Flame Broiler

The food is very consistently delicious. This restaurant is a permanent option in my family food-to-go list. We mainly order the chicken and its always cooked to perfection. The vegetable are also cooked thoroughly and not overly mushy or crunchy. The rice (both brown and white) are steamed properly giving it enough stickiness to eat easily with chopsticks. They recently changed the sizes of the bowls. I believe it went from a Styrofoam branded bowl to a now recycled plastic unbranded bowl. Probably changed to cut cost and to promote environmentally friendliness. They are shorter then the previous bowls but the mouth is a tab bit wider. I cant say for sure if you get anymore or less food with the new bowls. If you are planning on going to this restaurant during the busy lunch/dinner time I suggest placing a order over the phone. A lot of people visit this place and their have been times where the line queue has been several people long. It is of no fault of the staff. They do their jobs properly and I have no issues with them. This place just constantly have customers.
P.F. Changs
3525 W Carson St R7 #166, Torrance, CA 90503, United States
Visited a PF Changs after a long time, and thoroughly disappointed with the experience! I guess theres a good reason why their branches are closing down. The menu is a skinnied down version of what it used to be, and unfortunately even the few dishes left on their menu are bland, insipid and totally not worth the prices. We would have probably preferred the food at Panda Express over their food, as everything we tried was very disappointing. Will not be visiting a PF Changs again. There are MUCH better Asian restaurants in the area.
The Gardens Casino

Nice and clean casino. They offer valet and self parking. Came here on a Friday night to play poker ($5/$5). They have a large poker room. They have other games too but didnt get a chance to see which ones. They have a restaurant as well. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun (half order) and it was terrible. The service was great though; chip runners, service people, and floor men were always around. The dealers were nice. The players were nice too. Mixed crowd, ethnicity wise but more Asians. I left around 2:00 AM and people were still coming in. This place is cleaner than other LA casinos Ive been to (Hollywood Park and Bicycle). Theres a lot of poker tables going if youre into poker. TVs everywhere with all sports on.
WaBa Grill

A little out of the way to go to at this point in life, but well worth the drive. It is located just off the freeway. Which is a really nice place to stop. The shopping plaza used to have a Target store there, but it is now been removed and they are building something new.Regarding the waba grill, the food is cooked when you get there, its served hot and ready to eat and with a smile and the question, Is there anything else I can do for you. My answer today was, No. They provided me with the two meals I ordered, the bottle of tea for my son and a glass of water with fresh ice for me. I love their little get it yourself bar that has fresh be cut onions and other greens. You can add these to your bowl to make it just a little more tastier.I have never had a complaint about any of the food that I I have eaten at Waba Grill. I do think the prices are a bit high based on others that have very similar products, but if theres no place else to go the extra buck or two arent bad.Restrooms are clean, tables are clean and the floors are kept spick-and-span.if youre down in the area and are hungry, drop in and see what they have to offer you.If you enjoyed my review please LIKE belie and if you get a chance please RATE me. As always thank you for your time and energy. Have a blessed life.

An employee started taking my order when all of sudden, the manager of the restaurant was being rude towards the employee that was taking my order. The manager decided to serve me instead of the employee. I told the manager what to serve me and she didnt understand me and when I told her why she wasnt understanding me, she got mad for no reason. When I was about to pay for my food, I discovered that the manager only served me 3 fried shrimp which were old and cold. When I come here, usually I am served much more shrimp that is fresh. I told them to make me fresh shrimp but it took them almost 15 minutes to make the fresh shrimp. I also discovered that part of my order wasnt correct and I had to wait even more to get part of the order replaced. By the time we ate, most of the food was cold and it was all because I had to wait for over 30 minutes because the manager randomly started serving me without paying attention to what my order was. I clearly saw how rude the manager was towards the employees and other costumers.

Been to place many times, sometimes good service most times bad. Always small portions of food. One time the lady in front of me was buying a kids meal box the server barely gave her any food and she said thats it, thats all I can get? The server said yes. She went to pay for the food and then said this is way too pricey for that amount of food and didnt want the order and left, she was not being rude. When she left the restaurant the servers made fun of her and said she should go eat chicken nuggets at McDonalds (in spanish). As someone that works in the area and eats lunch everyday near by, this restaurant has lost alot of business from me in the years.
Torihei Yakitori Robata Dining
1757 W Carson St Ste A, Torrance, CA 90501, United States
My son, husband and I just went to this restaurant this afternoon on 10/1/22. As we sat down, they gave us the menu order sheet to write how many of the items we want. There were no prices or pictures so we assumed that the portion of the food would be rather small with a friendly price since the restaurant is considered “Izakaya”. And the order sheet looked just like regular yakitori restaurants listing small portioned items. Besides, no waitress mentioned anything in detail, just told us to write down how many pieces of the items we wanted to order. We got 8 items with drinks( thigh yakitori*2 skews, meat ball skews*3, wing skews *2, short ribs*3, salmon carpaccio*2, karaage *3, rice bowl with meat*3, salad*2, and 3 drinks. Drinks were fine though). One of the waitresses was nice enough to ask if we only wanted 1 salad instead of 2 because the portion of the salad was big (compared to what we expected) when she brought the salad to our table but no one else mentioned or advised us that we ordered too much food for 3 of us. At other restaurants we have been, they all mentioned/advised us when we were ordering more than enough but it wasn't the case In Torihei. We ended up having a whole lot of food and big bills like $177 before tax and tips at the end (half the food, we took it back home). The restaurant should list the prices on the menu or at least they should show the pictures of the items. That way, customers can at least take a wild guess of how much food they are ordering and they may guess how much each item may be by looking at the portion. As for the food quality, it was ok overall except karaage and short ribs. Karaage didn't have any flavor (just coated with starch and fried, no salt, no soy sauce, no garlic flavor whatsoever) and the short ribs are unusually fatty as if it were floated in the cooking oil. This meal was supposed to be a casual meal for us today so we can have the real meal tomorrow for our marriage anniversary but I don't want to spend more money after what we went through at Torihei today. I feel that the restaurant takes advantage of the customer who doesn't have thick face to ask how much each item is every time they want to place the order. Can you imagine when you go on the date or business meal, you don't ask how much each item is because that makes you look like stingy or embarrassed. Besides, the order sheet gives customers the impression that the item can be small portion served so customers can enjoy ordering many different items at a friendly price which it wasn't the case at Torihei.

WaBa Grill
1640 W Carson St # A, Torrance, CA 90501, United States
Waba Grill Torrance is my go to for lunch/dinner in between my work meetings. They are quick and healthy and give the perfect balance between a delicious meal and a healthy meal. Perfect during our times that I dont have to wait long and my meal is ready to go in a very timely manner. The staff respects every customer through my multiple visits and the place is kept at a very clean standard. I order a chicken bowl with white meat and veggies. That gets me to a perfectly satisfied portion without feeling bloated or full so I can get on with my day. Ive been going to this Waba for over 3 years now and I have never been dissatisfied. If youre looking to make a healthy change to your lifestyle, Waba is such an easy way to start. I have told 2 of my friends to start eating Waba to start changing their lifestyle. I can only say they look better and better each time I see them. Consistency is key. Thank you to the Staff!
Panda Express

If you fancy feeling like Oliver Twist, then this is the perfect place for you. The serving size / quantity does not match the price point at all. I am left to wonder while I watch them scoop the food with (from what seems to be melon ball scoops) as to where someone would learn the perfected art of stinginess that the crew at this location knows quite well. So, if for some reason you came here with a friend and wasnt really hungry, but you didnt want to be rude. Then this would be perfect because they would rapidly give you the bird sized entree of your dreams and you could enjoy your lunch with your friend with the bustling sounds of money leaving the pockets of unfortunate customers as they walk away wondering (as did I) if they got ripped off.
