I was only in the LA area for two days & when I travel I always go for Indian. Bollywood Cafe thoroughly pleased. I ordered the chicken vindaloo (and verified I wanted it hot), an order of samosas, two naans, and two orders of rice, which turned out to be more than enough for my party of two at about $25 total.The vindaloo was great: wonderfully flavorful curry, good quality meat (mixed white and dark), and hot enough to let you know youre alive without trying to prove anything. (Im one of these people who grows chilis in the backyard and tosses them into take-out, leftovers, etc. if its not spicy enough). The samosas were crispy and nicely tasty with the coriander/cilantro and mango chutneys. There was a goodly amount of saffron in the rice and the naan were definitely up to snuff. You have to order the rice, its not an automatic side. Its better than any rice Ive made at home but if I lived in the area I might experiment, so I suppose this could be a neat option. (It seems some reviewers below found this arrangement disingenuous; the staff took care to let me know when I ordered).It was extremely busy when I came by. They took about 15 phone orders while I waited for my carry-out, and the small but classy dining area was full. So I was impressed both by their efficiency and by their friendliness, not just with the customers but with each other: you can tell this is a well-run operation.

The Lemonade restaurant in Studio City is amazing! First of all, I loath processed garbage food, and since most fast food isnt worth serving to a starving dog, Lemonade has fresh, healthy, all natural food. And there is something for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans alike.AND THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD AND FRESH!I had an issue with my order, and with the stress of COVID19 pressing down on all of us, I was iterated that I paid a premium for delivery, and the food wasnt right. The manager Michael made everything right, he gave me a complimentary order even with some extras, and personally delivered my food to me. I mean, amazing. Best customer service I have ever experienced in food service.

The have a wide variety of dishes including plates, entrees, burritos, salads, sandwiches and more. The outdoor dinning is small and intimate and the indoor seating is well placed out. Amazing fast and friendly service and short wait times.

Seems like my review was taken off. I went there about 5 months ago and I had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could I would give this place a 0. The food is delicious but what makes me not come back ever again is the customer service. When we arrived the cashier was on her phone texting away, when I finished ordering she tells me that they were about to close but that we were fine to eat there. So we sat down because we were under the assumption that we were ok. Note that we were there 25 minutes before they closed. The other girl that was there wiping down tables was giving us nothing but attitude for no apparent reason. Keep in mind that there were still customers in the restaurant. How were we supposed to know they were closing when the cashier didnt say anything after we finished ordering. If she would of said that they were closing from the beginning we would of gone somewhere else to eat. I too work in customer service so I get it. One customer had asked the girl wiping down the tables, why their night was slow and she responded back to him with nothing but attitude. While we were waiting for our food the cashier comes over and gives us our food to go BLAMING the chef saying he packed up your food to go. Who the hell does that!!!!!! No, hey sorry but we are closing now, any way we can package your food to go? I will never give my money to this place EVER again and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to eat at this place.

I have been wanting to go here for a long time, but, despite working right up the street, this was the first opportunity. So, I must confess that I am a big fan of Chef Antonias, having watched her on Top Chef and the Food Network. She is an amazing chef with a great amount of charisma and charm, plus she looks a bit like my wife. With that being said, I was afraid of being disappointed, because I have been to restaurants of celebrity chefs that were much less than expected, Black Market lived up to the hype. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and attentive, food came out in the order we requested it, with perfect timing, allowing us to finish our apps prior to receiving the entrees.We started off with the Corn Fritters off the Happy Hour menu, perfection! They were light, flavorful, very well seasoned and not oily, like a lot of Fritters I have tried before. My son had 2 of the 3 ounce Sliders, cooker to the exact temp we asked for, juicy, flavorful with a perfectly toasted bun, only topping was Lettuce, come on hes only 9. My wife had the Penne and I had the Chicken Parm, both were amazing, again. Finally for dessert, we had the Churros, I love Churros and these were definitely among the best. The place is beautiful, has a true old pub feel to it, very charming.Be warned that it is a little pricey, $130 with tip for 3 of us, but definitely well worth the cost.The only complaints I can make is that it was very cold for my wife, not totally their fault, as it was raining and about 45 degrees outside, but maybe some heaters would have helped and parking is a bit difficult, while there are a lot of spaces in the area, meters and side streets, the area is very busy, so you are better off using the Valet. All in all, it was a phenomenal experience. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Chef Antonia was there and we could have met her.If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend trying it.

Hello, I just wanted to comment on something very unpleasant that could have happened to me today I felt so much humiliation ok !! #1 Im a food delivery worker #2 Im a woman I arrived at this prestigious restaurant I arrive I hope they attend to me a person who claims to be a manager comes kindly mind I told him my greetings, there is no answer, he continued, I ask about the order, he walks away and checks the order and tells me to deliver the first thing I ask, excuse me, could I use his bathroom, he does not answer me at all, and then he says wait for me, he imagines, I was peeing, it was horrible I put up with it too long not to tell him, come back, he didnt say anything to all of this, I felt too embarrassed ? the people sitting in front of me just looked at me, I walked to the bathroom like that, very embarrassed, everyone looked at me, I used the bathroom because I had 2 orders to deliver, they didnt give me I urinated in front of the restaurant please ? owners we are human I am a working woman I am Uber Eat I dont have a bathroom with me because Im driving I have to drink water I dont worry about that they always lend me the bathroom I have been working for almost 3 years driving day after day doing my job with pride and great performance !!! this black man denigrates me as a Latin woman all I ask for is respect ✊? for women we are ladies we do not deserve to be discriminated against we need to use your bathroom is my only request educate this gentleman they are also discriminated against and then never forget empathy love for your neighbor ???? ?please

Great to have a vegetarian restaurant in the valley! Super friendly staff and diverse menu. Perfect for vegetarians, vegans and plenty of gluten free options too. They dont serve alcohol but have a friendly BYOB policy.

Situated in Studio City this beautiful restaurant in the valley near major studios is a gem. The menu caters to vegans, vegetarians and anyone curious about a plant based lifestyle. Been here twice and each time it has been special. This sunday morning I got a cacao shake which was super tasty, followed by a mini skillet quinoa vegan mac & cheese. The flavors were rich and comforting. My shake cost 11 and the mini skillet cost 8. All in all a great value for money considering LAs dining scene averages are in the mid to high 20s not including alcohol. I will be back in the near future. Thanks to the helpful server/ bartender Michael for some helpful recommendations.

ThIs place is one of the best authentic Jamaican food places I ever been to . The location is in a small plaza, the food is between $16- 32 I got the salmon mango plate which was fire, and I got my mom the oxtail dinner in which the oxtail were huge. They also have a small store inside where you can get ginger beer, curry powder, plantin chips etc.. this is a small restaurant that you can sit and eat, it does have a restroom available to the public. And the twisted flower hibiscus pun drink is off the hook . Yes they have patties even one for vegetarians . The owner of the place name is Toni which you will see in the picture below
