We ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup, a side of the new harissa lime cauliflower, and the double cheeseburger with fries. Robert took our order and was very helpful and friendly. We grabbed our number and took a seat and were getting even more hungry and a little food envy seeing other orders come out. It was a busy time at dinner and it took maybe 5-10 minutes for our food to come out.The chicken tortilla soup had great flavor, a little spiciness, and large tender pieces of chicken. The bread was grilled and oiled and was nice to dip in the soup. The harissa like cauliflower is new on the menu and had a great kick to it. I'd definitely get this again if it sticks around on the menu. The double cheeseburger had seasoned patties, the condiments were fresh and it was juicy. The fries were cooked nicely and well seasoned.Overall a great meal and we are satisfied. Definitely will return.

I came in to grab a smoothie, and while the store is busy with orders, the staff did absolutely nothing to acknowledge the customers standing in line trying to place an order. I watched upwards of 5 customers leave. I've been in the store for nearly 30 minutes and still have not been able to place or order nor be acknowledged nor thanked for my patience. Absolutely terrible customer service. Shouldn't take 45+ minutes for a smoothie.

Today I went to traders Joe in Aliso viejo, CA branch at senior hours.while I was waiting for the cashier and her assistant to bag my purchases, the young man who was baggingSaid to his colleague that his girlfriend dad is covid 19 positive and he had to go get the test but the result is going to be ready in a week or so.He said that he is so worried about the test result. I was shocked, did not know what to do just leave the store or wait pay and get my grocery that this gentleman touched and bagged.I was hoping that if someone is at risk and go get tested because of being in contact with a covid patient needs to stay home and quarantine for 14 days. But with my surprise here this young man was bagging the seniors grocery. The bad news is that the sanitizng wipes are not available in stores to buy anymore, to clean the grocery and some young people do not care about elderly or the community.I wished traders Joe ask these kind of employees that were in contact with covid 19Patients stay home until their test result come back. It is a pity that the result of the test takes one to two weeks to show if a person is positive.Because by that time lots of people are already at risk of getting covid19.Just keeping my fingers crossed that I do not get sick because this young man decided to work until he gets the result of his test.I Just washed my grocery with soap and water and dried them. Now I am checking my temperature every morning for the next 7 days at least. This is one example of how this deadly disease spreads among people. We do not get it seriously.

We’re vegetarian and have been looking for good Punjabi food. After New Jersey, this is the best Punjabi restaurant we’ve tried. Things to try: Kadhai paneer, dal makhni and veg biryani. Their servings are generous and they service is really fast. Reminds me of food from Delhi and Haryana

We just had the worst experience weve ever had at a restaurant last night. After waiting for approximately 20 minutes for a table, our party of 5 chose to sit outside because it was the first table available, and we were very hungry. We let the hostess know that we knew what we wanted and were ready order as soon as they were ready to take our order. The hostess was very nice, seated us and came back with utensils and napkins and let us know our server would be with us shortly. After about 5 minutes, she came back and said the server would be with us in 2 minutes. We watched her go inside and remind the server that we were waiting for him to come take our order. We continued to wait for another 10 -15 minutes for our server to come to our table. Once he arrived, he was clearly agitated and abruptly asked for our order. My wife asked if he knew that our table was in his section, to which he responded, “don't poke the wrong bear”. He then added that he was having a bad day and that he was not a slave he was a server. He then said in a hostile manner “just give me your order”, and at that point our entire party got up and said that we would not be eating there, and his response was ”good, I didn't want to serve you anyway”.I was so furious I went into the restaurant and asked to speak to the owner. The owner was not there, but the manager on duty came to assist. I told her that the server was extremely rude to us and that we had dined at that restaurant over 10 times and were shocked by the treatment we received from him. He then started loudly arguing with me in the middle of the restaurant, accusing my wife of being rude to him and again used the phrase that he was not a slave he was a server. To the manager's credit she handled the situation very professionally and asked if I would come outside and discuss it with her. He followed us out the door and kept arguing, telling me he had been a server there since the restaurant had opened. The manager asked him to go back inside multiple times and finally said if he didn't go back inside immediately, she would terminate him. Once he finally left, we shared our experience with Janelle, who managed the discussion with great professionalism. The server not only angered all of us but also scared my wife with his aggressiveness. It's truly unfortunate how one employee can tarnish the reputation of an entire establishment. Won't step foot in this place as long as that server is employed by them. Before this incident, this was one of our favorite restaurants in Aliso Viejo.
The Original Pancake House
26951 Moulton Pkwy, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, United States
This is a review not for the consumer but for The Original Pancake House management. I could not decide on 2 or 3 stars. My husband and I have been going to the restaurant for more than 20 years and for an excellent breakfast just the way you want it, this was our go to place. We havent been there for about a year and a half. Just had not ventured out for breakfast in a long time. Today we took our son and his girlfriend. We ordered our usual (and was really looking forward to it) the Spinach and Swiss cheese omelet delicately prepared, no brown. We ordered bacon and a side of toast. The omelet does come with pancakes but as a treat, I ordered French toast for all of us to share. My son and his girlfriend ordered pancakes. When our food came, the omelet was brown. The waitress was very apologetic saying that she had told the kitchen what we wanted. She took it right back and said theyd make a new one. We sat there unable to eat the pancakes and French toast as they didnt drop off the syrup with the food. When the waitress came back to drop off the toast, I said we need syrup. Finally got that, and then a little while after that the omelet showed up. It didnt have any brown...but it didnt have any swiss cheese either! When the waitress came back we told her just forget it, please take this off of our bill. When the bill came they took the omelet off but not the toast...we never even saw the side of pancakes that was supposed to come with the omelet! They took the toast off too at our request. So the French toast ended up being the main course instead of just something fun to nibble on. I certainly didnt want so many carbs and sugar, we really were disappointed. None of this would have ever happened back in the day. We highly respected the management and staff back then. Maybe it was an off day, I dont know, but we wont be back most likely.
Ayres Suites Mission Viejo - Lake Forest

I stayed here with my family on 7/30&8/1 thus year & we all loved this hotel !! The double queen bed room had a mini fridge ( no freezer ) & a microwave. Very wonderful hotel. Free breakfast was very good, they had a couple of different egg dishes ( scrambled eggs )& cooked potatoes, pancakes ( it was yummy, me & mom enjoyed them both days ! ), fresh apples / oranges .We have organic apples in our room ( if non organic, apples are GMO in the U.S.), so we had the oranges, they were juicy & very sweet !!! ? They had some sausage patties, too. We are vegetarians ( me & mom )& vegans, so we didnt eat that. Not much for vegans to eat, though !! We had croissants & some bageles, too .The staff & maids & the front desk people were all friendly & even other guests were very kind & courteous, especiallyto our elderly mom !! The location was great !! They had a great view of mountains from the hotel ( looked very close !! )& the patio of the breakfast room !! We had a beautiful sunset view from our window, too !! The room was very clean & big !! The WET BAR was very useful !! ??And the sink was separated from the bathroom which I love, especially when I am staying w/ others, so that we dont have to wait to use the sink when someone is using the bathroom ! A very good location to visit San Juan Capistrano which we did & enjoyed ! Also Dana Point .Beautiful beach there ! Nice sea breeze, not smelly, not sticky at all ! We found many vegan friendly restaurants & vegan restaurants, even organic ones !! Two in Dana Point. We found a vegan burger shop in Mission Viejo, they were all very yummy !! Nice French cafe . The surroundings of the hotle & atmosphere, the beautiful views were unexpected. It felt like we went to a resort place !! I used to live in the areas near Mission Viejo, so it was very surprising, a very nice surprise indeed !! Their spa hotel was right next door & the nice courtyard of the spa hotel is for both hotel guests we were told ! The guests seemed to be really enjoying the pool / hot tub !! Very relaxing atmosphere. My sister wanted to swim there on our last morning, but the pool man told her to wait til hed finish cleaning & we were checking out that day, so she couldnt use the pool. Its a VERY DOG FRIENDLY hotel, too !! We took my sisters dog there w/ us & saw others were allowed to bring their doggies in the breakfast room even !! They didnt as they ate their vegan meals in our room.Minor things to mention, not sure why, but we didnt get our plastic / paper cups for 4 people each, just 2 each ! We called the front desk & I had to go down to the front desk to get em myself . Also, the very 1st thing I noticed as soon as we entered the hotel was a smell of bug spray like smell & nice spa place aroma mixed up in the air / entire lobby !!The hallways smelled like hotel, no bug spray scent ! Lol. But,our room was smelling like it ( bug spray )a tiny bit, too, again mixed w/ a very nice scent ! Another thing was there was not much for vegans to eat in the breakfast room !! Just oatmeal, cereals & fruites !! We are hoping that theyll have some vegan sausages or some tofu scrambles for vegans which provide more proteins & not boring foods for vegans !!Other than that, we loved this hotel !! Very relaxing hotel w/ wonderful views, even though we could see a freeway from the breakfast room, but the mountains canceled it out !! The rooms / hallways are wide, we loved that, too !! Nowadays, the most hotels have narrow hallways & much smaller rooms to stay in ! My mom is claustrophobic, but she didnt feel uncomfortable at all to stay in the room sharing the bed w/ me & the room / bathroom w/ the other daughter & her husband & their doggie !! I highly recommend this hotel at this location !!

After a long days work of watching friends and spouse at tennis camp, what better way to refuel than healthy salad and a filling sando? The restaurant has a pleasant sit down style layout with more cushy seats on the far wall, but we weren't just looking for a place for its looks. Our cashier took our orders with lightning speed and we got our food in less than 10 minutes with 5 ppl ordering. Service to get seated was *chef's kiss*. Wife ordered the steak chimichurri sando with home made buns and I got the keto salad with extra meat. HIT THE SPOT. After nearing food coma, we brought our plates back to its storage home for clean up near the exit, and went back home on our merry way. Would I come back here? You darn right I will.Let's go!!
Peppinos Pizzeria

I would have given this place a 5 star rating had it not been for their terrible customer service, not by the general employees but the management of all people. We ordered over $70 worth of food including an $8 order of breadsticks. The ladies inside were sweet, fast and got me out the door quickly, but the breadsticks were left on the table. We called when we arrived home and spoke with someone who said they would refund us for half of the order and blamed me for leaving the breadsticks on the table. At the time of the pickup, I walked in and told them I was picking up, the food was conveniently placed in a large bag that was placed on the counter next to where I was paying. I payed for the food and the server moved the food to another table just behind me. I finished paying, grabbed the bag and walked out the door. There was nothing underneath the bag or I would have noticed it, but they stated that the bread was “in a box under the bag”. As I said before, I ordered over $70 worth of food and it was not a light bag. The bread would have been crushed had it been under the bag, and I'm not blind. When we called we were blamed for the missing breadsticks and eventually transferred to a manager who stated she had put the food in the bag and handed the box and bag to our server to be handed to us. Somewhere between there, the transfer to the counter, then the transfer to the table, the breadsticks went missing. This is where it gets interesting. Normal level headed people would assume, I ordered breadsticks, I did not receive breadsticks, I should get my money back. Normal level headed managers should think, they ordered breadsticks, they did not get breadsticks, I should give them a refund for said breadsticks. When the manager got to the phone and answered, I was calm and explained that I was the person who ordered the magic disappearing breadsticks to which her reply was “The breadsticks were on the table under the bag.”. Having worked in customer service before I assumed she would follow it up with a solution or an apology or something other than the equivalent of “it's your fault.”, But I was wrong. I said “you don't have to lie to me lady, I'm not blind.” And she followed up with telling me how she was not at fault, so it must have been my fault, not even taking into consideration the multiple place changes of the bag and box after her handing it off and definitely not considering the fact THAT IT WAS $8 FOR FOOD I NEVER RECEIVED. We eventually got to a point where she said “I'm not going to argue with you about this, it was only $8.” As if to dismiss my complaint as trivial, yet it took 20 minutes of arguing to give me back the money. When called again and asked for the owners name and number, the manager stated “I'm busy” but eventually gave it to us. I'm honestly flabbergasted that they would hire someone so unprofessional to be a manager.
