Chis Chinese Cuisine
9635 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, United States
Chis is an upscale, healthier Chinese restaurant. Weve enjoyed Chis food for well over a decade and continue to come now that theyve expanded and upgrade. We like this place because their food is outstanding, their service is great and the menu selections leave nothing to be desired. The only thing we dont care for is they dont included tea with the dinners. Before the expansion this was included.Meanwhile, Id recommend this place to everyone. Its more expensive than some of the other Chinese restaurants, but we come here anyway for the quality. In a decade weve never had a bad meal or service. Regardless what you order (and weve ordered it all) its going to be good.
A & W Seafood Restaurant

Overall i didnt like this restaurant. I would of choose no stars if that was an option. Much different then the one in orange county. Staff was rude and didnt pay much attention to our table of 4 adults and 4 kids. We had charges on our bill we didnt even order. They charged for tea and when we told them they said its hong kong style even if we didnt order it or sip the tea. They didnt even bring us tea cups but still had the nerve to charge. Your best bet us going to a whole in the wall chinese restaurant or one of the options they have across the street lol. Worst restaurant ever!!!

This was my second time coming to this restaurant. The first time was about 7 yesrs ago.I ordered the wor wonton soup and it was very delicious. My daughter ordered their specialty/house combo noodles, and it was also very good. Our waiter was a Vietnamese man by the name of Tai/Thai, and he has been one of our best waiters from any given restaurant. He was very welcoming and served us well. He was also very funny.I will definitely recommend this Chinese Restaurant, and I will be coming back soon.Thank you!

I was at the Northridge restaurant yesterday, Jan. 7. 2016 in the food court. I ordered for my granddaughter the combo orange chicken with steamed rice. Just to let you know most of the pieces were empty and mostly breading and sugary sauce. My granddaughter told me Look...there is no chicken in the pieces. I told the girl who sold it to us...she said that it was not their fault...it is where they purchase it from. Just to let you know so you can tell the company where you get it from. It was pure sugary syrup probably filled with corn syrup and breading with minute bits of chicken. Your food was inferior and a waste of my money. When I complained to the girl she should have returned our money. The is NOT quality authentic Chinese food.
Panda Express
18427-d Nordhoff St, Northridge, CA 91325, United States
Panda Express is one of my favorite places, but this location, not so much. I arrived around 7:00pm on a Friday evening and they were out of almost everything I wanted. They said it would just be a few minutes, but I ended up waiting about 15 minutes. They were also completely out of steamed rice which I though was weird for a Panda Express. The portion sizes at this location, I noticed are a lot smaller than other locations. The staff also did not seem very friendly and looked miserable to be there. The location is convenient, close to a college, and the parking lot is big, but I will probably go to a different location in the future. I dont like being disappointed.

Dont come here. Service is really bad. Go to a family owned chinese restaurant. They will give you good service and your food how you want it.

I attempted to buy a Thai iced tea (bubble tea) here, as it's my fav drink!! I've made it at home before so I know that it's brewed. Here, it's made with a powder. It did not taste right. Furthermore, they keep their tapioca bubbles in the cups on the counter and when I ate one, it crumbled like chalk in my mouth. Not worth $5.45! I hadn't even left the restaurant, I turned right around and asked for my cash back. The gal refused. I told her to get her manager. She cave back and told me there are no refunds without a receipt, which she saw me throw in the trash next to the counter!! I was the only person in the place and she had literally just served me! Her manager finally came out and authorized a refund. Terrible service and nasty powdery chalky bubble tea! Not recommended!

The remodel of this restaurant is so great! Its been a little bit since we were last here and it was very traditional Chinese restaurant decor previously. Its modern, bright, and feels spacious now. The food is just as delicious and perfectly prepared as before and reminds us why theyve been a staple in Northridge for so many years.Lunch special: Mongolian Beef with Hot and Sour soupVegetable Pan Fried Noodles add tofu
Golden Hunan
10334 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91326, United States
We recently moved to Porter Ranch and was excited to find that there is a Hunan restaurant near the area. We thought it would be our go-to hunan place but we were very wrong. First, dont let the name deceive you, it is not authentic hunan cuisine but rather general chinese fusion place. But the worst part of it all is the service. I believe she was some manager of the place and Im not sure what her deal was that day but she was rude especially in front of my mother. The story goes when we ordered extra rice and simply asked much it was. She initially said $2 then later corrected herself by saying $2.50. So when we asked for clarity, she immediately flipped on us and kept insisting that she said $2.50 from the start then started offending us if we understand what she is saying when ironically way more fluent in English than her. She looked visibly upset to the point we know she just lost a potential regular and word of mouth over 50 cents...But oh well, its okay since we now know its not a real hunan restaurant and there are many other Chinese cuisine options in the area anyway.

Not very impressive but average and acceptable chinese cuisines. I would say the dumplings were average but the noodles would be only 2 out of 5 stars for their tastes. Probably wont return since I know other better chinese restaurants.
