Vegan Asian Cuisine
329 E Bidwell St, Folsom, CA 95630, United States
Very good food, the boba and vegan cheesecake and other desserts are great too. The owner is always very friendly and recognizes me every time. I know that the owner struggles, being a small family owned business. His wife operates the other location in rocklin/granite bay. He is there every day they are open. He works hard and it pays off. Great food, from soups, to various spring rolls and eggrolls, to rice, veggie, and protein combo dishes. Their tofu sandwich is my favorite though. When it comes to vegan asian food, I usually prefer sushi, but Pho Vegan has MUCH grester variety in terms of dishes. You need to go all the way to Sacramento and Elk Grove in order to find other asian restaurants with such an extensive vegan menu. Some of the best vegan food in the El Dorado Hills and Folsom area.

My daughter really likes this place and picked it for a little family get together. Its easy to get to ( located on Folsom close to Bradshaw ) with plenty of off street parking. Its rare these days that restaurants serve family style. They do, in a big way. Each item you order ale cart, is enough food for several people. The dishes just kept coming each one more grand than the one before. With a huge lazy Susan on the table covered with platters of food beautifully presented and easy for everyone to serve them selves.Their place is very clean with beautifully appointed chairs covered in a light gold brocade, which I thought was tastefully done.I enjoyed myself and my food very much. With Asian Instrumental music playing softly in the background, it was most relaxing. All things considered, I give them 5 stars.

I wanted to share my unique experience: I came in at the end of my work day, with a slight asthmatic cough. I was dog tired and just wanted a hot soup to take home. I was afraid people would think I was sick, or judge me for not being able to eat spicy food. But I was instantly greeted and made to feel at home by their warm staff. This is actually my second visit, and they completely remembered all of my preferences from my first visit. They noticed my cough, and offered me mildly warm tea (they remembered I can't do piping hot or cold) and remembered the side dishes I liked most, and even that I was vegetarian! I felt really bad but asked for something non spicy as to not irritate my throat, and their kind waitress immediately knew what to recommend and double checked how I'd like to customize my meal (she guessed everything right!). There was no judgement, and customer service was absolutely above and beyond.I definitely recommend this restaurant. Clean and calm ambiance, immediate individual attention, and warm friendly staff all around. AMAZING food (goes without saying!). Big appetizer, soup, meat, noodles, rice, drinks, etc selection. Not sure if I saw this wrong, but lunch specials are only $9.99..!? (You can't get that price anywhere.. even fast food!) I also saw a few families enjoying their meals, including one family who was sitting outside with their dog. Pet-friendly bonus :)Stellar food + great service = ULTIMATE experience. Thank you, Doma, for taking care of me today.

Food was not worth the price. If you are looking for decent Dim Sum, this is not the place. 2 stars are just for Ambience.Reception staff needs training to serve customers. Running an Asian restaurant and if Asian is to be seated in the room with no other people without any Valid reason. I am unable to convince myself that I will ever go back just for ambience.

Made large order online for pick up at dinner time. Spring rolls were good. Have never previously had wonton soup but this had alot of vegetables, but the wontons were kind of huge (not bite size) & sadly were not appetizing in anyway & one bite was more than enough. The northern vegetable chow mein was a large serving & was good. The Lemon chicken was unusual in that the chicken was breaded baked (?) and then slice, laying in a bed of typical lemon sauce. That was ok, but the breading separated from the chicken and so was not really that great texture wise & really bad to eat reheated. The fried wontons were also something new to us. They had a cream cheese and slight seafood (?) creamy center. They were great. the Cashew Chicken was on the greasy side with oddly shaped & chicken pieces that were unappealing in texture. It also had disappointingly few cashews. The Canton salt & pepper Sea bass was very good. The fried Rice was a generously large serving & they did not skimp on the vegetables! It had egg as well as some bits of broccoli and small slices of zucchini added to the usual peas, carrots & corn. Sadly, the Shitake mushroom chicken was inedible. Greasy & the flavor was so bad that although all of our party loves chicken, mushrooms & snow peas, we didnt swallow any of it, but threw it out. This was our first time eating food here & felt that the portion sizes were matched well with the prices, and we might get food from here again, but would probably stay with the things we had tried & liked. we picked up our order for take out, but the inside of the restaurant was nice & inviting.

The gravy on the dishes is incredible. I love the tofu here as well. The spicy eggplant here has a delightful taste. The spicy fried rice and red curry are also great options. A beautiful restaurant for vegetarians who are looking for any type of Asian food.

We recently visited this Filipino restaurant that truly impressed us with its authentic flavors and dishes. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately transported to the Philippines with the warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with traditional decor and music. The menu was extensive and featured all of the classic Filipino dishes I know and love, including sinigang, adobo, lechon, and halo-halo. I was also excited to see a variety of seafood options, as seafood is a staple in Filipino cuisine.I started off with the sinigang, a sour and savory soup made with tamarind broth and your choice of protein. I opted for the shrimp and was not disappointed - the soup was perfectly balanced and had a depth of flavor that was spot on.For my main dish, I decided on the adobo, a popular Filipino dish made with marinated meat braised in soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic. The adobo at this restaurant was some of the best Ive had, with tender and flavorful chicken that simply melted in my mouth. To finish off the meal, I had to try the halo-halo, a traditional Filipino dessert made with shaved ice, milk, and a variety of sweet beans and fruits. The halo-halo at this restaurant was a true masterpiece, with a generous portion of shaved ice and a perfect balance of sweet and creamy flavors.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with this Filipino restaurant and will definitely be returning. If youre a fan of authentic Pinoy foods, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

When your fried chicken reminds me of a yoga exercise studio ... Yup! I said it. The hype has been developing because their summer opening, yet what I really wish to return for is their Pork Stomach ramen!Im so torn. This location is a true 3.5-star dining establishment. What do I rate it? On the lower side with a three or the higher side with a 4? Well, undoubtedly ... I picked a 3 in the end.We HAD to get their renowned fried chicken appetiser because everybody asserts its the finest! I no longer think these individuals, currently that Ive tried it myself. It was plated truly charming and also you seem to get a suitable amount of chicken for the $12 appetizer rate. When I ate my drumstick it actually tasted reminiscent of a yoga workshop. Sage. Yes, all the sage. In addition, the hen was so oily, the covering slid right off and left me with a glossy item of chicken. I am most definitely going against the grain with this evaluation and also Im alright with this. I wont purchase it once more, however if I go and also someone orders it, Ill provide it an additional taste test. That ALL being stated, I will entirely come back right here for ramen! I picked the pork shoyu broth for my ramen. I allow the kind order taker make a decision which veggie options I would get, I honestly didnt care. I think decided to opt for the pork stubborn belly as my healthy protein. This is where I (once again) need to call them out on something. Their food selection prices is extremely misleading. It looks as if you reach pick a healthy protein for the $10 ramen rates, however, it really costs extra for whichever healthy protein you pick. I assume they require to call it out in a different way, so it is VERY clear just how their pricing works.Okay, I like the 63 \u00b0 egg and just how I can damage it as well as allow it exude in the brew. Normally, I just get the egg or allow somebody else have it. I loved the consistency of this egg, which was out of the norm for my ramen experience. The broth was appetizing and not also salty, which is a huge bonus offer for me! Oh man, their pork belly was sooo bomb! I appreciate the top quality of the noodles as well as amount also. Whatever concerning this bowl was perfect. It was a lot more food than I could have ever needed, yet it made assessing this place hard.Okay, I have another complaint. And I am very curious if any person else had this experience. My rice was truly oily and glossy, yet there was no off taste as well it. It was actually difficult to eat with chopsticks also. I needed to ask what was up with and also honor the workers heart for her the attempt at an answer. She said possibly it was as well watery. Anybody who eats rice on a regular basis understands when you add water to rice, it does not come to be glossy as well as oily. EVER. I thanked her as well as let it go, however I was rather discouraged at her reaction. Anywho, it was super tough to consume the rice and also so odd!Overall, for three ramens with proteins, one order of poultry wings, and also one beverage, $65 seemed truly expensive for rapid laid-back. Not that my viewpoint matters, due to the fact that they seem to be flourishing right here in their little Asian-is niche in East Sac. Im thankful to have checked it off the to attempt list, however I wont be demanding to come back and consume right here again. Their food selection isnt massive either.Ill be back to get ramen-tical, but not with the poultry ...
