Panera Bread
3013 W Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92545, United States
This was a really awkward and chaotic Panera to eat at. Also very time consuming. The cashier seemed new and probably should have shadowed under someone a bit longer for training. She didnt know what the options were for kids meals sides and wanted me to ask the food servers once the meal was made. She told me she thinks the total was about $18.77, while I was looking at the screen and it said total $20 something. She had to ask for help on how to ring up my gift card and so I decided to ask the second girl what the total was because of how she was guessing my price to pay, and it was in fact over $20 like the screen said, not what the cashier was guessing...it probably took well over 5 minutes to order and pay while people were standing behind me in line to order. The whole place looked like it was under construction and spotted some pretty big hazards. Im not sure how the place was actually open for business. Paint spots were everywhere like something was in the process and the whole bench seat was lifted up, [I took pictures but google doesnt allow me to post but they are on yelp;] tile was showing where carpet used to be and the baseboards were peeled back. Not only did it look ghetto but Im pretty sure these are some sort of health/safety standards. The original cashier was nice enough to clean our table and pick up the plates after which I dont really count as extra or great service but really the whole process and experience could have been A LOT better. And nice doesnt pay my bills but efficiency and great service is why I go out to eat. Also over $20 JUST for a you pick 2 - brocolli cheddar soup & mac & cheese plus a kids mac and cheese is crazy. No drinks or any extras just a kids mac (which appears to be the same size as adult mac) plus the 2nd mac n cheese and the soup and thats over $20. Thats pretty crazy, Panera.
La Cabana Taco Shop

$1.00 soda refills. No exceptions. I used to be a regular customer, eating lunch with my friends 3-5 days a week. My bill was always over $10, often $12 or more, not including a minimum $2 tip. My friends, 2-5 each visit, would often be close or the same, not including tip. I asked the woman, who along with her husband, own the place, if I, as a regular customer who has been a regular since before they bought the place, could have an exception and get my soda refills free. I told her that the fact they even charge or refills is unusual, since no other place in town does it. All she said was a quick and dismissive Sorry, basically blowing me off as though I was asking for something extraordinarily difficult or odd. I explained that since I, along with my friends, think that $1 or that any charge for refills are excessively expensive. Again, the response was another dismissive Sorry. As much as I will miss the good food, I wont miss the exorbitant cost of what, in my opinion, should be a free item, along with things like salsa or chips, and have, along with my friends, decided to visit less often, or not at all, based on her unnecessarily blunt and absolute response, If the owners feel that the charge is just business then I/we feel that my/our taking our hard earned cash somewhere else, where the food is just as good, but the refills are free, is just business for my/our wallets.

This is a wonderful Japanese bar and restaurant in Hemet. Fantastic food, and reasonably priced. We came in the day after the seating was remodeled and it has a lovely atmosphere. We ended up having the udon, with edamame, and at the owners suggestion the char siu tacos. The edamame was what you would expect, served warm with liberal salt. It went very welt with the beer. The char siu taco was absolutely delicious. It was presented with an egg that practically melts in the mouth. The pork was outstanding as well, very soft and flavorful, complemented by the shell and cabbage. The udon is some of the best I have ever had. It was so much food, too, for the price. The staff there was excellent and the owner was very friendly and talked about plans for the location. I certainly will be back. its a wonderful little place we went to on impulse.
PON NOODLE

I came here for lunch on my birthday a month ago and had a fantastic experience. The food was really good and so was the Mango passion fruit tea. I've came back a few times and gotten a Togo orders. Honestly the food is always fresh to order and the ingredients are good. I recommend this place to everyone. Not only if their food and customer service amazing but they're also really nice. Yesterday father' day Sunday we were a few doors down buying ice cream. The ladies at the ice cream shop delicias michoacanas denied my 4 yr old niece to used their bathroom. Not only were they rude about it even though we were buying a lot of things from them. We ended up walking out and going down the street. My sister in law brought my niece here and was able to use the restroom without having purchasing anything. I'll continue coming here and supporting this business. thank you for being kind.

The food has really gone way downhill. Not the same as it was when I first tried here its so sad. And whatever you do do not doordash these sandwiches to your home. I have a feeling even if I came in to eat. Though the meat was still taste like m. s. g. On the french dip. The pastrami was nothing to rave about drowned it in mustard. Whatever you do dont order friday soup. Is chicken and dumplings and it doesnt even come with one whole dumpling. Taste like Tap water. I cant help but be so bitter right now. On the fact that I just spent fifty dollars on your restaurant and threw it all in my trash. And when contacting doordash they didnt do anything for us. Im so disappointed and deeply saddened I wish they had better restaurants in hemet.
La Morenita Mexican Restaurant & Seafood
917 E Florida Ave, Hemet, CA 92543, United States
The food here was by far the best Mexican we have had yet! The first time we came here it was shortly before closing and the staff was very friendly, we tried the beef taquitos and they were delicious! So we decided to come back for dinner and had more taquitos and the carne asada plate with a cheese enchilada to split. They also brought chips and salsa to the table. All of the food was fresh and tasty, the salsa, guacamole, and enchilada sauce were subtly spicy and flavorful. The chips were crunchy, thick enough to support the salsa and not greasy. The carne asada plate has beans and rice that were so good, the beans were smooth, and it came with its own guacamole and some very tasty strips of carne asada. The taquitos not only had guacamole and sour cream but also a cilantro cream sauce and a sprinkle of cotija cheese, just over the top tasty! In addition to that we had some of the best horchata there as well. They also have the soda in glass bottles, both the jarritos and the Coke from Mexico in the tall bottle. When we came in there for dinner, the staff was very friendly and amazing once again as well!
Abbys Cafe Hemet

Me and my friend Anthony ate this morning. This waitress who is the tallest lady there and skinny brought napkins to our table that had boogers on it. Also I asked if they can make crepes. She replied, “We have nothing that you want”.How rude ! After We left I called to speak to the manager and this same waiter answered and says she is the manager.. she identified herself as kelly. So I asked Kelly why she would do something disgusting like that? She claims she didn't see what she put on the table. But when I brought my other friends who are Hispanics and Caucasian she didn't act rude with me before the other times I ate there with other friends. she act rude when I brought my friend who is an African -American. Sad because I eaten here numerous times due to that this behavior that is disgusting ? and unacceptable I will never eat here again. I hope the owner reads this and please have a talk with her that is so gross though she apologized on the phone, I wanted crepes but they can't make it so I ate waffles instead but she was rude no, we have nothing you like. She says as she claimed she wasn't rude but only joking. She might as well say I'm not welcome there cos you don't tell your customer that . Joking or not it's just rude plus how she said it I'm not her friend she has no idea how I take that other than how rude it sounds. She don't know me well to be joking like that
D J Restaurant
567 N San Jacinto St, Hemet, CA 92543, United States
This is one of the best family-type restaurants in Hemet, with ample parking, excellent cuisine, and reasonably fast service. They have a special prime rib dinner, that may be the best I have ever had, and we also went there for their cabbage rolls special for St. Patricks Day weekend, for which even the soup was excellent. They are not particularly service dog friendly, but did allow a service dog to join us, as long as it was under the table.
