First visit to Ikes was good. The sandwiches were ok, but customer service THAT 1st time was great that we decided to come back again the next week. 2nd visit will unfortunately be the LAST. I dont know what was going on with the staff that evening of October 11th, but the welcoming experience and good customer skills we got the previous week were just not there this last time. Lady at counter never greeted us, we stood at counter for several mins before she even came to counter, stared at us and said nothing until we said hi. She was repeatedly distracted, socializing w co-worker in food prep area, and it seemed WE the customers were interrupting their good time. As we tried to start telling her our order, she would continue talking to coworker in back, All the while we were in mid-sentence trying to continue telling her our order, cutting uss off when she continued talking w coworker in the back. Frankly it was just strange, odd behavior. This time our sandwich order was missing items and bread was never toasted as requested as well, so that also sealed it for both of us. Its unfortunate because although the product was overall ok, the experience was NOT this time, and thats part of good business too. Consistency is key, but it just wasnt there on our 2nd visit. At least we tried the famous Ikes shop twice. ✌?

First time visitors. The French fries are delicious. The staff, engaging. Hence the two stars. We went April 25th.We both ordered the cheesesteak, on recommendation. Friend had regular, I had the premium cut one. The cheesesteaks were BIG(I only finished about a third of mine, friend finshed half). Full of meat, flavorful. Especially since its vegan. The problem came about 15 mins after I started eating. Worst bloat ever. Stomach felt full of Bubbly rocks. About an hour after that.. Dumping Syndrome (the Bubble guts, but from both ends! Simultaneously!) I stayed on the toilet with a plastic bag, throughout the night, into the next day.Now, HERE is why the get two stars. The fries SAVED them from ZERO. I could NEVER reach anyone by phone to ask what they fabricate their meat from. No answer. No RING. Straight to the person you have called... Im NOT driving back across the bridge ($7), JUST to find out what it was that made me SICK like that. I really wanted to be able to support. Oh well

Strange. I got a shrimp burrito here and it was good. But I just went and got a chicken burrito and it made me throw up. It tasted really strange. I asked the lady about getting a refund and she refused, she didnt even try and offer something else in exchange. I only ate a few bites. I wont be going back here ever again. I dont recommend this place at all.The burrito was much smaller this time. Not sure where the quality and taste went, but its gone now.I went again, and its been a while since Ive gone. I wont have a chicken burrito again, but the shrimp burritos have all been great tasting. But I will say, the 1st one I bought was large, now they are always very slim and dont have the same number of shrimp as before. It makes it hard to come back when things change. Itll probably be a long time before I come back.

I love coming to Surukis because hello, the location is great. I can get all my shopping done & eat sushi?! IN THE SAME PLAZA. They always have specials going on and the Bento Box one is usually a steal. Plus, if youre lucky, youll walk in when their chicken teriyaki is the special and order some shrimp tempura on the side.I always get their handrolls, edamame or their spicy chicken wings (which arent even spicy). They taste so good. & they have daily specials too during the weekday. Monday is $1.99 handrolls, tuesday is 0.99 spam masubis (I believe), Wednesday (I think) is Chicken Teriyaki bowls, and Thursday is their spicy chicken wings. Although a lot of people give this place a bad rep because customer service a lot of the employees here are high school sophomores-seniors, as their first job. & that is no excuse but the place does get packed & busy and the frustration seems to all go to the FOH employees. I asked once why a couple orders came out faster than others and its because they have one chef working on hot food items & another on the sushi. & if theres one person doing each thing, obviously it makes sense why other foods come out faster than others. & when it gets like that, & the hot foods are done, Ive seen the other chef help the sushi maker out.I wish this place was a little big, I know that the place would fill out eventually as it already does. Call in ahead of time & expect your food to be ready in about 20-30 mins during busy hours, or 15 mins during non-busy hours. Plus, I like that this place allows you to customize your bento, not like other sushi places in the area. & you honestly cannot beat their teriyaki sauce. Ive tried other sushi businesses in Vallejo but this one HANDS down has the best sauce. So believe me, the wait is worth it.

I love pizza guys, some of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I live in Vacaville, and they are awesome. The food and the staff are on point. So why a 1 star? Well, this review is for the pizza guys in Vallejo. I tried to call in an order and was on hold for 10 min. Even then, no one picked up. I have worked in customer service before, and I understand restaurants get busy. But instead of keeping someone on hold and not picking up, maybe you should pick up after 3 minutes and ask if they dont mind staying on hold. Also I was told they dont sell the potato poppers in the Vallejo location after going up there. I then called the Vacaville store and was told all store sell them. So Vallejo customer service is a 1 star.

We had intended to eat at the Sonoma location, but their lobby was closed (noon on a Friday), so we ended up here. Everyone was friendly and helpful but they are clearly understaffed, the only problems we had (dining in) were likely due to not having enough people (no ice in the soda machine, slow service). I was really worried after reading some of the other reviews, but everyone who we interacted with was really nice, and no one was just standing around, they were all frantically building burritos and what-not for the pick-up orders. They even offered to fill the soda for us since the soda machine was out of ice. There were no sauce packets out (I assume this is either due to the crummy neighborhood or more likely management figured out they can be cheap as a result of the pandemic), but regardless of the reason, they asked what sauces we wanted so we didnt have to ask. The food was better than expected, my kids got tacos with no lettuce and the tacos came stuffed full of meat and cheese instead of the recommended minimal amout.I couldnt find Nacho Fries on the kiosk...

This place is great honestly with the potential of being even greater. I came here on the perfect day for the first time there was pop-ups going on and it was a live crowd. Menu was a bit limited but the lady up front was super nice and attentive and the people had a great vibe I ordered one of the hotdogs which seemed like a simple little hotdog but it was good and the mac & cheese with the black pepper on top tasted pretty good being plant friendly nothing too special but overall good and maybe you could improve a little more on the portions and presentation style.

This pizza is SO delicious - I especially like the chicken curry!! Wow! I will be craving it!! I would like to suggest that they put descriptions of the specialty pizzas on the website. Then you can make an informed decision about add-ons. It seems that the paper menu is missing some of the pizzas (e.g. the curry). Also, the phone number on the paper menu and business card is not the same as the one on the website. I really like that you can place an order way in advance on the website.

I literally cannot recommend this place more highly!! Seriously, YOU HAVE TO GO!! The food is absolutely delicious, with big portions and very customizable with spice, protein, and egg in the dishes. Their vegan and vegetarian options are amazing and they have a big variety of options for everyone. The people who run this restaurant are truly the kindest I have met. I have ordered out and eaten in many times now and have never had a bad experience. The vibes are impeccable and the restaurant is clean and well kept. There is clearly pride taken in what they do. I recommend this restaurant with my whole heart to anyone who will listen. Please go support these amazing people!!!

My husband and I came here without knowing much. We saw beer and 4.9 star review on google so we hopped in the car - I'm so glad we did! As soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner (we assume, she had that vibe!) and given a rundown of the options for food and beer. We ordered at the counter and headed out back to a great porch area with seating, heat lamps, and greenery! We sipped on delicious beer while we waited for our food to come out while we listened to an amazing eurodance soundtrack over the speakers. The vibe was so chill and cool, and there were clearly regulars present!Overall the beer was a knock out with so many amazing local options, everyone will be satisfied. We also loved love loved the food. It's like bar food but even better. We split the pulled pork Mac and cheese which was so yummy and satisfying. We also split a pretzel with beer cheese that was just perfect. All in all I highly recommend this place!
