618, United States
My recent visit to Pha Saigon Pearl Spectrum was an absolute letdown. The sandwich I ordered smelled like it had been left out in the sun for days, and the taste was equally disgusting. The pho soup was no better, had a very awful stench that made me question their hygiene standards. Despite pointing out that the tofu in my sandwich was clearly spoiled, the restaurants response was to acknowledge the issue without bothering to replace the offending item. This level of disregard for customer satisfaction is truly disappointing. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, as the entire experience was nothing short of a culinary nightmare.
Lao Ma Tou Hot Pot - Irvine
4230 Barranca Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92604, United States
My fiancé and I have been here several times and its always a wonderful experience. The servers are fast, attentive, but most of all welcoming and warm. They are thoughtful and always grab things for you even before you ask (clean plates, aprons, water). As someone who is not Asian but eats hot pot regularly since its one of my favorite foods, there was a point when I needed guidance on what to order and which sauce goes good with what (one of my close friends is Chinese and she taught me) and this place is the best for that. I saw other non-Asian couples here and the servers were teaching them how to mix the sauces and guiding them through the different broth options. Ive been to many hot pot restaurants and the food has always been good but this place takes prize for checking off every box. Super high quality items, all delicious! What we usually order:- Mala spicy broth level 5 (I dont recommend this level of spicy unless you have super high tolerance) OR regular bone Broth if were eating here with someone whi doesnt like spice.- Any of the beef cuts are good- Pork belly- Shrimp balls- Lamb- Quail eggs (MUST)- Tofu skin or bean curd- Hot pot noodle- Enoki mushroom- Lotus root- Rice, for those who dont like noodles

If I could give a “ O “ I would. I ordered 3 soups and a sandwich. I had bought bagels and cookies and received them when I ordered. So as I waited for the soups and 1 sandwich several who ordered after me received their order one was a pizza. Then another lady long long after me received hers and it wasn’t a call in either. Finally received my order crammed in a small bag asked me do you want a bigger bag I said please. She just threw it down. A manager, at least I thought he was, came and did it for me. I told him the service was awful he said sorry. That was it. Didn’t seam to care what happened. Never will return and will tell others not to go. I was a restaurant GM. I may have just let it be but they didn’t care. So I will care for them and warn others.

Friendly staff, especially Emily and Blanca. The food here is delicious, especially the buttermilk cake for desert. I usually get BBQ pizza & pea basil soup combo which is absolutely delicious. Ive loved the pea basil soup for many years now. Overall great restaurant!

Get takeout here occasionally but have never eaten in the restaurant. Takeout service has been good. The food is why I keep coming back. Everything from their small plates (Mexican Street Corn), soups (Sedona Tortilla), and pizzas (Thai Chicken) is really good. Would be 5 stars but for the prices.

As of end of April 2024 I heard that this restaurant opened four months ago. For the residents of Shady Canyon, this is great because it adds a nice Italian restaurant with great ambience nearby. The food is good. I like the soup enough that I would order it again. Since we are about 20 minutes away, we probably won’t come here again. Though we will drive further than that for great Italian food. Just saying. Nothing wrong with this restaurant and I wish them the best.

Authentic Korean soup restaurant. Clean interior and kind service. Glad to have one here in Irvine since I was a huge fan of moobonri LA.
