Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
3140 Naglee Rd, Tracy, CA 95304, United States
The Olive as I call it! One of my favorite restaurants to visit. The workers are always pleasant and ready to give you No.1 service. However this past Sunday my family and I did not receive that type of service in the beginning. We went to Olive Garden in Tracy, CA. Yes we were greeted well, but when it was time to take our order this waitress was rushing us and walked away while I was trying to complete my order. She brought our soup/salad out and when my bro-in-law asked a simple question the answer was I dont know, I dont make the soup and because of the look on my brothers face she then followed with whats that look in the nastiest way. Im saying lady if you dont enjoy what you do, you can always do something else. Well the manager comes over and takes over the service. So we let him know that we did not want that type of person serving our food. This amazing guy name Bryan takes over. It now has become again the reason why Olive is one of my FAVS!
Panera Bread
2512 Naglee Rd Suite 120, Tracy, CA 95304, United States
Finally a Panera Bread in the Central Valley! With easy on and off access to the freeway will make this location very popular with travelers. This location also comes with the all important drive-thru for those wishing to remain in their vehicles. What makes this place wonderful is their baked goods which is made on the premise daily. The large assortment of breads and menu makes this place a favorite gathering place.I love their Asiago Cheese Focaccia which is an Italian flatbread baked with olive oil and topped with sea salt and asiago cheese. This goes great with a cup or bowl of their soup of the day!Numerous others fresh baked breads include, Ciabatta (chewy crumb, a thin crust and a light, olive oil flavor), Rye (rye kernels and caraway seeds), and Three Seed Bread (poppy, sesame and fennel seeds), to name just a fewI love their soup and salad along with fresh bread. Ive tried there, Artisan French, which is freshly baked bread with a slightly blistered crust...... Yum!Another favorite is their French Onion Soup with sweet onions simmered in a savory broth with a classic sherry wine vinegar gastrique and a blend of sea salts. The soup is topped off with Gruyere and asiago croutonsWe first stumbled into this place several years ago during an outing to Sacramento. Panera Bread had a Stockton California location just off of interstate highway 5.We tried to stop into this place every chance we were in the are but with this new location, Ill definitely have to watch my waistline! This place will definitely be a crowd pleaser for years to come. Heres a little history of this place.Panera Bread started off as St. Louis Bread and was founded by Ken Rosenthal in 1987, when the first location was opened in Kirkwood, Missouri. In 1993, Au Bon Pain Co. purchased the St. Louis Bread Company. In 1997, Au Bon Pain changed the company name to Panera Bread, a made-up name combining the Italian words pane (bread) and era (time)--time of bread. In May 1999, to expand Panera Bread into a national restaurant, Au Bon Pain Co. sold its other chains, including Au Bon Pain.Panera Bread moved into its new headquarters in Richmond Heights, Missouri in 2000.The company operates or franchises 1,800 Panera Bread bakery-cafés in 40 states and 20 facilities that deliver fresh dough to the bakery-cafés every day.In the St. Louis area where it was founded, Panera Bread still operates under the name St. Louis Bread Company. The St. Louis metropolitan area has over 101 locations. In 2005, Panera ranked 37th on Business Weeks list of Hot Growth Companies, earning $38.6 million with a 42.9% increase in profits. In 2008, Panera Bread expanded into Canada, beginning with Richmond Hill, Thornhill, Oakville, and Mississauga in the Toronto area.In a 2008 Health magazine study, Panera Bread was judged North Americas healthiest fast casual restaurant. In 2009 and 2012, the restaurant review service Zagat named Panera one of the most popular restaurants for eating on the go.Panera was also rated No. 1 for Best Healthy Option, Best Salad, and Best Facilities.

This place gets a 3 star for now. I ordered the pick your own pho special. The broth came out a bit more oilier than I'd like and tasted pretty heavy to me, so I was only able to finish half a regular size. ??Usually I don't order boba from pho places because that's not their specialty but I decided to take a chance. However, my Thai milk tea came out a bit sweeter than I had liked and there was no option to adjust the sugar level. The boba was hard to chew, it felt like they were leftovers from earlier in the day or undercooked because the center was hard and not jelly.Overall I was a bit disappointed but I'll have to come back to try and order something else on the menu. Based on some of the reviews, it seemed like they at least got the rice plates right.
Chapter 2

We had the pleasure of having Solomon wait on us. We shared a lettuce wedge salad (to die for …, have it EVERY TIME we eat there), and a regular burger ( scrumptious), onion rings and dill dressing ( top notch), and even brought home a bowl of loaded baked potato soup( can’t wait to try it)!!We have eaten here quite a few times and recommend it to anyone wanting GREAT food: well prepared, pleasing to the eyes, and excellent flavors. The staff are amazing as are the family that own and run this little gem of a restaurant! They are upbeat, ready to please, and great servers!Wishing you continued success. Thanks so much for making a stressful day a tasty, delicious ending!!!!!Keep doing what you do… Kent & Marie
Imperial Spice Restaurant and Bar

Food here is undeniably better and more authentic than any other Indian place in town, and including out of town places it's by far the best I have ever had. Staff in the front of house aren't quite familiar with the menu yet but they are super friendly and eager to learn. Cannot stress enough how incredible the food was, owner and chef came out to greet us and ask for our thoughts, all very kind people. It's all plated beautifully which is not something we see in Tracy often (if at all) for ANY kind of restaurant so that was a very nice surprise. Menu is extensive, the mango lassi was delicious with notes of rose and almond, we got the beet and apple salad (pictured)which we absolutely loved and have been craving ever since, the mixed vegetable pakora was savory and perfectly crispy, we got another appetizer we forgot to take a photo of but that was really good as well. The naan is thin and bubbles up gorgeously from the heat and stays that way served. Saffron rice was good but the real kicker was the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala actually tasted different from one another (unlike other restaurants), and had such amazing depth with chicken that melts in your mouth and doesn't have the weird rubbery microwave texture that has unfortunately become the norm. I will say the mild was still a bit too spicy so keep that in mind, but I can't picture any logical reason I would ever go to another place for Indian food ever again despite the heat. I'm very happy we live close by. We will be regulars here and our guests we invited to try the place out with us said the same! This restaurant is putting so much care into what they are doing and you can taste it. Everything about this was a pleasant surprise and I wish them so much success!

The food is great here. Had the chicken hot and sour soup. That was delicious. Ordered fried rice and honey walnut prawns and other things. They were all good. Mama was really nice and our server was also really good. Glad we found this restaurant in Tracy.
Thai Jasmine
29 W 10th St, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
TLDR - BAD FOOD, Ok Service, no refunds or redoing even if they mess up your food.As someone who frequently dines at Thai restaurants and values sharing both positive and negative dining experiences, I feel compelled to document my recent visit to this Thai Jasmine, which unfortunately ranks as my second worst Thai dining experience. We arrived at 5:30 PM to find the restaurant moderately busy with 8 to 10 tables occupied and only one waiter on duty. After a lengthy 15-minute wait to place our order and an additional 35-minute wait for our food, our anticipation was met with disappointment. The service, though courteous, struggled under the weight of evident understaffing which improved with time. Our server did her best under the circumstances. The appetizers were passable, but not without issues; the sauces for the jumpy chicken wings and fried rolls were mixed up, an error we chose not to fuss over at the time. The main courses further contributed to our dissatisfaction. The medium spice Thai fried rice ordered by my wife proved excessively spicy, surpassing the heat tolerance of even a South Indian palate accustomed to extra spicy masala food. Seriously “Don't try without supervision” type of spice. It's an error they didn't want to review or correct by inspecting the food. Conversely, the Pad Thai, which I had requested spicy, was bland and lacked the advertised heat. When we addressed these inconsistencies, another staff member informed us that they could neither refund nor redo our order due to a backlog and only one chef working. Again, nobody inspected to confirm and their response - “no refund, can't remake this because of backlog orders, next time order low spice” :)DAMN THE AUDACITY!!!Its disheartening to see a business falter this way, and without significant improvements to customer experience, I fear for its longevity! I paid for everything and added a tip for the waitress who did ok(the other two were clueless on how to address the feedback, probably employees and were under strict guidelines- no refunds, no redoing, no inspection :) )Improve your service and earn back my business!
Yafa Hummus
2439 Naglee Rd #7e, Tracy, CA 95304, United States
A new Mediterranean venture in Tracy leaning on the cool / Hip side with some traditional shawarma swirling around. The decor is nice & service is commendable. The menu is broadly on three criteria side, Sandwich, Bowl with pretty much all the available options intermingling with each other at one stage or other. Now the Food : Shawarma / Gyro is fresh swirling around the heat but other than most of the items are pre-made be it salads, tabouleh, dolma, Baba Ganoush etc. Pita breads are pre-packed ones & baklava are in the front display. You can pretty much combine them with sauces like Tahini, Garlic etc & the owners are good enough to suggest a perfect fit.Though most of the stuffs are pre-made they have a lot of options for both Veg & Non-Veg lovers.BUT most of the stuffs have a very typical & common sour taste be it the salad or the sauce or the hummus. So, your Taste buds turn numb with the same palette. Being a new venture probably they are still working on finding the right mix of different ingredients but sooner they find a distinct taste the better.CONS : FALAFEL I am so used to made to order falafels at other places, that fried golden brown crispy balls with melt in your mouth taste is missing here. They are also Pre-Made which completely takes away the whole joy of biting into that hot crunch & it doesnt taste great at all.HUMMUS also did not taste half as good as packaged Costco ones. Specifically when the name carries hummus on it, expectation are at an all time high. So a solid -2 stars coz Falafel & Hummus defines Mediterranean food.PRO: Great Service / Nice Atmosphere / Owners with an accommodating attitude / Good menu selection / Clean place*My 2 Cents : Adding Calorie / Fat / Sodium / Cholesterol information to the menu will give that hipster place a much needed boost. This review will be updated once I get to try their Gyros & other stuff on the menu.
Los Potros Restaurant
508 E 11th St B, Tracy, CA 95376, United States
Worth checking out.Whenever we passed by this restaurant, theres always people waiting outside. So we decided to check it out one day. The inside is not very big, it makes sense why theres always people waiting. We got there after lunch hour, so we got seated right away. The staff was very nice and friendly and got our order right away. Im a big fan of menudo so thats what I got and a tripa taco. The menudo was good but the tripa is bomb. I like how they make it so crispy. My husband on the other hand got the goat soup of some sort. And that thing was good too. We were both pleased and tummy full by the time we got out from that place. Its really worth checking out. The food is great and the price is good. If your in tracy area this is worth stopping by.
