Ikes Love & Sandwiches
1780 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95404, United States
My family has been a loyal customer of Ikes Place in Santa Rosa.Earlier today, I went to get us 3 sandwiches for lunch, after standing in line for a few minutes, my order was taken at exactly 2:10 pm.After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked the same cashier about my order, she said sorry, we are really busy. After waiting another 10 minutes I asked a different cashier, he said we are working on it now. After seeing more people come in and leave with their orders, I lost my patience, went to the second cashier I had spoken to and inquired about my order AGAIN. I received the same answer we are working on it, it will be ready soonAfter 5 more minutes passed by I went back to the same cashier, expressed my frustration in a polite way and demanded a refund and cancellation of my order. He went to the food preparation area, and a different man on a pony tail came to the cashier to perform the cancellation. His only reply was I am sorryAfter waiting and wasting over 35 minutes of my time, I had to leave with no lunch for me and my family and with nothing but a I am sorry!I tried to find a phone number or email address for this company, could not find it anywhere on the internet. There is no way to find a customer service contact other than the shops themselves!

Vitality Bowls Santa Rosa
1880 Mendocino Ave Ste G, Santa Rosa, CA 95401, United States
Looking for a relaxed spot to eat with food that specializes in healthy, nutritious, and allergy friendly food? Then you’ve found yourself in the right place at Vitality Bowls Super Food Cafe!Although this cafe originated in Northern California they have already reached their 100th franchise. This specific one is located on Mendocino Avenue near the Santa Rosa Community College. A lot of the crowd is young college students, vegans/vegetarians, and workout lovers. There is a parking lot for this outlet area that it is in. There is handicapped parking as well as wheelchair accessibility. One of their top products is their açaí bowls. They have different bowl mixtures that ranges from a vitality bowl filled with bananas and strawberries and a green bowl filled with graviola which is actually a fruit called soursop that comes from a broadleaf, flowering evergreen tree. The green bowl also has dates and spinach. Depending on how healthy you’re feeling that day or what kind of mood you’re in they’ve got the bowl for you. Not only do they have delicious açaí bowls, but they have panini sandwiches, wraps, and smoothies! Many of their foods are filled with vitamins and many antioxidants. You can order online. They have a loyalty program you can join so you earn points. They also have catering services if you’d like to book with them. They were a few comments I did have that I suggest this business think over. One of them being the prices are expensive. I completely understand that such healthy foods may cost more, but it’s not the customers fault. They just want to enjoy foods that are good for their body. Another thing is the employees. The employees were quiet and short. They did not seem to be very social people. I love the environment and decor of this place and I think your employees personalities should match the same personality of the restaurant. Lastly, don’t be stingy with your granola. I had ordered the vitality bowl which was delightful except there was very little granola and if I’m paying $15 for a fruit bowl I would think I deserve a good amount of granola as well.So overall, the prices are expensive so I personally would only come back here every once in a while. I wouldn’t make it my regular place. To my Sonoma county people they have a clean and healthy vibe to it. It is also a good lunch for those of you who just had a good workout or those of you who need more energy after a fun night out the night before. Depending on your budget this may be the place for you!

Pieology Pizzeria Santa Rosa
2280 Mendocino Ave Suite B-3-B, Santa Rosa, CA 94503, United States
I visited Pieology last week and it was my first time. I have heard from my friends and classmates that it was the same concept as Chipotle, but I had not been there yet. Therefore, I was excited about Pieology, besides that I was hungry.I got there around 7:15 pm and they were busy. While I was waiting in line, I tried to see if there was a menu in order to check the options and have my decision made by the time I would got to the counter, but I could not see any menu. When my turn arrived nobody greeted me, and the girl was just looking at me like she was just waiting for me to order. I told her “Sorry, it is my first time over here.” Oh! she replied, and mentioned the crust options: wheat, white and gluten free. I guess, she realized what just happened and asked me how I was and smiled. She was nice! The second girl who served the meat was absolutely quiet; she did not even say a word. I just said pepperoni. In the end I chose wheat crust with 3 cheeses, artichokes, black olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I liked it, but it was a little greasy on the bottom, probably because of the pepperoni. The girl who brought the pizza to my table was also very nice, and she asked very politely if she could pick up my order number. In summary, I really like this new concept of making your own pizza, and I think the prices are very reasonable, $10.77 for a pizza and soda. The wall with different quotes is great!

Gnar Bar
10450 Lansing St, Mendocino, CA 95460, United States
I've been holding onto this review for a minute as I got choked up writing it ?. Got to stop and try a fun new addition to our exemplary culinary choices, this one was in Mendocino, the Gnar Bar. Its in a great location that's had many different choices in its history, I'm not sure any was more interesting. It was my last lunch with my boy before he left for college. As we entered we were greeted with an amazing selection of drink choices and I chose the milk tea. Next was the cold selection of ready made choices like seaweed salad, california rolls and more. Then comes the hot counter. Im a corn fan and adored the cheese corn. The chicken sandwich was tasty too. They specially made the deep fried salmon roll for us, it was fresh and full flavored. The spam musubi was fantastic, my sons first experience with this dietary staple. It's a great people watching spot. Great service, we will be back.Only in Mendocino

Alegria Oceanfront Inn & Cottages
44781 Main St, Mendocino, CA 95460, United States
My wife and I just finished our anniversary stay at Alegria; second year in a row. As we drove down Route 1 and through Anderson Valley on our way back to the airport, we were sad to be leaving and wished we had booked at least a few more days. We stayed in the Pacific Suite, a good size space on the second floor of the main house with a deck overlooking the beach. We look forward to returning next year, but for now, its back to our home in New Hampshire.Alegria is situated on a bluff above the beach, Big River Beach, at a place where the Big River converges with Mendocino Bay. The beach is part of the Mendocino Headlands State Park. We walked down to the beach every morning before breakfast. It was a perfect start to each day.Our wonderful hosts, the location close to town, easy access to the beach, the corner fireplace, our deck with a view of the beach through the eucalyptus tree, the pleasant breakfast room, the headlands, and the serenity contributed to a supremely comfortable experience for us.Alegria is not a luxury resort awash in activity. Instead, it offers a personal and uniquely calming environment that is just right for my wife and me.Thank you Elaine and Eric for a wonderful stay. See you next year!

Szechuan Asian Restaurant
47 E Mendocino Ave, Willits, CA 95490, United States
I had Szechuan string beans w/pork and veggie fried rice take home to Fort Bragg. I particularly like getting Asian food out because, unlike western restaurant food, I can’t make it at home. It’s a bonus if the restaurant is particularly good. This is my second time here. The first time I came with a vegetarian friend. I ordered all vegetarian dishes so we could share. Their vegetarian selection is broad and I didn’t feel like I was compromising at all. I can safely say their food is very good and equally important it is consistent. Todays take away the portions were really big, easily enough to for two full dinners.

Ippinn Udon & Tempura
1880 Mendocino Ave D, Santa Rosa, CA 95401, United States
I had been eyeing this place for months when I would pass it by on the bus. The location is quite ideal. Its in a little outlet area with other places to eat like Wingstop, Mombo's pizza, and Subway. There's even a barber shop and a college campus market. It's right across the street from the Santa Rosa Jr. College. It's definitely in a spot surrounded by life. My friend and I both enjoyed our meals very much. The menu was really easy to read as they have a large printed one on the front windows of their building. My friend had gotten the 1. The curry chicken udon and I got the 15. Beef Yaki Udon. It was so tasty! The only comment my friend had about the curry dish was to cook the carrots a little bit longer as they were crunchier than expected. The Beef Udon had a lot of veggies. Another note I had was more about the interior. Installing a large mirror at the end of the wall and above the last table I think would create an effect of making the place look larger. I wouldn't explain the service as a typical American restaurant where you sit down and they take your order. You get a tray and order at the register in the front and then you choose your table and sit down. Even when you are finished with your meal you get up and put it at the window for the dishwasher to take. There was a woman at the register I wish I got her name, but she was very nice and had a warm energy to her. I also like how the workers don't rush you out the door and actually let you take time with your meal. I had asked a friendly customer enjoying their meal for their opinion on this place and they had said they get something different every time they go there and it all tastes good. They even travel 30 minutes just to eat at this place. The parking lot can be busy at times, but there is still enough spaces for people hanging out there. It is handicapped accessible and kid friendly. I am an Asian food lover and this is now considered one of my favorite places to eat! It is a little pricey for only 2 people, but the quality wins on this one. If you're craving for Asian gourmet food with lots of quality, go eat there!——————————————————————————I disliked their teriyaki chicken donburi. The rice tasted rubbery and the chicken tasted like they warmed it up in the microwave.
