Panda Express
58493 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
Worst panda express ever! The smallest portion sizes I have seen served at any location. There staff always get my order wrong when I go through the drive thru.I have come multiple times and I need to post this more for my reminder. This location sucks go to anywhere else for Asian style food there are way better places in the area thats not a fast food or chain style restaurant.I would pay the owner of this franchise to order through their own drive thru and ask if they are truly satisfied how they run their business.

They use Joshua Tree Coffee Co, so right away, thats a plus. Cute shop, sparkling clean with local artwork on display for sale. Food was really good. While nor cheap, it was very reasonably priced & made with quality ingredients. But their best asset us the staff. Friendly, helpful, upbeat - and just finally cool. I thought it was self serve (you pay at the counter when you order) so didnt give the tip a lot of thought, just included it with the bill but the bring your food & drink, refills, bus your table & make sure you are ok, so deserve full wait staff tips. Highly recommended- check them out.

A hidden gem, Yucca Sushi and Teriyaki proves to be one of the best Asian-fusion restaurant in the hi-desert area. All ingredients, especially the fish, are of the freshest quality. The staff and establishment are welcoming and hospitable. Presentation for each dish was superb and I recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling or living in the area!

I love Last Word Hospitality restaurants to the moon and back but this ain't it.We sat down at 7:15, ordered at 7:25, first appetizer (marinated cucumbers) landed on our table at 8:25. This is royally messed up on so many fronts I don't even know where to start. Maybe it's worth pointing out the 20% mandatory service charge in every check that I dislike with all my heart, yet still agree to support Last Word Hospitality restaurants and always gladly tip, but paying extra $40 for waiting an hour only to get marinated cucumbers that should've been served 10 minutes after accepting the order is straight up robbery. We didn't ask to take the service charge our but I've never been closer.3 of the 7 dishes we ordered were sold out at 7:25. What?!! Isn't this a restaurant where you know, you get food that's on the (very limited) menu? Never seen anything like that and will never understand how a restaurant can be our of vegetable fried rice.My cocktail was delicious.Food was okay. Above expectations for the location, but nothing to come back to.Toilets were tired and beat up and definitely not a match to the restaurant price level and cooking ambition. I don't go to dinners for toilets, but the contrast of a $17/cocktail restaurant with a dive bar restrooms just felt…odd?I will never be back that's for sure. Big yikes, Last Word people.Updating my review with a note that there's a lawsuit against Last Word Hospitality (mostly LA restaurants) accusing them of withholding tips that they bill as a 20% service charge. I don't think I'll ever go to any of their restaurants, even though I'll miss Found Oyster dearly. Biggest of yikes, Last Word people.

This is a gem of a place I found here. If you are looking for a great Asian Restaurant/Korean Restaurant, come to this place. I ordered a Kimbap and soft tofu soup and it was awesome. Plus they gave me a ton. They gave me more than double the normal order Id get in the LA area. Plus they gave a lot of side dishes as well. The place is spotlessly clean too. It is so awesome Im writing this review as I eating. Im gonna be extremely full when Im done here. Come try this great Asian Restaurant for yourself. You will be happy you did.

Good China Star

Substantial room for improvement exists. The positive is that your dollar buys a lot of weight. The negatives deal with everything else:- Lo Mein was tasteless and consisted of three ingredients: cabbage, oil, and unnaturally orange noodles. Unfortunately your container is at least half Lo Mein or Rice. I regret opting for only Lo Mein by passing on the fried rice, that is at least harder to make inedible.- Spicy Orange Chicken was neither spicy nor mostly chicken. After the first two bites I started dissecting each piece to find the chicken buried beneath the copious amounts of fried batter. My findings were that only the larger pieces even had any chicken in them, and it was only barely detectable and completely dried out at that. The medium and smaller size pieces were completely breading. Chicken isnt even expensive and that many pieces of pure fried batter should never make it out of the kitchen. In terms of spice: there was none. I eat Chinese all over the country and I cant recall a place messing up a chicken dish this badly.- Pepper Steak was better than the other two but only just. The onions and green bell peppers were not over done or underdone, so thats something. The beef itself was slimy in texture and just about the most chewy grizzly piece of beef I have tried to eat in recent history. You do get a decent amount of beef in the dish but I was left wishing I didnt. This was all capped off with a cup of runny forgettable sauce.A look into quality vs quantity needs to be looked at seriously here. Everything screamed lowest dollar option possible. Please reduce the amount served by a third and put some edible food in the container instead. At $9.69 the highlight of my 2 choice dinner was the can of Coca-Cola I had.

Thai and Lao Cuisine
57069 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
Very Poor service and the food can definitely be skipped. Their are many more places that genuinely have tasty food in yucca and this is not one of them. I wouldn’t be writing this if the response to my complaint wasn’t so poorly handled as I could have forgiven the pad Thai dish that was so bland and only tasted of overly sweet tamarind. There was no trace of any of the aromatic savory flavors that Thai and most Asian food have. The person who’s attention I brought my complaint to was very reluctant to do anything or offer something else and blamed it on me stating I just wasn’t familiar with their cuisine. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. She then proceeded to go to the kitchen and talk very loudly about me and my issue to the cook who was apparently her mother. The whole experience was just bad work ethic from people who clearly did not understand the importance of customer service For small family owned restaurants. Not to mention a woman that came in who was clearly on having some sort drug induced mental breakdown was sat on the table near us just made it that much worse and unenjoyable. As we walked out another pair of customers stopped us outside and said they were glad we spoke up as their food was also terrible and that they would not be going back their as well. Do your self a favor and skip this place lol.

Carls Jr.

The general manager here, has a very ugly soul... He should NOT be in the position in which role he has taken... it is evident by the experience in which I had with him last night, that he makes his employees feel extremely uncomfortable by his own actions, and the things that come out of his mouth, and being the fact that Im a GUEST and had to also bear witness to the atrocities, I have reached out to corporate and have a mind to post the engagement on Instagram, where Im verified!!! It baffles me that people behave in ways that seems to hold no accountability to their actions, but noting that theres only 28,000 plus individuals in this Valley, youd think this person would have better customer service skills, and ways in which to interact with their customers to bring forth better experiences for all parties involved??? all it takes is one person to make a change that the community deserves, even if that means the business itself shuts down and another one takes its place... its that easy... example; somebody could take a photo or video, post it online, and just that quickly, that business could lose one dollar, to 400 plus million in lost Revenue... so what makes you think that Im not that voice???

Little Caesars Pizza
57554 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
I have never dined at Little Caesar's before due to the fact that my Italian stepmother never allowed me to have such “disgraceful ideas of Italian food”. Turns out, she was trying to help me when she did not allow me to go to Little Caesar's as a kid. The worker who served me was absolutely revolting. She had to weigh about 650 pounds, and when she walks she would drag one foot behind her as if she's paralyzed?? Her forehead drenched in sweat, as the fat buildup would jiggle when she walks. Though she had such a slow pace, it would still jiggle because her body is probably not used to moving so much within her 5 hour shift that she works at Little Caesar's. The sweat on the rest of her body was glistening on her pale but sunburnt skin. This woman is the example of obesity. I was very scared and almost wanted to leave the entire establishment. I told this woman I wanted a cheese pizza, and she seemed excited by that very statement. I could see the drool building up in the corners of her lips. She had a smirk on her face, and slowly went back to the kitchen. I waited like 20-30 minutes for them to produce this pizza, and the only topping was cheese! After 30 minutes have passed, she comes back with one leg being dragged brutally across the floor as her other leg remained completely fine. The entire time my pizza was being prepped and cooked, I could hear loud breathing from the kitchen. When she finally reaches the register, there are sweat stains all over her body and clothing. The knees are sweaty, arms, legs, no neck, ears, lips, EVERYTHING! She hands me the pizza box, and it strangely feels very lightweight. Almost as if the box contained zero pizza, not even a crumb. The pizza box was also very wet and warm, it was disgusting. I look up at this woman after touching the wet spots on my pizza box, and she does not even get panicked. Not a single expression in her face, was anything that indicated she was nervous about what she had done to my pizza box. But the worst part is, THIRTY DOLLARS for a lightweight sweaty box. I leave the restaurant after spending an excessive amount on this “pizza” in the box. I open the box, the only slice remaining had been halfway finished. Destroyed, DEVOURED. The crust had nibbles taken out of it. There was barely any pizza attached to the crust by when this woman was done with it. There was grease stains on the box, and ranch which had obviously been poured just on the box and not even on the pizza itself. She also gave me a ton of condiments in the box, in a pile next to the devoured slice left. Almost an attempt to hide it. I go back into the filthy restaurant, where I see this woman interacting with the next victim. In the box, there was also a large pile of uncooked cheese. I go up to the woman again, interrupting her taking the order which she probably will not even follow. So I ask her, “what is this?” The only thing this obese, pudgy, ugly, stinky, sweaty, revolting, atrocious, albino, white trash woman has to say is “What?”. Again, I ask her. “What is this?”, all she has to say to ME, a valued customer, is “that's a pizza bro I don't really know what you're talking about.” Outrageous!
