Taco Bell
7255 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
I worked here from April to now when I needed to move. I was working my last shifts for the next few days to come until quitting earlier than expected last night when a coworker went off on me and physically threatened me two days ago. My boss above me did nothing to appease the situation as the coworker continued to harass me the following day (yesterday). The coworkers name is Robyn. I reported the situation to my assistant GM, Sunny, who spoke with the GM, Janet, and regional GM, Adam Moore. Still nothing was appeased. Im VERY disappointed by the way the whole situation was handled and especially in front of dinning customers as my boss let Robyn continue on her rampage thru the store, yelling at everyone working and myself. I expected better of my place of employment to remove a worker threatening to harm me and also harass me during my work shift. Unfortunately, this left a VERY foul taste in my mouth as I was expecting to transfer locations and Im very disappointed in the upper management for continuing to let an unruly employee like that work there with a past history of anger issues with others.I sincerely hope this taco bell continues to strive to do better as it has hoped to do and learns to handle situations like these better in the future. Such a shame taco bell. Such a shame...
Ikes Love & Sandwiches
128 Serramonte Center, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
As most people have mentioned, they dont get online orders correct. Also, they clearly dont have enough staff. I waited 20 minutes just to pick up my online order, which I could see from the pickup window. No one was paying attention to the pickup window as I stood there for 5 minutes when I came here on a Monday. So I went to the order window and was ignored for another 10 minutes while the cashier raced around packaging up a huge order (like 15-20 sandwiches; they shouldnt even be accepting big orders like this with the number of staff they have). When the cashier returned to the register (with a growing line of people behind me) he said pick ups are at the pick up window and handed me my order there... Duh, I tried the pickup window yet no one was paying attention to the pick up window. The staff there were working their tails off, there is no denying that, but clearly this location needs some attention from management/higher ups who need to see that they need more staff. Ill be going to the Stonestown location from here on out.
Taco Bell
287 Westmoor Ave, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
I've been to this Taco Bell many times. I always find the experience to be alright. The workers aren't really motivated to be there. Whenever I walk in to order to-go, it looks like they don't have enough people. I ask for no sour cream on my order from time-to-time and put emphasis on having no sour cream. But 2 times out of 3, I would still have sour cream. It just makes it really hard for someone to eat their food when they can't tolerate sour cream. Also, if you're ordering from the counter, you may need to talk a bit louder (or deeper) since it's very hard for the cashier to hear you because of the noise from the kitchen. Also, just be sure to double-check your meals before leaving/eating if you have any changes to your order.

They were amazing. All the workers were trying their hardest and you could see it. I got an acai bowl and it was amazing. Such great textures and flavors. Every bite was like a harmony serebanading my tastebudes.Customer service was even better. I dont exactly rememeber her name but one of the ladies up front, i believe her name was Jane or Jaine(dont take my word for it, i got distracted by my acai bowl that i forgot as i was eating), knew how to lead and serve. Me being a new person she showed care, you could see the work she put in trying to fufill everyones including my order, she communicated with me when something was up, she led her coworkers making sure everyone knew what they were doing. She treated us few customers like we were many(in a good way) and made sure i knew what was going on, like if something was taking time. She checked to see if some blenders were clean and took one out when she knew it wasnt. I can see huge potential in her future. Wonderful job by all and will come back to get another and get that name right.First time i ever write a review.
Pieology Pizzeria
309 Gellert Blvd, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
Normally very friendly staff. Food is decent and worth it. Today, the one lady behind the counter started giving me attitude. I asked for a thick crust, she started prepping a thin crust. The guy on the press heard what I requested and cleared it up. Now, Im no pizza expert. My level of expertise is remembering to chew it. You get the dough wrong, I dont know. Your job, not mine. My usual, I was polite and I always apologize whether or not its my fault to prevent tension. But then she proceeds to make it my fault she got it wrong. I kept my mouth shut. Thats what online reviews for. In case anyone cares. She looked white, skinny, black hair, no name tag, and in a Maroon polo shirt. I dont mean to get anyone in trouble. And I can take a little rude or poor service. But giving me lip? Lol. Not cool. If I wasnt so tired, I would have spoken up. But golden rule of restaurants, dont F with those that handle your food.

Drip and Melt - Cafe Deli
301 87th St, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
While shopping in the area, and in need of coffee and a quick breakfast, Yelp came to the rescue again. Drip & Melt is a newly opened deli in Daly City serving Peets coffee (delicious!) and various freshly made toasted sandwiches/wraps/bagels for breakfast & lunch. My beef chorizo breakfast wrap (eggs, chorizo, jalapeno pepper jack, hash browns, salsa and avocado) was outstanding, as was my hubbys sausage egg bagel!Service was very friendly and fast. Sandwiches are very reasonably priced and if we lived in the area, this would be a fantastic place to have on our takeout rotation! The deli adjoins a laundromat - would be great for grabbing a bite while waiting for your dryer! There are a few tables and some high top seating, as well as a self-service kiosk which is nice. Ambiance was comfortable, albeit a bit stark - I could envision a cool mural on the long wall!
Tiny Sushi - Oh Baby
32 Park Plaza Dr, Daly City, CA 94015, United States
Wow!! I’m not much accustomed to choosing sushi restaurants because of my vegetarian diet (meaning no seafood of any kind). However, based on the online menu and positive reviews, my friend and I visited here for lunch. The restaurant is tiny but we were easily seated at the bar. Many people came in and out for takeout. I was thoroughly impressed by the tiger roll (pictured), which includes pumpkin, asparagus and avocado. My friend loved her walnut prawn roll. Convenient location at Westlake shopping center. Looking forward to a return visit!
Kings West Coast Pizzeria
6540 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
After my dental appointment at Pacific Sky on Mission, I was really hungry as I missed lunch. Having parked on the street, I noticed Kings across the street. To my extreme satisfation they didnt disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Lunch Plate. The price was a bargain compared to the amount of food. It came with a generous layer of rice and beans topped with thinly sliced perfectly marinated chicken breast. Also they included, a little side of a healthy salad, corn sauteed with green beans, and some spaghetti. I got a beer as well, and took lunch home. I felt so much better enjoying such delicious food after a trying dental visit. I will defintely go back or order online for pizza and Acais, desserts, etc....they dont kid around, they have what will make you a happy customer.

Fog City Cafe
6185 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014, United States
The service here is incredibly inconsistent and for my part, incredibly frustrating. I entered around midmorning and it was fairly busy, with the majority of the tables already seated and eating, with just a few people milling around waiting to order. Once I had my chance to, I ordered two coffee drinks and two breakfast sandwiches. The drinks were ready within 10 minutes, which is fair, because there were some orders ahead of me, but the food took well over 45 minutes to be served to me.I sort of lost track of time after my drinks were delivered, because I even asked the young man shortly after when my food would be ready and he said, Soon. It was around this time I had noticed that a group of five men walked in and walked to the counter to make their orders. They sat at a table directly next to the bar and were making conversation. About 15 minutes later, each of them was being served their drinks and plates of full breakfast. There were others too, another couple who had entered after me, ordered, and were given their takeaways before I got mine. I asked again, where is my food and I was told, Soon.Needless to say, the five guys were finishing up their food when I finally got my two sandwiches. I had been waiting for about an hour by this point.I certainly hope no one else has had or will have this kind of experience with this restaurant, but it would be wise to consider eating elsewhere. Especially when it is busy. I know I will never be eating here again, thats for sure.
