I found this place by accident and now I go there weekly and sometimes more often. David and Lei(sp?) are very welcoming and attentive. The food is deliciously addicting ?. Im vegan and Lei is very helpful offering suggestions from an extensive healthy menu. I love the vegetarian soup, the rice crepes, the spring rolls and the sautéed vegetables. Everything that I have tried so far has tasted fresh and been delicious. One can order to go or eat at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the portions very generous. I highly recommend it!I cant wait to go back again soon!

We live in Temecula area. On 6/10/21 at 6:10 pm I entered the store to place a to go order. We where heading back over the Ortega's and wanted to pick up some bagels. I stood in line toplace my order. There was only a couple at the register when I entered the store. I waited for them to place there order. They finished and I approached the register. The cashier at that point decided to talk to the guy who had walked up about going to lunch and making sure that they would be able to leave by 9pm. I placed my order of a bakers dozen bagels. I asked for 3 cinnamon raisin, 4 Asiago and 6 plain. I also ordered the last everything to be toastedAnd 2 small cream cheese and on large. I paid and then waited of to the side as there was now about 10 people behind me. I decided to walk to the back and use the restroom. As I walked back to the restroom I noticed several employees just standing around at the pick up window just chatting. As I walked through the restaurant I noticed just about every table was empty but filthy. I used the restroom (which were clean) and went back up front. I waited a few more minutes and was then given my order. I then proceeded to drive an hour home. On the way home we noticed that we had only received one of the small cream cheese. When we got home we noticed that the rest of the was not accurate. We had only 11 bagels, no Asiago, and some how 3 poppy seeds. We called the store around 7:30 to voice a complaint. The person who answered the phone said they were a manager. The only solution he gave was for us to drive the hour back to get a credit or in the chance that we happen to be in the area in the future we could get a credit off a future visit. Sent an email in to corporate on that evening. That was Sunday it is now Wednesday at noon and we have heard nothing. I called corporate and voiced my complaints we will see if anyone cares. The way the restaurant was I really don't believe so.

Regrettably the food was terrible. The Chicken Parmesan was dry and without any flavor. You could also tell it had been fried in a very low grade oil and it wasnt edible (I didnt finish though I hadnt eaten all day). I ordered the Tiramisu desert and it was as dry as toast. The lady fingers had some coffee but they too were all dried out.The wine was good but that was it. I wouldnt recommend until the improve the quality of there food. A little care with the food and the ingredients would go a long way with little extra expense. When a customer can get better chicken parm in the frozen food section of the grocery store, you have a problem and dear heavens, use good oil.Talega is an affluent area, your going to have to up the quality of ingredients to survive.

This is not a Japanese restaurant. Its an interpretation of one with food of other cultures as well. The food was edible, but nothing exciting. Poor kid was the only one running the tables inside while everyone and their brother were handling the orders outside. Probably should not have visited during the Night Market event. Never did get my miso soup.

We were taking a small Orange County road trip driving down the coastline and stopped by for a sunset dinner. Stella greeted us and welcomed us warmly, right away. We like Indian food and have tried foods from different regions, so we mentioned this to her when asked if we like Indian food. I let Stella know I had had an Indian roommate during college who was from Kerala, and I liked their food very much. She said she was from Kerala! What a neat surprise. Papadam was set on the table with a variety of chutney and spiced yogurt. We ordered lamb karahi, a chefs special that Stella said was an excellent choice. It came out steaming in a pan set on the table and roused others curiosity. Lamb was melt in your mouth tender accentuated by the sweet peppers an and tomato sauce. Very good. Vegetable biryani, an Indian pilaf, was very aromatic and had a complex combination of spices, very authentic. Tikka masala, the British favorite, was smooth and again well spiced and just right. Chicken was tender and tasted clean, good quality meat. Roti was great for picking up the sauces. I tried following Jonathan Golds rule of avoiding the menu items youve heard of and ordered many times before but I couldnt resist. Use the Yelp check-in deal and get the free mango lassi. The rice pudding and gulab jamun were strong on the cardamom and had me thinking of the Great British Bakeoff. They do not skimp on spice, aroma, and flavor! Try the chai, their tea with garam masala and ginger. Its a very nice send-off to salute a thoroughly enjoyable meal. Food was a delight and so was Stella, she was very kind. They deserve appreciation.

Loved the short rib sandwich, the taste I had of my wife's burger, and the lemon ricotta beignets. Short rib was incredibly tender and moist. Onion crisps helped make sure it didn't feel soggy. Flavor combinations were unlike anything I've had before. Just the right amount of peppers and horseradish crema so it didn't dominate the sandwich. Side salad had pickled red onions that added just the right zest. Clearly a chef in house who knows what he/she is doing. 30-40 min drive for us, but definitely planning to come again. Well worth it. (Doesn't hurt to swing by San Clemente beach for sunset stroll while we're there)

Omyyyygggggeeeee this place is so yummy and sweet. For those of you looking for dog friendly spots to take your pup child out for a jaunt, this European style cafe sits in the middle of The Place To Be for local San Clemente dogs. They said that one German Shepherd nearly hits the ceiling, they are so excited to step inside. Im dog-sitting and this guy is super particular about who he goes to visit. He heads right for this place each time were near. And they give him love and treats and cool water on the porch.Oh, I should mention the food hahaha, they had baked goods and handmade bowls and coffee. I decided on the Kombucha on tap and it was light and flavorful with just the right amount of tang. Also when we were headed home I chatted with some folks who recognized the to go cup and mentioned how much they enjoy the coffee at Alohana. So next time they are going to try the Kombucha - and I will try the coffee - and Lenny can have just a spot more of whipped cream ?

Went for lunch on a Saturday and there was only one other table besides us when we went at noon. Over time more people came and there were about 5 or 6 tables when we left. One waitress (Lily) had to take care of all tables by herself but she still managed to change the grill plate pretty frequently and regularly check in to make sure everything was good for us. Huge shoutout to Lily for a great experience? The marinated selections were all really tasty, our favorite was the marinated beef short ribs? The ready to eat options and side orders were all pretty good too, and the ice cream at the end was definitely a perfect ending? They have ventilation systems on top of every grill, it doesn't completely eliminate all the grease and smell, but it does make a significant difference??Pro tip - if you don't want to smell like bbq after your meal, you can get those single-use shower caps (We got some from Target, but I'm sure you can get them at other places too) and wear them while you're there. We did that and I'm pretty sure everyone else in the restaurant looked at us for more than once?but we managed to not smell like bbq after all the grilling?
San Clemente Beach Trail
San Clemente Pedestrian Beach Trail, San Clemente, CA 92672, United States
A nice trail to walk, look out over the ocean and get some fresh air. Its a great place to walk your dog, with well defined trails and nice flowering succulents along the sides of the path. The trail offers a few areas where you can cross the train tracks and enjoy the beach. Be careful and aware while walking because at times bicycles can move up on you rapidly attempting to pass.I like to park at the North Beach parking lot, although it can feel a bit sketchy at times. From there, you can head south, enjoy a nice walk to the pier, restaurant and shopping area. The eateries offer some outside dining, where you can enjoy a meal near the fresh ocean air.Its definitely a nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon. You can get a little exercise, take some photos and enjoy a view of the coastline.
