I’m a vegetarian and when building my own I asked if I could add vegetables in place of a meat protein and was told no.Their menu which listed cauliflower options was also incorrect as they had no cauliflower. The person helping was unhelpful and said I have a single option for rice and two sides.I’ve been to steak restaurants that were more vegetarian friendly than this place.

Omg this is the best restaurant in California ever the food is so good you will feel as if and angel has delicately blessed you with life, and don’t even complain about there’s no meat option after you try this place you’ll go vegetarian yourself. This place is absolutely amazing I mean the second I ate here even my life changed around I went from living in a apartment to living in Beverley hills by eating at this magical place your life will change around everything will become better even my blood pressure went down from the great services and the hosts were very kind upfront and unlike the rest of Santa Monica they actually know how to serve food trust me you NEED to eat at this place and become a daily customer cause it will be the best food you’ve ever had in your life I mean I became vegetarian after eating here

Easily my new favorite place to get a salad. This is the Chipotle of salads offering a variety of salad options already imagined and also the option to completely customize it yourself. The already imagined salads will run you about 11 bucks and the customizable option varies depending on your selections. The ingredients are organic and lists the farms and locations which they were purchased. The menu is seasonal but I typically get the Guacamole Greens which has organic mesclun (fancy term for mixed greens), tomatoes, red onion, tortilla chips, avocado, roasted chicken, fresh lime squeeze, lime cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette. I LOVE this salad, its zesty, doesnt have diary and packed full of flavor. The vinaigrette is super light and not spicy at all, in fact it could use a bit more jalapeño but its still delicious.Another added bonus is the staff. They hire a super diverse crowd which I really appreciate and of course everyone is super friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. Kudos on the hiring selection.

(1) Food: Full vegetarian restaurant (contains onions and garlic). Authentic Thai food with some creativity on the menu, no options on spiciness as its default t medium spicy (as I ordered my Green Curry).(2) Atmosphere: Mood setting of the place is relatively new, a little dime on the lighting which creates an relaxing fine dining experience.(3) Service: customer experience was average, no positive or negative impact on overall experience. I would return again if I were in town (Los Angeles) again.(Overall score 4.5 out of 5)

I tried sweet green for the first time in Boston and I recalled having the kale Caesar and was not impressed. I never had sweet green again after till years later — I've tried the Westwood location in LA twice now and it was way better than I remembered so perhaps it was a case of getting the wrong thing the first time. I got the harvest bowl but customized it — took out the cheese and almonds and asked for no dressing and added lemon squeeze, basil and cilantro, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and raw beets! It was REALLY good even without the dressing. They definitely had a lot of shredded kale in it and the bowl was super clean, they didn't overdo it with the grains / carbs, maybe I would've wished there was more wild rice in the bowl but overall the other toppings I was able to add was more than enough. The portion size was also perfect. Would highly recommend going to sweet green if you're looking for healthy options; because you can customize your meal and add/take out things as you like. The cheeses, tortilla chips, crispy Parmesan crisps and dressing are mainly what increases sodium and sugar levels in the meals so if you're health conscious You can always take those out and the bowls & salads are still good!!

I witnessed a concerning incident today at the Sweet Greens located on Montana Avenue. During my visit to purchase a salad, I observed a delivery person being treated in an exceptionally disrespectful and unprofessional manner by one of the staff members an ( African American ).The delivery person entered the restaurant and inquired about the status of an order. The staff member, responded dismissively, stating, NO, I do not know. When the delivery person asked if he could check on the orders status, the response was, No, I will not.Confused by this rude behavior, the delivery person questioned why he was being treated this way. As the exchange escalated, the staff member ultimately refused to process the order, claiming that the delivery persons perceived rudeness was the reason. From what i saw and witnesses the delivery person was not rude at all. When the delivery person asked to speak to the manager, the staff member declared himself to be the manager and began yelling at the delivery person. Despite the delivery persons protests and attempts to clarify, the so-called manager continued to refuse service, stating with a smirk that he didnt care about any reports the delivery person might make. The employee not only refused but also told the delivery person to get t... f... out in front of me. Both the delivery person and I were shocked by this behavior. The delivery person, stating he would report the incident, seemed to provoke the employee further, who then aggressively lunged at him. I was terrified by the potential for violence. As seen in the attached photos, another employee, a Mexican man, intervened to restrain the aggressive employee. The delivery person attempted to document the incident with a photo, prompting another aggressive reaction from the employee. For my safety and peace of mind, I left the store immediately. This incident is deeply troubling, particularly because delivery personnel often work long hours for minimal pay. To treat them with such blatant disrespect is unacceptable. As a business owner, I find this behavior abusive and demeaning, reflecting poorly on Sweet Greens as an establishment.I left without placing my order and will not be returning to this location. Such conduct from staff members, especially those in managerial positions, is indefensible and should be addressed promptly by the company. The public should be aware of the potential dangers they may face when entering this store. Customers should not have to worry about being attacked or mistreated while trying to retrieve their orders.Thank you

Excellent Vegetarian food with large quantities ...After a long walk on Santa Monica beach we were so hungry. This was the perfect vegetarian food we could find and enjoyed the authentic Indian taste and variety. Parking is easy as there is public parking in front of the restaurant.

Health focused restaurant in the Santa Monica Mall. I’ve been to the Scottsdale location as well, and I like the consistency of quality. Our office usually comes here whenever we have a new hire welcome lunch as they take reservations online and can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions (I.e vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc). It’s on par with Santa Monica prices - you can think of it as the restaurant version of Flower Child (which I believe is the same owner). We usually come here around noon on weekdays and while there are other people, we don’t have to wait for long. The servers are friendly and there’s restrooms in the back. For the food, my favorite thing are the edamame dumplings. Definitely get those as an appetizer - they come with cilantro and in a broth but it’s such a good flavor and nice and warm. The pizzas are good but most people usually get the bowls. You can add tofu or meats to bowls for an additional cost - the most popular one for us is the ancient grains but I’m partial to the teriyaki quinoa. I tried the grass fed burger this time around and while it looks smaller than your average burger, it’s super filling. It came with sweet potato hash on the side which alright, or you could also get a salad. The sparkling antioxidant tea was good but I probably wouldn’t get it again. There’s cocktails as well and they have all the calories displayed on the menu. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Ive never given a vegetarian restaurant a 2 star review before. I really thought Id like it. You probably will like it yourself, if, for your night out, you want a few thimble sized vegetable spheres served on a ceramic Möbius Strip.Honestly, I cant wait to read the musings on Yelp about this place to see what people like about their food. I must be a Philistine cause I dont get it. Is this the Thai version of Wolfgang Pucks Chinois just a mile to the south? This Asian fusion snack shop has great ambiance but the dinner plates dont even stand up to Thai Vegan restaurant on Main st.No. Thai Vegan on Main is perfection.May I editorialize for a moment? Oh, youd rather I didnt? Yknow what? Im Yelp ELITE four years running. Im going to say what I want, son! Look, Thai food is the the best food. Pad see Ew is TRILL. Thai food IS synonymous with spicy in my mind. No spice warning even appeared on their menu. Even after requesting spicy food with spicy condiments on the side they refused to bring it. Instead, a thimble of cucumber chunks in sweet vinegar found its way to the table. Remind me to bring the Sri Racha hot sauce in my purse next time Im in town. Thats what was missing.Attitude. Its the one word that sums this place up. Im not talking about the staff. Theyre incredibly professional and efficient. Its the menu that is off-putting for Thai junk food junkies like me. If you have a fancy, refined palet then flow right on into this shop. If you want Drunken Noodles with serraño chilis burning your mouth to the point you wonder if you just ate a porcupine, then move along down the yelp results list. You can find a different venue.Chow

One of the best Ethiopian places I have been to! The owner is a very creative lady and an inventor of amazing food. Her take on Ethiopian - American fusion is just unbelievable and takes an already delicious cuisine to another level. Every single item we ordered here was amazingly delicious. All of us were mindblown multiple times when she brought out the dishes! The veggie burger was the best vegetarian burger the 4 of us in our party have ever eaten! The owner invented the patty and the burger, and mentioned how she does not use fake meat patties because she does not like the taste of them. We were excited when we were ordering it hearing this, and were again mindblown after the first bite. Same can be said about the green smoothie and the various other items we ordered there.Overall a must visit restaurant if you are in the Santa Monica area and are up for an experience. You will not be disappointed.
