Chesters Asia Chinese Restaurant
2216 Pickwick Dr #6410, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
When I crave Chinese food, I immediately think of Chesters in Camarillo. The relatively plain exterior belies the colorful, eclectic and elegent interior. Staff magically appear when you close your menu, and are ready to order. And the food is not Americanized; the authenticity shines through in every bite. I am addicted to Shrimp with Lobster Sauce; Chesters makes a brown sauce, which is full flavor which compliments the yummy shrimp. Most Chinese restaurants Ive visited offer a white sauce, which is too bland and flat.Chesters hot and sour soup is hot and sour and oh, so comforting.I keep telling myself Ill try other dishes; too bad, Im hooked. This is the place to go if youre craving Chinese food; its been a favorite in Camarillo for 50 years.
Peking Inn Restaurant
330 N Lantana St #31, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Peking Inn is one of the Chinese restaurants we frequent in Camarillo. They accommodate large groups and we usually have 10 or more people when we go. The food is very good and comes in large portions so the is always enough for everyone. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

New review:This place closes at 9:30 pm. I got there around 9pm. They were out of everything. I wanted to order 3 big plates for 3 individuals. I told them that they can make 2 meat dishes with chow mein and they can double on the items.Food was overcooked, almost burned. Too bad I didnt check it there. By the time I came home and started eating, the restaurant was closed. I couldnt eat more than 10% of what was ordered. I took the food back the next day. Manager and shift leader saw the food, acknowledged that it was burned and that it shouldnt have been given like that to a customer. They replaced the food. They were nice enough not to charge me anytime extra. No regard for the time loss and the fact that I couldnt eat the dinner for the time it was ordered for.Past review:This location of Panda Express was OK. Their other Camarillo location is better. There are certain entrees which they run out fast, and I dont mind waiting a bit, but this store took a long time, about 20 mins, to prepare it.
Sesame Garden
1775 E Daily Dr STE G, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Ive been to many Chinese restaurants in my life and Sesame Garden is definitely one of the best. Not that price is all that important ( as long as food is good) but they definitely have the best prices here in Camarillo..especially the lunch specials and those are big portions. I have dined in many times but have made countless amount of to-go orders..Im normally on a special diet so theres never any problem with my special requests. They have by far the best wor wonton soup..most places are mostly broth but they definitely load theirs up with meat veggies and wontons..but my special diet tries to avoid carbs so I always ask for 1 wonton in each container but its still loaded with everything else. The lady that works there always takes care of my special orders. Ive loved every dish that Ive tried but my favorite is their hot braised shrimp and Kung poa 3 flavor( minus the mushrooms)

Great variety.Great costumer service, fast and friendly.Only down is no fountain drinks. But they do have bottled drinks.
Hunan Garden
5241 Mission Oaks Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93012, United States
One of the worst Chinese Restaurants, and worst decor I have experienced ever!I ordered Pork Dumplings for a appetizer, it arrived about 10 seconds after I ordered it, they were doughy and stone cold inside. My wifes fish dish with ginger and scallions, the fish was tasteless and greasy and hardly any ginger. My main course was almost OK. The restaurant itself had boxes stacked up against the back wall and on some on the seats, there were ornaments and stuffed children toys strewn around and one of the restaurants staff was seated in one of the booths on his cell phone for the duration of our meal.........YUK!
Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors
660 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010, United States
Pick Up Stix appears to have gone through many reinventions over the years and version 2021 is just not very good.I assume the Pad Thai was missing peanuts as an error but overall the sauces just werent very good. I did get a side of teriyaki sauce as I anticipated that I may need to add an extra flavor and that was not good either. Everything seems to be vinegar based and unlike the competition PuS (unfortunate abreviation) just have inferior flavor profiles & sauces. Panda Express can have consistency issues but arguably their teriyaki sauce is good enough to cover up many sins! PuS sauces add nothing, only detract and add a flavor that is not so nice.May have been unlucky with my menu choice but nothing about it gives me any desire to go back!
Mom Wong Kitchen
45 Rincon Dr, Camarillo, CA 93012, United States
Hidden away at California State University Channel Island (CSUCI) Town Center is this family ran Chinese restaurant. Recently I tried for the first time while visiting my daughter and it really blew me away. All the dishes are as authentic as it gets! Noodles are freshly made right there! Too bad I live out-of-state, otherwise, I would eat here daily. FYI, its open to the general public and parking is free.
