Red Scooter Deli
1102 Pine St, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
We went there on June 5 2021, we placed our order a hour in advance. We were one of three couples that placed an order. Ours went in 1st followed by two others. When we got to the deli they have a counter where they put online orders, to our surprise our order and another order were not there. The order that got placed last was there. We asked about the other two orders and were told are you sure you placed them, I responded well you took the money out of my account with no problem. The girl that was helping me said let me check again after a few minutes she came back and said we found your order and it is being finished right now, it will be 2 more minutes. 10 minutes later I went back and asked again and nobody knew anything about our order. This time a guy asked what we ordered and went back, at this time I saw many people that showed up and just placed there orders getting them. After about another 10 minutes we finally got our sandwiches. The sandwiches were ok not the best we had had from here. I felt that nobody really cared about how bad the service was that poor customer care is just ok. I would not go back to this place again there are other places that are better or just as good with alot better customer service. Mr pickles in San luis obispo has them beat.

Taco Bell
191 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
I had the worst experience this morning at this taco bell. I was waiting to use the restroom I knocked on the door because I was waiting for awhile and no one answered but I could hear someone in there so I waited even longer knocked again and nothing by the 3rd time I knocked a young lady comes out and said Im cleaning the restroom so I told her maybe you should place something on the.door to show you were cleaning it. She began to tell me corporate wouldnt allow her to. I said if thats the case maybe you could leave the door open while you clean or something I was waiting quite a while she said she didnt care I was like really I was shocked no apology no nothing.i just think this was really unprofessional and if it were me I wouldnt want someone like that working for me.

I love Taco Bell! This one near Highway 46 in the freeway is a very nice clean location. You have to go a couple blocks away from the freeway. So. Have faith that it will be there when you turn off the freeway. Taco Bell is just the all-out best fast food. . I actually like the electronic screen ordering thing now. I dont like taking away jobs from people, but when you have the electronic order screen, you can see all the options in very clear Lay out and build an order. Really well. The big screen on the wall does not have that many options. Like the pad thing does. I also have discovered. The blue Baja zero soda. I thought Mountain Dew was my most favorite soda ever. But that Diet Baja stuff is the best! If there is food in heaven when we have our new bodies and were relaxing around the throne, then I think it will be pizza and Taco Bell. ??

Copia Vineyards and Winery and Tasting Room
5076 Mustard Creek Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
This weekend we visited Paso Robles, our third trip this year. We visited a total of 5 wineries, 4 of which we are members. The wineries were - Daou, Tablas Creek, Copia, Torrin, and Denner. Copia winery was new on our list. This trip was special to us for 2 reasons.1) We took our friends with us. It was their first Paso trip. They have been enjoying a lot of the Paso wines with us over last 2 years and I was really excited to have them experience some of the amazing wines at the source.2) The second reason was us trying Copia winery for the first time. The owner and winemaker Virendar had reached out to me via this Paso group extending an invitation to come visit. I love trying new wines and especially small boutique establishments. Also, I was particularly excited for meeting a fellow Indian who shares a common interest - drinking wine. Virendar and his wife Anita hosted us at their vineyard. When we got to their vineyard, we realized that they were hosting us at their home. Our group was so humbled and impressed with their gracious welcome, we felt that we were home having a conversation with friends. Anita had laid out a great cheese spread that paired perfectly with their wines. Their wines, oh my! Absolutely phenomenal!! All 5 of them. Rose, White, and 3 Reds. I was hoping for 2 things to happen at Copia winery. Become a member and make new friends. After spending a little over 3 hours with Virendar and Anita, we achieved both! We all felt an instant connection with both.If any of you visit Paso, be sure to visit Virendar and Anita at Copia winery. They also have a tasting room at Paso downtown. I highly recommend them.

Six Test Kitchen
3075 Blue Rock Rd Unit B, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
Highly recommended for those looking for Michelin Star food (think The Laundry in Napa) at a more affordable price. The outside dining is a bit rustic. But the food i world class.Location: Young, hip, trendy, ultra modern restaurant in an industrial park in the middle of nowhere. In pre-covid times it was conceived being indoors with 12 barstools on a long counter facing the open kitchen where 3 young combination chefs/servers prepared the food in full view of the audience. Similar to a suchi bar.Covid put a stop to that and there are now 4 tables with bar stools, sitting 8, outside in a narrow driveway between 2 industrial buildings. Rustic but very virus-safe. Recommended for the covid timid and at risk patrons who must have that 9 course gourmet dinner. The Menu: Varies according to what is fresh and in season. 1-2 new dishes are introduced daily as produce is available. After a week the whole menu has changed.Ah, the tyranny of choice. No choice here. I loved the fixed menu with a wine pairing. It takes all stress out dining. Relax, and you will eat stuff you never would have chosen or dreamed of existed. And the sommelier chose wines you have never heard of, some very local, some European. All wines fit each dish superbly. Truly a culinary experience. The 6 dish menu (wine pairing in brackets), I had, was more like 9 dishes as follows:1 Salmon belly, dill, sorrel (Mittnacht cremant Alsace)Smoked eggplant, summer quash, basilBeet, plum vinegar, shiso2 Tomato, melon, cucumber, goat cheese (sauvignon blanc)3 Chicken liver pate, nectrine, grilled corn bread (white blend)4 Roasted salmon, maitake mushrooms, creamed corn (Barbera dAlba Superiore Brezza)5 Dry aged pork loin (35 days), shishito, peach polenta (Giornata Aglianico)6 Frozen water melon over white custard? (Meulenhof Riesling Spatlese)Caramelized white chocolate, pistachio, plumCandy capWow! And the dishware is quite unique made by a local artist.See the photos of each dish with a picture of the accompanying wine .Fine dining has arrived to the Paso Robles industrial countryside (Tin City).

AN ABSOLUTE MUST! Stopped by this amazing family owned business on the way down from SF. The food was absolutely phenomenal, feeding a vegetarian, pescatarian, and two meat eaters to the fullest. Had some amazing conversations with the owner and his son/waiter. Really, really sweet people with a genuine passion to serve the finest food. Will 100% be back when passing Paso Robles and can’t wait to indulge in the pleasure of eating at this restaurant again.

Somms Kitchen
849 13th St, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
I love walking into a new situation and not being exactly sure what Im about to experience. I love even more walking out thinking I cant WAIT to tell others that they need to experience this, too!I think if people consider going to Somms kitchen buying a ticket to an experience instead of paying a bill for dinner theyll get far more out of the ride.On March 9, my husband and I were visiting Somms kitchen from Austin, Texas. We had been in Paso for the first time last year before this restaurant opened, so we were excited to try something new on the square. We made a reservation about a month before. When we walked in, Ian told us our spot was at the end of his semi circular bar which had enough room for about 14 people.Ian greeted us and asked, Are you hungry? We stated we were, and he handed us a glass of a most interesting Austrian sparkling wine. We had no menu in front of us, wine or otherwise. There was nothing to suggest what we might be eating, what we might be drinking, how many courses there may be, or even how much things might cost.Im sure we could have asked Ian, but we decided we were in for the ride! For the next two hours we were in his hands as he had us try a local cheese, a foie gras that rivaled that of Michelin starred restaurants, a prime filet, lamb, and on and on...It seemed some people came and went and didnt stay for the whole ride. Im not sure if all the kinks are ironed out there, but it didnt hinder our experience at all. Each course was served with about a half of a glass of wine...unless of course you drank your wine, then more showed up. None of the wines were particularly expensive, but all were particularly wonderful and the best paired Ive ever had with any food ANYWHERE (and not to get all foodie/wine snobby... but weve been to Picasso, Cyrus, Robuchon... the pairing at Somms Kitchen was simply AMAZING!)The whole time we felt as though we were Ians guests. He chatted to us about the wines and the food and how he had prepared each thing. At one point, he stopped and gave us a lesson in wine tasting. It was taught in such a way that novice and experienced wine aficionados a like could enjoy. Ian is an experienced sommelier who teachers wine classes internationally, so getting a chance to experience this was quite a thrill! In the French style, Ian prepared a salad between the final course and the desserts. The salad was so creative. He peeled the quail eggs and prepared it in front of us. He carefully cut and placed herbs from right to left and as you ate, the herbs and the flavors increased in intensity with each bite.We finished with desserts and feeling like we had made friends with our fellow diners and our host. Our final bill was $250 for the two of us. Both my husband and I felt this was truly a bargain. We have paid more for less in the past. Now, for the to be completely honest parts. I would have liked a menu at least when we left if not to follow at the time. Ian did say that I could email him and he would send a menu with all the information. I intend to do that, but it would have been nice to look over it that evening, or even as I was writing this review. Also, Im not sure exactly how he decided who got what food. There was a woman sitting next to me who I ran into twice again in the week while we were there. Each time I saw her someplace else, she was telling other people that she was upset that she asked for potatoes and didnt get them even though some people did. She did not like her experience at all and thought Ian was rude. I thought he was funny and dry. I liked his sense of humor, but I could see where others might find him off putting. Hes a New Yorker, not a Californian... and he still has some of the edge.I also heard some complain about the price. I think ANYWHERE you go 11 courses and 11 half glasses of wine for $125 a person is an amazing bargain... but I understand if youre thinking youre only going to spend $50 on dinner.. this would be a little rough.

Etto Pasta Bar
3070 Limestone Way Suite B, Paso Robles, CA 93446, United States
We went to the restaurant and ordered a take away. It was past the take away cut off time and they were busy with dine in orders over the busy weekend evening. However the staff was kind enough to still make an exception for us They were very friendly and gave us details on what could be made vegan and vegetarian, checked with the chef and gave great suggestions.Food was delicious. Would love to go there for a dine in some time. The ambience looked very nice.

It’s pretty great to have a quick easy vegan restaurant that isn’t like “here is some raw broccoli and carrots in a tortilla”. Sometimes you just want something deep fried and delicious. Or something vegetarian and delicious without having to like do a whole restaurant thing or cook anything. I had a burger here a while back and it definitely satisfied my burger and fries craving. Tonight I picked up some black bean taquitos and cauliflower tacos and both were delicious. it was plenty for two people and relatively inexpensive. Someone else on here complained about the price but this is cheaper than McDonald’s. (I think, I haven’t been there in a while.). I’ll definitely bring my vegetarian and non-vegetarian out of town friends here for a treat. Also, the staff have been really nice both times I was there.
