Island Pacific Seafood Market
4833 S Rose Ave, Oxnard, CA 93033, United States
Island Pacific Seafood Market is an Asian seafood and grocery store, with a hot food deli, member discounts, and a great fish selection. You can pick up American grocery staples, fresh whole fish, (at least 20 varieties) mochi, fresh produce, dried fruits and nuts, sushi rice, condiments, seasonings, frozen dumplings, freshly-made meat alternatives, tea, imported candies and gifts, and lots more. This market has great social distancing practices, which you can read about thanks to big signs as you enter. The deli has traditional Filipino dishes, like crunchy chicken skin, Halo Halo, lumpia, porridge with chicken, vegetables and fresh ginger (my favorite) glass noodles, and deep fried fish. You can pick up a party tray, or a few takeout containers of ready-to-purchase hot food, and cold drinks, after grocery shopping. Thanks for the advice and warm welcome Island Pacific Seafood Market! I love everything I bought, especially the garlic peanuts and Ube rice cake.:) (Gluten free)

I wouldnt even give it any stars! I have NO clue how the food is, because I spent $25.99, and never received my order. I searched this restaurant and used the website to place my delivery order. It went through doordash. But the order was delivered I guess (I saw the picture), but it was not my address, nor my front door. When I reached out about what happened, the person who answers the phone was not very helpful in providing any suggestions or anything. Just kept saying to take up with DD. I did. I called doordash, they saw the order and said it was paid to the merchant. I called the merchant back. Well, bottom lineNo food. Out 26 dollars. I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Im new to the area, and thought it sounded good. Oh well, lesson learned.

If you love great service, a clean casual atmosphere and above all delicious Thai food, you will love this restaurant!Service - Our server was gracious, patient and accommodating. I was there with two friends and unfortunately one of my friends was very late meeting us for lunch. Our server (sorry didnt catch her name) was understanding and allowed us to order all together and gave us the time we needed to make our choices.Food - I ordered the Phad Thai, which was delicious, fresh and flavorful. My friend ordered the orange chicken lunch with a green salad and house dressing. The dressing made this simple salad full of flavor with an Asian influence. My other friend ordered the seafood chow mein chock full of delicious seafood consisting of oysters and shrimp among other delicious and fresh ingredients.Check-Out - We requested separate checks as I had a Groupon voucher. Again, the server went the extra mile allowing us to do this with no problem. There were no unreasonable restrictions on the Groupon other than only being able to buy another voucher every 30 days. I find myself counting the days until I can purchase another Groupon voucher so I can continue to eat delicious food in a great Thai restaurant on a budget!

Overall, very average for the one time I went in. The service was decent, but you can tell that there isnt that much business (might be due to location, might be due to Covid)The food... is about average. The rice? For the meal I had, it was AMAZING - very flavorful and cooked in broth (or similar). Everything else was average at best. The meat was over-salted and a bit sour, and you could barely get any flavor from it outside of those two. That said, it was probably meant to be mixed into the rice to be eaten -- which I did, and it turned out to taste pretty good that way. Everything else in the meal was average, with a very plain over-easy egg and a small saladThe Boba was a disappointment though. Overcooked and left standing in liquid for far too long that the boba was practically falling apart due to how soft it became. The drink I ordered was not impressive at all. The presentation was there (I think it was the butterfly or something with the lavender to yellow gradient...?), but the flavor was nothing special as it was practically a very plain and unsweetened lemonadeUnless you are looking for specific culturally styled cooked meal from here, you have other options that are going to be more appealing. General Asian Food? Look elsewhere. Something resembling some very specific South-East Asian cooking for the feeling of home? This may be a pretty decent choice

This place has a great menu. Whether youre into the veggie thing or beef and chicken and seafood, the best Asian Cuisine for a chain restaurant. Weve been to the one in Las Vegas, Woodland Hills, California and Miami, and theyve all been consistently great. Happy hour is the best time to go. you can pretty much stuff yourself with a few appetizers and a couple of glasses of delicious wine. they do have a great wine list. And every time weve gone there, the servers have been super friendly and always serving you in a timely manner.

I get cooks can be rushed during these times, but that doesnt mean they can be careless with food handling. At first I thought this was normal arcadian salad, but I noticed how black and mushy it was after it had a texture like canned spinach. Its gone bad. The salmon was not the best Ive had from Waba Grill by a long shot, it was tough and dry. But this is to be expected once in while in the fast food industry. They also didnt remove the stem of the avocado and the orange tasted as if it had been a couple days since it was cut. For 12 dollars I expect the freshness they advertise, but I didnt get it here.

I know that this location is fairly new, but the quality of service & food has been going down. Im on a high protein & low carb diet. I usually order Half Brown Rice & Half Super Greens, Double Chicken Terriyaki. One day I walked in to order. I noticed that they needed to refill the Super Greens since there were only 3 pieces of broccoli & hardly any greens left. The woman gave me a mountain of rice, & hardly any Super Greens. I have also noticed that the portion sizes of Chicken are smaller depending on who the server is or sometimes location. I understand you are busy & it can be a nuisance to have to cook & refill the Super Greens & the Chicken Terriyaki, but dont take it out of customer by lowering the quality. Ive seen how if there is little Chicken they will split the portions between you and another customer because they havent restocked the Chicken Terriyaki & try to make it look like it is double chicken. Ive seen this happen at two locations. Panda Express is now hit and miss. I prefer now better portions of food at other local restaurant locations now in Oxnard.

First time I came in they refused my 60$ order saying they dont accept 100$ bills while giving me attitude, didnt even offer alternatives or at least an apology... second time I came in there was a different server but again not welcoming to say the least...I ordered for about 5 people and everyones food was cold on arrival, they told me they DONT HAVE GREEN ONIONS at this location?!?!?! What?? they have onions showing on all their advertising pictures in store! On all their menu items literally Thats the first waba Ive ever heard of that didnt have onions... they have the meats sitting on the corner of the grill as they just toss them on for a few seconds and send you on your way so they can go back on their phones already like theyre in a rush or something...if Im paying good money at this place i expect kind service, not being rushed and good quality food with all the ingredients as advertised... unfortunately I didnt get that in my first 2 and only visits to this location.

I came here to get dinner while visiting the area. The place is located inside Island Pacific Seafood Market. Theres a good selection of food. You can choose a la carte, or one of three combos. I chose Combo #3, which I was able to choose 6 different dishes because of the small containers they had. I liked that option because I wanted to try everything. I got Dinuguan x2, Pork Adobo, Pork Sinigang, Sisig, and Menudo. My side, I did half rice and half pancit. I also got Turon, which was larger than I typically seen. It was really crispy and good sweetness. All of the food was delicious. There was so much with the Combo #3 that I had leftovers for a second meal. The place is fairly clean. There were a couple of flies I saw buzzing around. The line was short with 3 people in front of me, but the staff was quick to serve them. There is a seating/dining area in the market to sit and eat if youd like. I would definitely come back for more if Im ever back in the area.
