The wait time for dinner last night was 30-45 min. After checking with the Host to be placed on the list, you are notified once your table is ready to be seated by text.I shopped at the River until my table was ready.I ordered the Blackened Shrimp tacos with cabbage slaw, chipotle sauce. I really enjoyed the sauces within the taco. The vampire style taco was +$2-3 extra to have your taco shell cooked in a layer of cheese with a corn tortilla. Unfortunately the vampire style taco was too hard to bite into and it turned into a fight with your food moment. The taco shell was so hard that it definitely affected my eating experience. I enjoyed the Beans served with the two Shrimp tacos they were well spiced out of the dish and brought flavor to the bland rice. The Spicy Rice served with this dish is a tomato based rice however it has no flavor, nor heat as claimed. The rice was also wet and mushy. The food was filling. I wish I had the opportunity to finish the second taco with the vampire style presentation. I decided to scoop out its contents because the shell was awfully difficult to bite through. The drink my friend had ordered tasted more like a medicine. The Acho Chile Liquor unfortunately didnt pair well with the pineapple in this drink. I think if there was more Coco Real cream that would take away from the pungent unappealing taste. The drink was about $15.A guest in my party that ordered the Chicken strips voiced that the dish had something off about them. They were not able to specify if they were undercooked. However they made it clear to me something wasnt right about this dish. After taking a bite out some notice that the chicken strips like flavor and spice entirely. This was not appetizing. The fries was the only thing enjoyed on that plate.I always enjoy dining at this location because of the stellar customer service and great energy fostered by the staff. I look forward to dining again with family and friends.

Everything was delicious, service impeccable, and the music man was engaging. I’d never seen someone play clarinet and the saxophone simultaneously. The menu offerings during Restaurant Week could have added a vegetarian option but when requested, the chef offered a cauliflower steak plate that was incredible! The soufflé is epic!
In-N-Out Burger
42560 Bob Hope Dr, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
I have applied to this place three different times. The first time was before they ever opened trying to get out of Dominos managment. Then about 4-6 months after opened still trying to get out of Dominos. 6 months after this location first opened I was then invited for an interview. That time I wasnt allowed to pick The day set so manager obviously set the day. I selected the time. Now, as a general manager of a food establishment, if youre in need of staff to hire and your scheduling interviews, things you dont do!1) schedule interviews on a busy Holiday. Why? Because in the food service industry, all holidays are considered the busiest times of the year. Every single holiday should be properly. Staffed just for the holidays alone. Then to add-on the fact that if youre going to put an interview on a holiday, youd better have extra management to take Uber the fact that youre not gonna be able to run in circles with your crew because you, as the manager decided to schedule interviews. I get there 5 minutes ahead of time to let the manager know. And 10 minutes past the interview time and only 15 minute interviews. According to the website interviews only take 15 minutes. If that is the case why was I sitting for 10 minutes after interview time. Remember this is my 1st time being asked to interview. I didnt get to select myself along with all the other applicants. Like the other applicants we are using our time, energy and some how got transported to the location if not walking by foot! As a former general manager of an establishment, I know applicants are looking for work and they could be out of work to wear if theyre not hired next week. They could be homeless begging you and me for change standing in front of 711. So why 10 minutes past my interview time? As a former general manager Im questioning. Do I want to work for a manager? Whos not well prepared trying to run a high volume business. I have experience running high volume domino stores so yes, I have experience with high volume. I have experience working circles around the staff. My last 3 jobs, Im older than some of the younger guys. Are able to perform better and faster with just as good or better quality. So why in and out management decides not to look at my resume and skip the cannabis? Because now theres a law that youre not allowed to discriminate me against my medicinal cannabis use. But I was questioning. Is it common practice as the interview? To just sit there for 10 minutes. And then maybe the next 5 is a couple questions. Okay, thanks for coming by because to be. That is not even a good interview. It makes you question if theyre not well prepared for you to interview. And then looking at all, the employees with sad looks on their faces as if they dont like their manager or their job, it made me double question. Do I want to work at this location now? This is when they first opened. Now getting laid off August 1st 2023 years after this location has opened. I re apply looking for work thinking. Maybe Ill get back into some food service. Since cannabis keeps laying me off every summer. The last 3 years because I was trying to get out of Dominos 30 hours a week during the pandemic. Doesnt help when you dont get to go home. And your bills still pile up trying to get out of Dominos management and their lives and. The support that they dont have for their employees. I just so happened to get a message. Congratulations, wed like to offer you an invite for an interview. Please select your time from the following date. Which was Monday Labor Day like what? General manager schedules interviews on a freakin holiday. Go back to what and I first started mentioning holidays are some of the busiest days in all of food service and no way shape or form. Should you prepare anything other than your schedule accordingly? So years later I go in for an interview and the same exact saying happened. Its not fair to applicants! We sit 10 minutes into our interview time and why didnt I just select 415 instead of 4 to sit til 410? Worst exp. EVER!
The Edge Steakhouse
68900 Frank Sinatra Dr, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
Had a great experience dining here. The view was spectacular especially during sunset. Despite being vegetarian there were still some dishes and side options to choose from. The food we had itself was mediocre as a vegetarian but the staff were great and the restaurant was a fun environment.
Uncle Chai Thailand Street Food
69930 CA-111 Suite 122, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
Heard about this place from a friend and when I had a taste for Pad Thai, I remembered to try it after Googling Pad Thai near me. Glad I ordered Take Out from Uncle Chai! As a vegetarian, I ordered Tofu. Excellent! Some of the best Ive ever had. Definitely will come back here again. Located in the Rancho Mirage Design Center, nice ambiance and staff. Note: Be patient as they are experiencing staffing shortages like all of the restaurants in the desert.
Si Bon
40101 Monterey Ave STE E5, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
Si Bon is one of my favorite places in the desert and never disappoints. I rarely go out to eat and is a social event with friends. We sat outside in the Garden are out back which was cozy and quiet. What I love about Si Bon is that the manager comes to each table to check on guests. As a vegetarian, I had a coffee Americano and the vegetable omelet with Gruyere cheese and avocado. (I should have taken a photo to post!) Please remember to be kind and respectful as restaurants are labor and supply issues.
Kobe Japanese Steak House
69838 CA-111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
I love this place. I used to come here as a child, and I loved the Koi fish. I always did, and, always will, love the Koi fish. The food is excellent. I ordered one roll and it was great. The food passing by also looked delicious. The service is both prompt, yet, individualized. I asked my waiter to serve my drinks prior to my meal, as is my preference. Everything was timed to my liking and I was more than appreciative.I was alone; tending to my studies. I had to get up a few times and the bartender/server was diligent enough to ensure my beverages wereserved directly to me, or protected so they would not be tampered with. This act alone demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and genuine dedication to customer safety. The atmosphere in the bar/lounge is incredible. I am a graduate student, so I was especially pleased to be able to comfortably do course work while sipping a cocktail ? ❤️Perhaps, business professionals or travelers may find this information useful. Moreover, aside from the exceptional service, I must add commentary in regards to the exemplary Valet Service. The valet attendant politely inquired in regards to my sobriety and even offered an open space to reach out if I need help calling a car service.Truly, such a wonderful experience. Appreciate all those that made this a great experience ???❤️
Normas Italian Kitchen
42418 Bob Hope Dr, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
The menu was almost identical as the previous italian restaurant..... we were surprised to find when we received our vegetarian pizza, that the mushrooms we ordered were canned.. leaving the restaurant we asked the owner about the mushrooms and he said yes, we serve canned mushrooms, unless you ask for them fresh, your waitress should have told you.. that is a new one on us.. and when we stopped by today while waiting for something next door at the cleaners, the same answer from the waitress was yes we serve both types of mushrooms, but if you dont ask for fresh, you get canned.. our first and last visit.. their lighting is also overly bright zero ambiance, but better to see your canned mushrooms by.
Rancho Las Palmas Country Club
41000 Bob Hope Dr, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
They allowed us to check in early which was great. Got to our room and no t.v. service usually we wouldnt watch t.v. but it was 108 out and too hot for the overly packed pool. I wasnt about to pay 20 bucks to rent a TV movie. (Luckily the service was back on later that evening.) The pool was disgusting, people were eating while in the water, drinking in the pool and leaving beer cans all over, tons of oversized floats smacking you in the face. The trashes were overflowing and reeked with the heat. We called for a golf cart for a ride back to our room, it never showed. We were told by a valet guy he wont pick us up because we have kids. Even though the front desk offered the service. They had free ice cold water by the pool which was great until I saw people sticking their nasty water bottles right up over the spout to get their free fill. They then sucked all over their water bottle only to do it all over again, not very hygienic. I cant believe that being a spa and golf resort they would allow smoking pretty much anywhere and it was everywhere. This is not a smoke free resort by any means!! There are a ton of smoking rooms by the pool so you are always getting the odor plus people smoke right by the door in and out of the pool. We have been past the Omni in Carlsbad and it looks so nice. This place not so much, we came instead of going to Vegas and it was a bummer move. Planned on staying 3 nights but thinking we will leave after 1 maybe 2 at the most. Very ghetto and not luxury at all. Would not recommend. Oh and to make it worse some girl puked in the big pool and they had to close it. People were wondering if they just scooped it up or actually shocked and cleaned it in time for the movie in the pool. Who knows?!
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews
72-797 Dinah Shore Dr, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270, United States
Small parking lot for this restaurant, in front of it though shares parking from the movie theaters. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked my party size and seating preference. Inside of the building was very clean and the staff was professionally dressed and friendly. We sat at a bar booth and ordered drinks. Tables were clean and there is a kiosk at each table. Our waiter arrived and introduced herself and made us aware of happy hour and specials, very informative.I ordered a beer, miller light in a tall glass for $4.50. They do not have a real good selection of alcohol, im surprised red robins have typically always been that way.I ordered a burger and it was pretty busy. Shockingly wait time was very short! The burger was excellent too. Only thing I do not like is if you get fries with your meal, they give you a very small amount of fried in a small silver holder. Fries with a meal are bottomless meaning you can get as much as you want, just be prepared to ask your waiter multiple times to get more. If they just served a normal chunk of fries like they use to in the past that is typically enough to satisfy your french fry hunger.Prices are great for what is provided, defenitely a good value. Once finished with my meal I could pay with the kiosk and even split the check with guests through the kiosk, as well as enter rewards phone number and what not. This is a great options because one of my pet peeves at any restaurant is when you pay with a card, you have to wait for the bill to be brought to you, wait for waiter to process it, come back and hand it back to write a tip. Usually when im done eating im ready to go and get impatient.Great visit overall with some minor issues such as the lack of fries offered. Not enough to ruin the 5 star rating that they deserve here.
