Panera Bread
12241 Seal Beach Blvd, Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
Very disappointed in grilled cheese sandwich. Tasted like ‘rubber cheese’ and ‘rotten cow’ likely caused by dirty grill using rancid oil or grease. Need to clean the grill better and more often. However, Autumn squash soup delicious. Bread bowl for soups great. Hate their mustard. We only like regular mustard, French’s the best. Tea’s are great! Friendly service. But wish condiments were readily available. Don’t understand why individual packets not available even if covid. Restaurants should be able to put a dozen out every hour or so. Love the outdoor seating options allowed during covid. Hope regulations allow outside seating to be a regular part of service.

California Pizza Kitchen at Rossmoor Center
12171 Seal Beach Boulevard, Rossmoor Center Way, Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
California Pizza Kitchen when it first started it was a concept executed without blemishes. Individual fresh made pizzas with, at the time, were truly innovative ingredients. There were many to choose from, among them a very tasty Duck pizza, it was truly an Avant Garde type of place, there was a lot of traffic, the place always crowded, as if people had recognized and embraced the innovative cuisine. Of course, everyone and their cousin in the pizza business started taking notice, and now we have the so called high end pizzeria, which most are a joke served in a fine table and a sure high tab.We stopped at this CPK (the cool abbreviation they try to promote), 3 of us, and had the following dishes:Fish Tacos 11.79: who would order fish tacos at this kind of place? Apparently one of us did and did not like it, someone else end up eating these two tacos. Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi (barely any), shredded cabbage and house made ranchito sauce. Served with chips, a very so so salsa.2 Stars.Jamaican Jerk Chicken $13.59. This one is described as Spicy sweet Caribbean sauce, authentic Jamaican spices, Nueskes applewood smoked bacon, red onions and bell pepper. Eater finish this creation in two stages. One at the table, the other half at home next day. 3 Stars. The Meat Cravers $14.59. Describe as Macho pizza loaded with Italian Sausage (loaded meaning a total of 4 pieces), pepperoni, applewood smoked ham, spicy Capicola ham and salami. Let me say that there were more open spaces that I though were possible in a pizza, so loaded is baloney, most meat average and extra salty, a sad pizza. 2.5 Stars.Server very cordial, coffee continuously cold. Price for everything over $50 plus gratuity.Still people will roll in and out, you can stop consumer frenzy and all the ads. 2.5 Stars.

Catrina Cafe
330 Main St unit f, Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
I really don't like to leave negative reviews, but thought it would be important to leave this review as a warning and as feedback.I visited this restaurant after reading many positive reviews and was excited to try the breakfast burrito. I ordered the burrito to go and sat down to wait for it after being told there would be a 20 minute wait.About 5 minutes into waiting, two women came in, saw me sitting at the table, and then asked the host if they could have my table. There were other tables available where they could have dined, yet the server came to me, also a paying customer, and asked me to wait outside. Again, there were other tables available. This is concerning to me as the only black customer in the restaurant at the time. It felt as though my patronage was not valued, and personally I refuse to pay for service that sends that message.I ended up getting a refund and plan to go Ubuntu Cafe instead.

Sunny Side Cafe
2940 Westminster Blvd., Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
Sunny Side Café: Where Breakfast Dreams Come True! You've got to experience Sunny Side Café! It has a hometown diner charm with upscale modern allure.I had the Eggs Benedict, which is usually a dicey proposition. Too often eggs end up rubbery, and you have small portions that leave you hungry. But not here! Picture this – a harmonious blend of perfectly poached eggs nestled atop a bed of savory breakfast ham, adorned with lemon-infused hollandaise sauce, and just a hint of paprika to tantalize your taste buds.My brother had the Sunrise Breakfast Burrito which was bursting with the goodness of fluffy eggs, crispy hashbrowns, and a melange of Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, all enveloping savory sausage, its a flavor explosion you wont soon forget. Now, lets talk ambiance. Sunny Side Café strikes the perfect balance between cozy familiarity and modern sophistication. The staff, especially the waitresses, are nothing short of phenomenal – embodying the epitome of friendliness and efficiency with the warmth and hospitality that feels like a warm embrace from your favorite auntie or your beloved mom.And the music is the perfect backdrop to your dining experience – upbeat and cheerful without being overpowering, creating just the right atmosphere to start your day on a high note.In conclusion, dining at Sunnyside Café is not just a meal – its an experience. From the impeccable food to the inviting ambiance and exceptional service, every aspect is meticulously curated to ensure you feel pampered and satisfied. So, if youre craving the best breakfast youll ever encounter, look no further than Sunnyside Café. Your taste buds will thank you!I am glad we stumbled onto this place. We will be sure to return here the next time we visit Long Beach!

Koi Japanese Cuisine
600 CA-1 #100, Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
Although this was my first time here, this was my guests go-to Japanese Cuisine. The restaurant was packed but we were lucky to get a booth fairly quickly.Food:Sashimi Dinner plate was filled with fresh cuts of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, whitefish, and clam. It also came with a bowl of miso soup, salad, and rice. This was more than plenty to fill me.Teriyaki Salmon plate was delicious! Just the perfect amount of rice, salmon, and veggies. This meal also came with a bowl of rice, miso soup, and salad.Appetizers:Baked Mussels was delicious! The sauce was creamy and abundant. Personally, it was a little on the salty side for me, but the extra sauce made for a great dip for the fried calamari we ordered.Fried Calamari was lightly coated in tempura batter and deep fried to perfection! It was the best fried calamari Ive ever had.Chawanmushi was quite delicious! This had to be ordered first since it takes about 10-15 minutes to make, but so worth the wait for!

Nicks Deli
223 Main St, Seal Beach, CA 90740, United States
I discover this place three years ago while walking down Main Street. Some may refer to this as a hole in the wall. Hidden between a garden & several others stores this place can be easily missed other than by locals & for people who have heard about this place word to mouth.A cash only place ran by the same people for years. Great, friendly & fast service. Good amount of seating in door & few outdoor, this place is a recommended try for anyone who is looking for breakfast burritos to lunch sandwiches.I, myself like the breakfast burrito made spicy. On of the top breakfast burrito place on my list.Parking on Main Street is free & can be hard to find so be prepared to drive hour to look for it specially during business hours.Try the breakfast burrito & let me know your thoughts.

Old Town Cafe

Great spot for a quick sit down breakfast, with yourself, couples, or family! Friendly service.Lots of food choices! Breakfast menu had a variety of items. Waffles and french toast offered a lot of delicious toppings. My husband got the belgian waffle with nutella and bananas. It was big, nice crisp, and an abundant amount of banana slices plus the drizzle of Nutella. It looked good. I had a chicken Cesar salad. Chicken was grilled perfectly, not dry or tough. Good portion. My son ordered a simple breaksfast. Place was kid friendly as well.(They have a great kids menu for breakfast. We just got a simple eggs and bacon breakfast. But the side of fruit was a plus. It wasnt just one or two kinds of fruit... they gave bananas, watermelon, mango, apples, cantaloupe, blueberries, and strawberries. My son loves fruit so lucky us! We sat at the patio in front so yeh can be a bit scary if your kid likes to run off... ours does to a certain extent. But other than that the atmostphere was acceptable. )

Very delicious lunch today with great service dining inside the restaurant. The rolls were especially tasty for starters. Enjoyed the Cream of Asparagus soup and the Wedge Salad. We had the Trout Almandine and the Mahi Mahi burger with fries. The grilled Mahi Mahi was some of the best I ever had... perfectly cooked and still juicy and tender.
