Pho Gyu Vietnamese Noodle House
4960 Telephone Rd #102, Ventura, CA 93003, United States
I love the pho here. The rib pho comes with a ton of meat, the broth is delicious, and for only $14.95! Even the chicken pho has a great broth because after all, its always about the soup/broth when eating good pho. Ive had their waygu beef dish and although its yummy- its hardly Vietnamese. They dont serve the traditional broken white rice and thats always a negative with me if youre a Vietnamese restaurant. Ive eaten here a bunch of times and dont plan to stop. I do wish the food came out a lot faster and the wings were a little bigger, but otherwise- Im a regular here.
Pho Saigon

The best Vietnamese restaurant in 805. Their food is delicious and the portions are great. Im sad they removed some things like the egg cake and shrimp tofu cake and I wish they added more traditional Vietnamese cuisines like the egg crepe dish with shrimp (idk what its called)They are popular so it does get busy and theyre closed Sundays and Mondays. But this place is definitely my go to for Vietnamese food! Family owned and consistently delicious.
Pho Oxnard Vietnamese Restaurant
722 N Ventura Rd, Oxnard, CA 93030, United States
10/10Pho Oxnard is Pho-nomenal!Me and my Dad recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Oxnard, a family-run Vietnamese restaurant that exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were transported to Vietnam, with the fragrant aromas of basil and mint filling the air. The Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee were both amazing, and while they didnt offer the traditional Vietnamese percolating coffee filter, I still enjoyed their delicious pre-mixed coffee. The food was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and some of the best Vietnamese cuisine weve ever had. We especially loved the meat vermicelli dish we ordered, which was bursting with bold flavors and tender meat. And the Pho Tai was absolutely delicious - the broth was rich and savory, and the rare beef slices were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.Overall, we highly recommend visiting Pho Oxnard. And when you do, be sure to mention that Otis from YouTube sent you!
Pho So 1

This is a surprisingly good Vietnamese restaurant among many in the area. We had the pho large and a barbecue pork rice dish. The broth in the pho was excellent ~ savory and tasty without leaving a too sweet sweet or salty aftertaste. The meat was tender and fresh. The barbecue pork was plentiful and tender and well seasoned. It went down good with the rice nicely paired with the sautéed green onion. Restaurant is large, spacious, clean and comfortable. The service is personable and efficient. This restaurant has become a favorite for us.
Feu Pho Kitchen

Good Vietnamese restaurant with a few modern, fusion twists. They also use quality ingredients and brand meats. The spring rolls had done extra crunchy fried elements and pickled root vegetables. The the pho is made with beefy broth and oxtail. The cold noodles was also good.

I wanted to like this place but not serving the traditional broken rice at a Vietnamese restaurant is like not serving pasta at a Italian restaurant. Ive never ever ordered a rice plate at a Vietnamese restaurant that didnt have broken rice (mine was served with regular steamed jasmine rice) . And even though my plate looked cute and fancy- there was an unneeded raw lettuce mixture underneath my small amount of pork . The flavor was good but I wasnt impressed enough to want to come back. Plus it took awhile for the food to come out and we were the only ones there. Sorry.
Banh Mi Paris Sandwiches
1413 S Victoria Ave, Ventura, CA 93003, United States
It was my first time ordering here through DoorDash and my experience was TERRIBLE. I asked for them not to add onions to my soup due to food allergies and they just doubled the onions on my order. I ordered a sandwich for my boyfriend and he can’t have pickles so we also asked them not to add those and they did. They weren’t listening to or following our instructions which is terrible customer service. As for flavor, my soup broth was pretty bland and the sandwich wasn’t as good either, it had weird brown stuff in it. Maybe they have new staff? Either way I’m probably not ordering from them ever again I will just stick to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Camarillo. The Restaurant should also add a full description on what is in their menu items.

I love this place. Finally, an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that is clean. They take care of the tiniest details to perfection. Even their water is filtered and accentuated with lime and oranges. The service is incredible. They are attentive. I don’t see them standing around, spacing out. They scan the room to see who needs help. I’ve been to other Vietnamese restaurants and I’ve been ignored. I had to call the restaurant while in there to get them to service me. As a Vietnamese person, I adore and appreciate this restaurant!!!!! It’s a hidden gem.
REDWHITE BONELESS RAMEN
11044 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604, United States
Overall: 4.7/5 (dine in)This place is located right next to a smoke shop. Its a pretty small restaurant with a minimalist design. The food here is all vegan so it blows my mind how tasty everything was. We asked them to do the smoke down for ramen which was pretty cool to experience because you get to take off the top.Their soup ramen comes with soboro (soy meat & tofu), crispy onion, corn, arugula, and alfalfa. I cant believe how amazing this combination work. The only thing that could use some work is the soboro texture. It doesnt resemble ground meat as much as the broth is akin tonkatsu broth.No. 8 Red Hot Miso ($16.95): Delicious and spicy! The broth is full of umami and had so much depth. To think that this could be achieved with vegetables. I talked to the chef who said he believes there needs to be layers to the vegan broth in order to achieve umami. I 100% agree. I ate slowly and literally savored each bite. The noodles were one of the best I had. Perfect texture, bounciness, and taste. I finished the whole bowl but didnt feel heavy or get any uncomfortable bloating. I was so satisfied that I didnt crave anything for days.No. 5 Yuzu Sesame (16.95): How is this flavor even possible??!! Subtle Yuzu flavor but the broth was flavorful enough. Perfectly balanced bowl of heaven.Roasted Miso Avocado ($5.80): This was pretty good but not as amazing as everyone made it out to be.Mac & Beets ($8.80): They give a generous amount of crispy fried onions which is really what gives it flavor. The beet flavor is very subtle. It has the same texture and similar cheese taste as the Kraft boxed Mac & cheese. For the two appetizers, I feel like theyre good to try once but for the ramen, they got me hook-line-and sinker. You have to try this place at least once!

Great pho and sandwiches. No other Vietnamese restaurant has the sandwiches in the area that Ive been looking for in Ventura county for a few years now
