Taco Bell
370 M St, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
The literal worst experience I've ever had at a fast food chain. For one if it wasn't so late, we would have went somewhere else. We came into the restaurant & all the employees looked dirty and so does the restaurant. We quickly made an order on our phone, hoping we would be in and out of there and instead waited for over an hour and a half on our food. I had been sitting by the counter waiting, and they never called my name so finally, I went up and asked where our food was and they told me sorry they had given it to someone else. When The employee told me that I just looked at him because I didn't know what else to do and he said “sorry that sucks” he finally, HESITANTLY, told me that they would remake it. So I sat there waiting another 20 minutes and finally went and asked for a refund. When the manager was told, she literally threw down the taco that she was working on and said “I'm working on that right now but just give her her refund” But when the other employee went to give me my refund, they realized they couldn't because I had ordered on the app which was a third-party thing. I'm not sure why my order wasn't immediately made as soon as they realized they had given it to someone else. Regardless we finally got our food. Stupid me didn't even check to be sure that we had all of our food, so yeah, we drove away only to find out that half of it was missing and Taco Bell has yet to contact me about a refund for even just the items I was missing even though I've submitted several complaints. The WORST customer service I've ever seen. Oh also, they were not even remotely busy.
Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
387 M St A4 & A5, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
First time there, I ordered two pizzas . Neither one of them was made correctly . Mine was the garlic chicken with no chicken add pepperoni and sausage ( it only had pepperoni) and my sons was supposed to be a dairy free pepperoni pizza add sausage bell pepper and pineapple. They didn't make it so when I went to pick it up I had to ask a confused staff behind the counter where my order was . They then informed me they don't have dairy free cheese . So I asked they make it without cheese . When we got it it didn't have pepperoni either . They also had to make our s'mores . So we stood there for 15 minutes and still got two incorrect pizzas . We had ordered hours before. Not impressed . The one person on the phone was supposed to be talking to the customers . The rest were busy and that guy was on the phone . Not well run. The food wasn't bad, but sheesh and oh I am pretty sure I paid about 7 bucks to much

The building is very basic tidy and clean. As you walk in youll see Art behind the register ready to take your order with a very grateful attitude and friendly smile. This American-Armenian family is a delight to this town and well represents the American Dream! This BBQ joint has been 4 years in the making for them, as thru the familys hard work they have restored and remodeled the restaurant themselves. This lil BBQ joint is one of the Crescent Citys best kept secrets. You can get a full meal thats cheaper than McDonalds and as quick. The flavor and healthiness of the food rivals an other in Northern California. Plates include choice of meat on white rice with sides of humus, cole slaw, or baked beans. Also try one of their authentic Mediterranean wraps for something on the go.
Norris family kitchen
632 M St, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
We stopped in for dinner on a weeknight in June, 2023. To be honest, I think we went to McDonalds. We walked in and were told to order off the menu on the wall. Pay up front. Then wait for your meal. Since I ordered a burger, it was almost identical. The only difference is that I dont get asked to give a tip up front before I eat and for basically a McDonalds experience. The only difference between my Norris experience and the Burger experience that I had a week ago at McDonalds was the Norris Family Kitchen putting me in an awkward position extorting a tip up front before any services were rendered. If you dont tip, will there be retaliation?Anyway, let me say that the employees were great and I will not say anything bad about them. So please do not take it that way. So the food came out and to be honest neither of us thought are food was all that good. My burger wasnt bad. But the fries had no flavor. You should not have to cover the foods taste with condiments to give it flavor. The wife didnt even eat most of her food. Although she put on a face and told me it wasnt bad. Yet she left most of her meal. And no, she didnt have a burger.Maybe we just picked a bad day. Maybe we picked the wrong. food. Whatever the explanation, we were just passing through, so more than likely, we wont be back just because we do not live on this side of the country.Im not saying the Norris is bad. I am saying to try them and judge it for yourself. You may have a totally different experience. And that would be great as far as Im concerned.
SeaFront Baking Company
1348 Front St, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
I love the look of this place, its amazing! Everything is very cute & clean :) The food and coffee taste seriously so amazing & very flavorful. Unfortunately, the chilaqueiles werent that great. My egg was undercooked, but the burritos, smashed sausage biscuit, and avocado toast were 10/10.The service, however, was killed by 1 employee who was completely rude. Our family was in the back and couldnt hear our coffee be ready, so they had to use the beeper given. She yelled at me because I didnt get there soon enough for her. Said, Next time you need to wait here, I was extremely shocked at the customer service by this one person. I literally went for 1 min to drop everything off at our table, and it beeped. She wasnt friendly at all.The manager was apologetic and sincere. I appreciate her concern and hospitality. Next time, hopefully, itll be a better experience. The manager did have other staff run out my food; so I do appreciate that and gave a gift card. We will be back.
Cristinas
237 Price Mall, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
First time visiting Cristinas Mexican restaurant. It is located at the Price Mall, across from US Bank on 3 rd Street in Crescent City. We were welcomed and offered a seat wherever we liked, when we arrived. Comfortable diner like atmosphere. Friendly service. Chips and salsa (mild and spicy) were served with our drink requests. The menu has a good variety of Mexican food dishes. We ordered the chili relleno plate and the Chili Verde plate, both coming with rice and beans. We did not have to wait very long for our dinner to arrive. Good portion size for what was ordered. We gobbled up our food, enjoying the taste of every bite. It was good ?. The prices of the food is very competitive. I would venture to say, likely the best in town. Especially when considering taste, serving size and service. I would recommend and I will be returning on my next visit to Crescent City.
Kin Khao Thai Eatery
1270 Front St ste c, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
When reviews say “The best Thai in Town” and you're from a city that has MANY “Best Thai in Town” restaurants, you tend to be a bit…apprehensive? Suspicious? Incredulous?Arriving at any restaurant touted to be “the best in town”, the first thing that comes to mind is, “how busy is it?” Then, “how many ‘locals' are eating there?” Keep in mind that by ‘locals' we all usually mean ‘of the same culture as the that of the restaurant's food'. While this is an outdated and often improper way of gauging culinary goodness, it remains with most, THE way to do so until we actually try the food. So, we drove to it, found it to be very, very busy with peoples of all backgrounds and ethnicities eating in and taking out. This place must be all it's said to be.Trying to get a place to sit was not difficult, just a bit lengthy. Staff are walking back and forth, carrying delicious-looking dishes and inadvertently wafting the amazing smells each dish has to offer in our direction, making us hungrier by the second. Finally, we are led to a table apologized to for the delay and given menus and water. Looking at the menus, we see some familiar names and photos resembling foods we've had before but more importantly, we see dishes rarely seen in other Thai restaurants as well as promises of delectable fusions and photos of dishes that would make the least hungry person turn and have a second glance. So many dishes…we make our choice and wait to order…and wait…to…order…ANd WAIT TO ORDER! Really, it only took like 8 minutes but when you're hungry and see and smell the smorgasbord of foods and dare I say, exotic scents, it feels like a lifetime. We settled on the Tom KAH for my wife, the Spicy Garlic Shrimp with a side of rice for me as well as their Summer Rolls and Crispy Rolls for appetizers. Then more waiting. I tell you they were soooooo busy!Once we got our food, we were as close to culinary heaven as you can get. The flavours and textures were right on point. The appys were fresh and freshly fried and so flavourful that we pondered getting more.Like I said, we have many Thai restaurants in our city. My wife is a stickler for good Thai food and we will be returning to try more of this deliciousness that Kin Khao is putting out en masse! In all seriousness, the wait wasn't that long and the staff were fantastic, always checking up on us and updating us. Friendly and proud of the work the do and the food they serve. We definitely recommend this place.
Historic Hiouchi Cafe
2095 US-199, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
We visited for Mothers day brunch and had high expectations from reviews and standing in the door for 40 minutes watching food being strutted by us. The portions looked huge and food looked amazing. I was so excited to try the ricotta pancakes after seeing all the lush dishes and knew they would be stunning. I received two limp pancakes with some strawberry slices on the side (no whip even though it came with it). Thought maybe they got my order confused since we had our kids and maybe they thought we ordered the regular pancakes for them. No, but they did admit to forgetting the whip. I could differentiate between what i was served and the most basic pancakes. We also had ordered juices for the kids and waited very patiently for a server to check on us again to remind them. My husbands chicken and waffles were stellar though and our waitress poured a heavy mimosa so that upped the rating but since we were seated by the kitchen I saw another server absolutely stiffing people on the champagne and felt bad.
Port OPints Brewing Co.
1215 Northcrest Dr, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
I was very excited to visit here. I researched the best places in Crescent City before my trip here. This came up as one of the best. Unfortunately my experience was less than ideal. Upon walking in, we were not greeted, we stood at the bar for approximately 7 minutes. During this time we were never acknowledged. I witnessed both cooks in the back prepping food without masks or gloves, one even pulled money out of his pocket and handled it while prepping food. Another couple walked in several minutes after we had been there. They appeared to be friends with staff as one of the kitchen staff came out and made small talk. The female bartender served them before acknowledging our presence. The male bartender was likewise inattentive and never acknowledged our presence either. Unfortunately that was enough for me to take my money elsewhere. I was very excited to visit this establishment, it's truly unfortunate that the service was terrible. I was very disappointed.
SeaQuake Brewing
400 Front St, Crescent City, CA 95531, United States
Truly a gem. I was in Crescent City for three days and we came to SeaQuake three times. The restaurant is cozy and atmospheric with a fireplace and big windows looking outside. I would definitely recommend sitting outside if the weather will cooperate, the patio is lovely and quiet. The service is excellent, all of the waitresses we had were lots of fun and attentive even when my group sat outside. On our first visit we initially sat outside and asked to move inside because it got pretty windy and the wait staff was super accommodating. The drinks were incredible. I drink a lot of cider and the Blurberry cider is literally the best I’ve ever had. Refreshing and flavorful but not too sweet. I ordered four across my three visits and I bought two crowlers (canned growlers, maybe?) to take away. The others in my party enjoyed their various beers as well. The first waitress we had was generous with samples when one of the members of my party was having trouble deciding what to order. The food was great as well. I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it and the rest of my party was happy with their orders, too. The menu is varied and has several vegetarian options so most anyone could find something they’d enjoy.
