I visited this location for dinner with my husband it was 4:30 and they were out of almost everything we waited 15 minutes for them to fill it then it took another 15 minutes for them to help us. There was a very long line inside and one of their employees who was working in the drive thru decided it was ok to help her friend that walked in even though she was at the end of the line with at least 7 people in front of them. She went out into the dining room and took their order then rang it up in the drive thru also gave them a discount on their food, she then proceeded to make their food instead of helping the customers that had been waiting over 15 minutes there already. I brought this problem to the cashiers attention and was treated so rudely by the cashier she informed me i cant control my coworkers with total attitude i wanted to slap her. the situation never got addressed then as i paid she tossed the spring rolls i purchased at me and walked away. I did not get the fortune cookies or soda i paid for i was so pissed i left. This is defiantly not the location you want to go to if you are hungry they are rude and take forever.

The spring rolls were really good. My MIL ordered the fried chicken and said it was terrible!! Couldn't eat it. Waitress didn't tell us when she ordered fried chicken all she got was a plate of fried chicken. No rice. No vegetables. Same with other orders. She didn't ask if we wanted a side to go with the meal. They should have comped the chicken and didn't.

Worst experience ever. The serving was awful. Avoid this place if you can. A big bowl of soup was served without bowls for everybody. We had to ask the extra bowls. They never gave the soup spoons too. They were brought later to the extra bowls. By the time they got the spoons, the soup was already cold. They took literally over an hour to bring the main course food. Kids got too hungry and When we asked to cancel the order, the Asian lady who was serving threatened us that they cant cancel the order. She was so rude that she wont listen and walk away for what we have to say. After all this, they got us the entry meal without the side rice. When we asked about it, she says it will be an extra dollar. She is bossing around with the boys in the counter and she wont let the boys cancel the order. When we inquired about the delay, they were boasting the restaurant was full on the other side when there were only guests in one more table other than us. The other side of the restaurant was actually empty with the boxes on the floor. we being the last customers eating, they switched off the AC when we were still eating. Imagine our plight being with little kids especially when the outside temperature was freezing (Around 38 F). Never tell them you are non-locals and you are visiting Placerville. They can surprise you with rude and very much ugly customer service.

For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn't bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I've stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I'm salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I've ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don't think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I've had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn't stop there. Don't like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.

As residents of Placerville, my family and I try to circulate around the local establishments for a dinner out. Unfortunately, up until this evening, we had not been to Shilla. We were VERY impressed. Military family with deployments in Asia, making sushi and other Asian style cuisine difficult to satisfy. The first thing we noticed was the home-made fruit Soju jars at the back of sushi counter (very good sign). The staff were attentive and quick, yet very friendly and hospitable. Once we inquired about the Soju, our waitress quickly offered us a complimentary shot of the pineapple after dinner... which was way to delicious (I could see myself getting into trouble with that stuff :)The cuts of fish were straight up, melt-in-your-mouth, and the prices were comparable to other local establishments. The group behind us were having a bday (they turned on this fantastic bday music on the loud speaker), then continued to share the cake with the rest of the customers. BTW my daughter thought it was the most delicious cake and would LOVE to know where it came from. SHILLA - we will be back soon, thanks for the hospitality on a rainy, windy, Presidents Day night :)

Wow! So much better than i expected, evwn with all the good reviews left here and on yelp. My family usually goes to a different place in placerville to get chinese food. Today, that place happened to be closed. I was a bit wary of trying a new place because you never know what you will get. And buying food for 5 or 6 people,... You want to get something you know everyone will like. After doing some research, and seeing tons of amazing reviews about iron wok, i decided we would go for it. We were not at all disappointed! The food here is nothing short of amazing! No exaggeration. The chicken in the dishes we got was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. Most orange chicken at other places comes out dry and sometimes hard with a lot of little batter pieces to fill it up. Not here! The dishes had chunky, tender veggies too. Everything was super fresh.This will definitely be our new spot for chinese food! If you have never tried it, i highly reccomend you do. You wont be sorry.

We spent two nights in Placerville and ate at Frannys Farm Table the first night and loved it so much, we came back again the second! The French Onion Soup healed our soul, the Portobello Mushroom stuffed with artichokes and bell peppers topped with homemade garlic butter sauce on a bed of spring salad drizzled with balsamic dressing was the stuff of dreams, and the dessert sampler reduced our anxiety of being forced to choose *just* one. The owners and staff gave us such a warm welcome and excellent service all around. Ron, especially, made an impact on our kids and will never be forgotten! Give them a visit, you wont regret it!
Wonderful Chinese Restaurant

We took 38 vegetarians there tonight and this restaurant out performed themselves under so much pressure to serve and please everyone. I cant say enough good things about them and how wonderful they were. We ate family style and everyone was fed well and no one left hungry. And they were so accommodating to divide up all the checks between the entire group. We will absolutely go back there and eat again! I highly recommend them to you! I almost forgot to say how good the food was! Many of our group were former missionaries in Asia and they even said the food was excellent!

Had a blast at the Dry Diggins Festival with the wife! Excellent line up at a nice venue. The fairgrounds are hot so come prepared. Extra water, shade, sunscreen... The facilities were cleaner than could be expected with thousands of people all using them with very little regard. Grounds staff was continually making rounds to ensure paper was stocked and trash was emptied...Filtered water provided, not sure by who but it was much appreciated! Some decent shade under the awnings... lots of awesome booths vending clothing and merchandise. An all around awesome weekend!

Love love love high hill ranch! Pet, baby & family friendly yet still a great spot for couples and friend groups! Handicapped and paved parking. Much of the main area is wheelchair accessible.All of the farms are wonderful but if you have time for just one HIGH HILL offers something for everyone... great place for kids with pony rides, pumpkin patch, hay ride, face painting, candle making, stocked pond, pick your own apples orchard, so many activites and incredible variety and shopping.Plenty of restrooms, porta, potty and indoor facilities where you can wash your hands. dogs are allowed (on a leash) so many cute dressed puppies and dogs were thereThis is the farm that has the apple doughnuts baked fresh everyday and the handmade candy and sweets shop ... the place with DOZENS of homemade FUDGE types.... so fresh so good... The fudge candy shop tends to have a long line, but it is Definitely worth the wait. So many sweets, what makes it stand out? More than any big city candy shop....... most everything in this farms sweets and candy selection is created by hand om farm or locally. So fresh!There are a booths you can get lunch or dinner and lots of outdoor seating and there is a lovely logcabin style restaurant where they serve hot food and an indoor place to sit and eat... my favorite is the piled high with steak...tri tip steak sandwiches Pulled pork sandwiches and much moreFresh pies including one of my new favorites: apple berry sour cream....it has a dutch apple crumble topping.And of course, there is the general store where you can purchase so many varieties of apples, sauces, dressings, apple peelers, pie crusts, dried soups with beans or minestrone etc etc. well as mixes to make your own scones, pancakes, popovers, and other fruit & apple creations at home, as well as pretty much any apple related thing you can think of. .. Beef jerky, cookie kits and tubs of homemade caramel which are soft and delicious! They have many different caramel and chocolate covered apples, and the coating wasnt hard... so tender and easy to bite into.... golden delicious apples dipped into many different carmel and specialty like butterfinger and smore apples yum!!But thats not all.....This farm has so much shopping... its the one with craft fair and vendor booths... most all booths have handmade wares. Beautiful unique and upscale crafted works of beauty and art. Jewelry booths,So many unique items! Handcrafted jewelery novelty gifts, toys, hats and shoes, stained glass and etched mirror, handcrafted wooden cutting boards and other kitchen handcrafted items, amazing artist photogrphs on unique material. Large garden statues, windchimes, sculptures, hand knitted or sewn clothing and accessories for babies, children and adults! Plus a wonderful booth with so many rocks, crystals, natural and some rare...every grade of them; plus semiprecious stones ranging in age, size, quality, Shape etc... polished and rough... loose and with setting ... pendants, rings, Chakra stones, pendulums, crystal balls, stone fossilized extimct creatures, geodes of every size...even a 2+ tall beautiful amethyst one....It is a must visit farm they are open until christmas....
