Lemonade Restaurant
4525 La Jolla Village Dr Unit D35, San Diego, CA 92122, United States
Pretty design and decor...Meets Pretty Bland!I have been to this fast casual eatery now three times and I always like to try and give all eateries a few tries before passing judgement. This restaurant is about to get my score and it's not good.Food 2.5/5:I always start with the food. This restaurant does not have very tasty food. know that fast casual restaurants are the craze right now. I've been to this restaurant three times and I truly wanted to like it. The food is health conscience. People come here to get food that is prepared healthy. I have no problem with that. However the portions are small and the pricing is a bit high. When I have been here the food did not taste very good. They have a cafeteria style set up. You enter the line grab a tray and make your way down selecting items you want. On one occasion I tried a sandwich and a small bowl of soup. The bread was extremely hard. Even with mayonnaise and some sauce spread on the sandwich it was still very tough. The soup was luke warm and not very hot. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the actual drink which was a lemonade. The amount of food you get versus the price is not comparable. Price is too high for what you get.Service and seating: 3.5/5The service was OK. The people overall are fairly friendly. They do their best to keep the line moving however it is a strange set up. There were times when the servers got confused with the items that we were selecting and it slowed things down. It is a bit strange because you should be able to move right down the line and get what you want. This was the case all three different times I came to the restaurant. The seating empty corner of the restaurant is extremely nice. It is very modern looking and of course is inside of a mall. The seating and decor is very welcoming and inviting you definitely feel you're sitting in a modernized upscale café.Overall this fast casual is very over hyped and overrated. It's easy on the eyes but not on the wallet. If you are truly looking for a fast casual and healthy alternative then head over to Urban Plates. Try this place if you like but I would steer clear.

I have been coming since they opened and was hoping service and speed would eventually get better. Definitely has not. I came here on Friday March 1 around 1. There were only 2 people working the front which seems to be the norm. I dont get why they usually only have two people work the front and tons of people working the back just walking around and slowly cutting ingredients. As someone who has worked decades in the food industry this makes no sense. I guess they want the long lines so it always looks busy. The portion sizes, especially protein have gotten a lot smaller. Today, one of the guys working the front (dreadlocks and a white bandana) seemed to be the only one working with a sense of urgency. I felt bad for him, he was running around getting ingredients while helping customers. I was hoping he would be the one assisting me but unfortunately it was a lady who seemed to be new because she was soo slow and didnt know the ingredients and didnt know how much change to give back. She had to call the guy for assistance. When the gentleman came over he was super nice to me and apologized for the wait. Props to him and only him. This will probably be my last time coming here. Overpriced and def not worth the wait. Id rather drive down the street and go to CAVA.

Big fan of Trilogy Sanctuary!! This is a healthy vegetarian restaurant which Id normally stay away from as Im a big meat eater but was very pleasantly surprised in the selection and quality of the food! We got the Radical Ravioliand some kind of wrap and both were excellent!! Like surprisingly good for me!!! Also if youre into Yoga or like that vibe this place is for you!! Only difficulty is parking can be hard to find as theyre in the middle of downtown LA Jolla but you can find something and theyre worth the walk. Overall great place! Highly recommend as well definitely be back!!

Hi,I won't even give it one star.So to start, we were two families together that the cashier decided to split it two receipts and still put us under the same table number.Which it was fine.Came to get our food, we had our daughter wait for more than 30 min and them saying that they don't have the order and after that they said oh, we don't make it anymore and then oh ok, we found the order which was a kids meal. Then the server comes back with only one item from the the whole order saying that was it. And when we explain it to him he came back and brought the rest of the order and was still missing ice cream. At this point we didn't care because all we cared about is us all eating together after our food is been cold waiting on her to get her meal. Now comes the manager yelling at us in of other customers saying that we went inside the restaurant and cursed at his employees. Which we didn't do. And he didn't even give us a chance to talk and ordered us to leave immediatelyI am sorry, but if this is the treatment that your customers should be treated then this is unacceptable.I am looking for an explanation for his actions and a Video of us yelling and cursing at his employees so please waiting on your respond back.
Georges at the Cove

This is a classic seaside ocean view restaurant at surrounded by lots of art galleries. Its actually have some pretty good vegetarian options on the menu. We had the portobello mushroom dishes, amongst other things. They were out of the impossible burger because it was recalled. Additionally if youre sitting on the rooftop expected cool ocean breeze. So if you have a jacket youll be warmer you can also ask for a blanket and theyll hand you one which is nice.

Normally Im not nitpicky, I absolutely love this restaurant even when they mess up. Today was ridiculous though, they had two people on expo that clearly did not know how to operate that station. It was absolutely painful to watch. As restaurant management, please understand that good expo makes or breaks you. Today it very much broke you. Theres no reason for there to be 10 people standing in a lobby. They were calling out names so theres no verifying if people were actually getting the correct order or just saying yes to it being their order. Thats how good easily gets stolen or mixed up which in turn makes things even worse on the restaurant. I shouldnt be watching 30 plates stack up because expo doesnt know how to do their job. Luckily most people arent restaurant professionals so theyre more patient, but Im not. When I see something going terribly wrong it bothers me to my core. Im sure these girls arent bad workers, they just clearly cannot be expeditors. Where is management in this situation? The kitchen is clearly doing fine because my order was ready right on time. The management needs to focus on where the bottleneck is. I shouldnt be looking at my order for 15 minutes because expo is too slow to get to it, or to me to ask me what my order is. This is your prime ticket to making customers angry.
Seasons 52
4505 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92122, United States
During our recent visit to Seasons 52, we were treated to a mixed bag of experiences, ranging from innovative cocktails to inconsistent service. Here's a comprehensive review of our evening:The standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the espresso martini, which arrived in its cocktail shaker, a unique and memorable presentation. This thoughtful touch allowed us to enjoy two glasses of the delicious cocktail each, enhancing our overall dining experience. In addition to the delightful cocktails, we indulged in the stuffed mushrooms as a starter, a savory and satisfying introduction to the meal. Each bite was flavorful, setting a high standard for the courses. For the main course, I opted for the steak, while my friend enjoyed the salmon salad. Both dishes were above average, showcasing quality ingredients and skillful preparation. While they didn't quite reach the level of culinary excellence we had hoped for, they were nonetheless enjoyable. However, the evening took a slight downturn as the restaurant approached closing time. Our server informed us that she would be leaving, leaving us in the care of another server. This transition was handled somewhat abruptly, and we felt a noticeable shift in the level of attention and service we received. As we savored the last sips of our cocktails, the staff began cleaning tables and floors around us, even extinguishing the candles on our table prematurely. While we appreciated the efficiency, it did detract from the overall ambiance and left us feeling somewhat rushed. In summary, Seasons 52 offers innovative cocktails and above-average cuisine, but the dining experience was marred by inconsistent service and premature cleanup efforts. With a bit more attention to detail and seamless transitions between servers, Seasons 52 has the potential to provide a truly exceptional dining experience.
Nekter Juice Bar

On my recent trip to the San Diego airport, I had the pleasure of discovering Nekter Juice Bar, and what an incredible find it was! This place is a hidden gem for anyone seeking fresh, delicious, and health-conscious options. The highlight of my visit was the Acai Peanut Butter Bowl. This bowl was a delightful blend of flavors and textures, combining the richness of peanut butter with the freshness of acai in a way that was both satisfying and nutritious. Its the kind of meal that leaves you feeling energized and ready to take on the day.In addition to the bowl, I indulged in the Green Apple Detox juice. This was a refreshing choice that perfectly complemented my meal. The juice was a harmonious mix of crisp green apple with other detoxifying ingredients, striking a perfect balance between sweet and tangy. Its clear that Nekter Juice Bar uses only the freshest ingredients, as the vibrant flavors shone through in every sip.The atmosphere at Nekter Juice Bar is just as impressive as their food. Ikes Love & Sandwiches
8657 Villa La Jolla Dr #101, La Jolla, CA 92037, United States
I waited 45 minutes to receive my sandwich. The reason why I wanted to eat here was for a fast casual dinner spot.I understand this location is new and popular and they are probably working out some kinks. However, I feel like a simple heads up from the cashier would have been nice. If I knew it was going to be a 45 minute wait I would have gone somewhere else.

Great Vegetarian restaurant! Both the food and drinks were amazing. We had the chicken panini and dragonfruit margarita and the Monarch (made with gin).
