Taco Bell

I am not sure if I have bad luck or if its just coincidentally but theyre Always forgetting items ordered & paid for. I always ask if such & such is in the bag? they confirm YES its all in there. This last time food was missing from the 3 items total that were ordered she looked up in the air mumbling something after I knocked on the door. She says can I help u? I said yeah my order is missing my quesadilla with no chicken. She says are you sure!!? Im like here you can check my bag, maybe I missed it. She digs thru the 2 items & asks what was it again? I said a quesadilla no chicken. She walked away. 5 minutes later she comes out hands me a bag & walks away. No apology. No have a good night. Just walked away. She then realized she was locked out the door that was being held by some kids who were inside eating after hours who was supposed to hold door for her it looked like. I understand people have bad days. I understand they dont intentionally neglect customers orders. Maybe it just was a bad night for her. But she wasnt too friendly nor leading by example for a even manager. When got home I noticed my quesadilla was heavy. I opened it & it was a chicken quesadilla!! Left on table for my daughter to eat it but she wasnt quick enough. Her dog was a happy boy that night. And i was reminded that without bad luck Id have no luck at all.

I was on a road trip headed to Joshua Tree National Park and me and my friends were looking for food on the way and literally behold this amazing vegan cafe surfaces right ahead of us, which was perfect because there were two vegetarians in the car.I’m neither, I have no dietary restrictions but the 50/50 wrap was amazing, I thought about it all day afterwards and how I wish there was a Fresh Vegan Cafe back home in Los Angeles.Amazing food and staff, we also took many pictures outside of the restaurant for content on social media because the scenery around the place was so cool. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

La Copine
848 Old Woman Springs Rd, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
RUDE STAFF, TERRIBLE SERVICEI almost never post reviews. But I'm making an exception for La Copine because it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a restaurant. This isn't a complaint about the food - which is supposed to be good - but the service. We'd booked here a long time ago because it was recommended by friends. Our table was at 2pm and we arrived on time. There was a queue to be “checked in” and we were seen by the maitre d' about 10 minutes later (no apology for keeping us waiting).Even though there were empty tables available, she told us that we had to continue to wait to be seated because the kitchen were “too busy” for guests even to *sit down*. So we stood there in the sun, with our two small children. This was fine for a bit, but after 20 minutes my wife asked the male front of house person if we could sit down. No, we were told. It's our policy. When we question this, telling him that we don't mind waiting but we'd really appreciate sitting at an empty table (half an hour after our reservation - not a massive imposition, surely?).And then the front of house guy *immediately* gets defensive and shirty, telling us that if we don't like it “we don't have to eat here”. He threatens to get the owner. “You're lucky you're dealing with me,” he says, angrily. “I'm the nice one”.Sorry, but WHAT? What does he mean?Eventually he marches into the restaurant, and brings back the owner. She isn't apologetic AT ALL. “I hear you have some problem with how we run the restaurant,” she says. Then she repeats the line: “you don't have to eat here if you don't want to”.So….we don't. We walk away. Here's the thing. We completely get that restaurants can be booked up. We wouldn't have minded waiting at a table. In fact, if someone had been polite to us we would have been OK standing in the sun for some more time. But the attitude of the staff at La Copine is basically: “you're lucky to be here”. Both the owner and staff treat customers like they're doing us a favour even serving us. When a restaurant is run well, it's a beautiful thing, with respect on both sides. But this place….not so much.So it depends. If you're really keen on the food then give it a go (even though it's expensive and literally by a main road: don't come here for a good view). If good service is important to you, however, then definitely give this place a miss.TLDR: Don't go here unless you're prepared to stand up for up to an hour, and put up with rude, aggressive and patronising staff.

The Yucca Tree Eatery
57754 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
While visiting the area and decided to try this place for lunch. The menu is simple and very descriptive on items. A great selection of breakfast, lunch, and smoothie items. Its counter service, so after you look at the menu, and order at the counter. The young lady at the counter was patience and polite. My mom and I shared the vegan veggie wrap and added chicken. The wrap came with a choice of side (chips, side salad, sweet potatoes or chips & salsa). The wrap was huge, and half was more than enough for one person. The wrap came with a vegan (ceaser like) dressing (on the side), which was delicious and a nice touch to the wrap. We opted for the chips (again, several choices to choose from). Our order came quickly and was delivered to our table. We got there around lunchtime, and it became quite busy. The dining area is open concept with several tables and chairs. Fresh, bright paint and living plants make it feel clean and welcoming. This place obviously takes a lot of pride in their food and offers the best for your money. You can taste the love in the food. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you care about the food you eat. The prices are a reflection of the quality you get. I, for one, am willing to spend more money for good quality food. Ill definitely be back. Update: Returned for a second visit. Tried the Grilled chicken sandwich with chips & salsa and ordered a side of sweet potatoes with honey. One word: Delicious ?. This is a favorite and I will definitely be back again!

Snakebite Roadhouse
55405 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
Man! Where do we start?! We stopped by Snake Bite Roadhouse for Sunday brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The space is awesome and inviting. It had this cool biker bar vibe but done tastefully throughout the restaurant. We were greeted and sat quickly. I was super pumped to see they played the NFL games on the TVs they had near the bar.Drinks: We ordered a couple of Micheladas, mighty fine recipe they have! Its hard to find a place that makes them well and they definitely delivered on this one. It had a great twang & spice to it, these were not one of those tomato or clamato based types that taste like a bloody. This one was on point, definitely will be back to get the recipe! ?Food: We had the Benedict and a couple breakfast tacos. Man, I cant tell ya how many Benedicts ive had that the yolk were just poached too long and hard. Definitely not the case here, those yolks were runny baby and done to perfection. With the hollandaise, smoked pork belly and the runny yolks, that alone makes me want to go back. We also had some breakfast potatoes that help slop up all the left over hollandaise.Service: Everyone here is super attentive, at no point did I feel forgotten even with how busy they were. Our server gave us great recommendations for food and drinks, she was able to steer us in the right direction when it came to some allergies. They were very accommodating to the allergies and we appreciate that very much.10/10 would totally recommend, were already making our plans to check out dinner. Thanks again Snakebite! Look forward to dining in again!

Cali Greens Cafe
57754 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
They use Joshua Tree Coffee Co, so right away, thats a plus. Cute shop, sparkling clean with local artwork on display for sale. Food was really good. While nor cheap, it was very reasonably priced & made with quality ingredients. But their best asset us the staff. Friendly, helpful, upbeat - and just finally cool. I thought it was self serve (you pay at the counter when you order) so didnt give the tip a lot of thought, just included it with the bill but the bring your food & drink, refills, bus your table & make sure you are ok, so deserve full wait staff tips. Highly recommended- check them out.

Giant Rock Meeting Room
1131 Old Woman Springs Rd, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
I just got back to our apartment and I had to write this review immediately.Very important premise: we are Italian.I am allergic to dairy and have become accustomed to eating pizza at home cheese-free and accepting it.We walked into Giant Rock Meeting Room not really knowing what food to expect as we're staying nearby and we were too tired to drive anywhere. When we saw pizza on the menu we got that instantaneous Italian-eating-abroad fear of what we'd be served, but as soon as a server brought a nearby table a pizza we were smitted by its looks. We would have never imagined being smitten by its taste as well.Food review:- I got a dairy-free variation of the pizza with apples and honey. I was amazed by the dough's perfect consistency, the crunchiness, the balance in flavours, the delicate taste of the vegan cheese. I wish I had this pizza at home, I would order/eat here once a week.- My partner went a little American and got a pepperoni pizza (yep- you won't find that at home). He devoured the whole thing only dabbing a slice at the very end when his stomach didn't have place for the (limited) amount of grease. He said it was delicious - I wish I could review but he opted for real cheese so I had to avoid it (I ate his crusts though - that's how good it was).I am not kidding this place is fantastic. To all my Italian tourists in the area craving a GREAT pizza, venite qui!I got the Chipotle cocktail and it was so well balanced, exciting, yummy.Amazing atmosphere- it's a pizzeria+gallery. Loved the trinkets, artwork, vintage pieces.100% would recommend - PLEASE TRUST US!!!Ps. we spoke to the owner - place USED TO be a coffee shop so don't get confused by older pictures/reviews!

La Caguama Go Grande
55315 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
The servers were polite, the overall inside look was ok, it was cold inside the restaurant. It took almost 40min for our food to arrive and to be honest we were disappointed the food was not wort the wait nor the cost. The chorizo quesadilla was not right in taste and just seemed off. The plate presentation left much to be desired with 1 tablespoon of guacamole on top of half a handfull of shredded lettuce with a tablespoon of diced tomatoes and a table spoon of sour cream, just not good enough. I mean if Aldi frozen quesadillas taste better then what they served then that tells you enough. The vegetarian buritto must have had such tiny vegetables it was hard to find them between the rice, black beans and potatoes ? ...maybe the potatoes ate the rest of the vegetables. Then to top it off the burrito was served with pickled carrots in a basket on top of a paper lining that became so soggy it had to be removed. In all honesty if you are charging Las Palmas prices then match the quality of the food cause to be honest I would rate Las Palmas the no 1 Mexican restaurant in Yucca Valley and La Casitas as 2nd best, you guys have a long way to go. I will not be eating here again, and honestly regret not walking out and asking for a refund.

Yucca Kabob
57345 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
I visited Yucca Kabob after having a great meal at their other family restaurant in the Detroit area, Yummy Kabob. It is the sameDelicious food at both locations. Was very happy with the falafel (possibly best I’ve had - same great flavor as at Yummy Kabob), vegetarian grape leaves, fattoush, and hummus. Now I just have to check out the family’s restaurant in Jordan and my experience will be complete ?

C & S Coffee Shop
55795 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, United States
My wife and I and our grandniece arrived at C&S coffee shop @5:45pm on Saturday Aug 14, 2021 on our Handicapped electric scooters wanting to have dinner and out of respect we were parking the larger scooter and our grandaughters bicycle outside to minimize our impact on limited space. After sending our grandniece in to check seating availability, we chose the smaller scooter so I (who is unable to use the normal seating due to my medical conditions) had a seat but as we parked and were about to go into C&S Julio a server proceeded to come outside to us and advise us they were about to close early and would not serve us dinner even though the hrs are posted till 7:30pm. We regrouped after a 20 minute phone call just off the premises of C&S with people arriving after us and not being turned away. We then decided to cross the busy highway 62 to Las Palmas mexican food to have dinner where we were welcomed and accomodated to our wants and needs and in clear view of C&S coffee shop. While we enjoyed dinner, we observed the coffee shop staying open till well after 7pm. This clearly was discrimination & in violation of A.D.A. accessibility laws. Needless to say after our experience we will not return and not recommend anyone to patronize this establishment it was a poor choice on Julios part and they lost our $50.00 in business that afternoon.
