I have no idea why it took so long to find such a good Chinese restaurant. The Peking duck dish is excellent.

Made large order online for pick up at dinner time. Spring rolls were good. Have never previously had wonton soup but this had alot of vegetables, but the wontons were kind of huge (not bite size) & sadly were not appetizing in anyway & one bite was more than enough. The northern vegetable chow mein was a large serving & was good. The Lemon chicken was unusual in that the chicken was breaded baked (?) and then slice, laying in a bed of typical lemon sauce. That was ok, but the breading separated from the chicken and so was not really that great texture wise & really bad to eat reheated. The fried wontons were also something new to us. They had a cream cheese and slight seafood (?) creamy center. They were great. the Cashew Chicken was on the greasy side with oddly shaped & chicken pieces that were unappealing in texture. It also had disappointingly few cashews. The Canton salt & pepper Sea bass was very good. The fried Rice was a generously large serving & they did not skimp on the vegetables! It had egg as well as some bits of broccoli and small slices of zucchini added to the usual peas, carrots & corn. Sadly, the Shitake mushroom chicken was inedible. Greasy & the flavor was so bad that although all of our party loves chicken, mushrooms & snow peas, we didnt swallow any of it, but threw it out. This was our first time eating food here & felt that the portion sizes were matched well with the prices, and we might get food from here again, but would probably stay with the things we had tried & liked. we picked up our order for take out, but the inside of the restaurant was nice & inviting.

Incredible Chinese Food! My wife and I recently moved to Folsom and the first thing we always do when we move somewhere new is find the best local food spots. This is our absolute FAVORITE Chinese restaurant! The food is incredible, the staff is very friendly, and they are very fair on the price. Definitely stop by if you want Chinese food!

Lotus 8 Asian Cuisine
199 Blue Ravine Rd Suite 100, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
One of the few Chinese restaurants in Folsom that serve authentic Chinese food. The lunch menu is great value for money and the a la carte menu has a variety of other less well known dishes that are more popular in Asia, and very well executed. Service is a bit slow because theres only one server.
Panda Express

I am not getting food here anymore. I used to be an employee here and it has changed so much since. Today for instance I made a large online order but it wouldn't let me change the time to later. I called over 20 times as well as my family memeber to try and change the pickup time but nobody would answer. I decided to go in and tell them and when i got there, my order was sitting on the counter. The woman who approached me looks like she has done meth the last few years and her attitude belongs at mcdonald's. Panda was a nice place until people like her started working. I have never been treated so poorly by a fast food worker and I was appalled. She yelled in my face and said to take the food or they will refund it and all i asked was that they remake it at a later time. She said they would let it sit under the hot lights until i was ready to get it but i told her no. She then called the assistant manager while making faces at her peers acting like i was crazy when she needs to look in the mirror. I tried not ti cause a scene and then after her phone call with the manager, she said so…thai food is all trash then? So i said yes i guess so, but that is your fault. If they had answered their phone they wouldn't have wasted so much food. I am contacting the manager tomorrow because this is unacceptable. I had to reorder to another location because i have a feeling she was going to do weird things ti my food. I have had previous problems with her flirting and harassing my underage friend in the past but this really did it for me. The manager needs to get rid of her.

Red Hot Chilli Pepper - Folsom
2791 E Bidwell St #100, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Folsom, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Snehal, the manager, has truly worked wonders in creating a unique and vibrant dining experience. What sets this place apart is not just its Indo Chinese cuisine but also the warm and inviting atmosphere that permeates the entire establishment.Being the only Indo Chinese restaurant in the Sacramento area, Red Hot Chilli Pepper has carved a niche for itself, and I must say, its a niche well worth exploring. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a welcoming vibe that instantly made me feel at home. One standout aspect of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Praveen, an exceptional waiter who went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. His fast and friendly service added to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. Now, lets talk about the food—a true highlight of my visit. I started with the TROPICAL LYCHEE MARTINI, a delightful concoction that blended the sweetness of lychee with the kick of vodka. It set the perfect tone for the culinary journey that followed. The Chilli Chicken, ordered at medium spice level, was an absolute winner. Cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spices, it left my taste buds dancing with joy. Following that, I indulged in some vegetarian momos that were a burst of flavor and texture. The softness of the momo paired with the delicious filling made it a memorable dish. The Calcutta Chicken transported me straight to the streets of Calcutta. The authenticity of the dish was unparalleled, and I appreciated the chefs dedication to preserving traditional flavors. To wrap up my meal, I opted for the detox tea—a refreshing and healthy choice that perfectly concluded the culinary journey. The attention to detail in both food and beverages truly sets Red Hot Chilli Pepper apart. The ambiance of the restaurant is another noteworthy aspect. Its evident that careful thought has gone into creating an atmosphere that complements the dining experience. The result is an ambiance that enhances the joy of savoring each dish.In conclusion, my experience at Red Hot Chilli Pepper was nothing short of fantastic. Im already looking forward to my next visit to indulge in more of their delectable offerings. Kudos to Snehal, Praveen, and the entire team for creating a culinary haven in Folsom!
