This is an Asian Mexican fusion restaurant that cannot be missed, especially for those who enjoy kimchi! This is a family owned and operated business. They started out in another location and built themselves a following for a good reason! You can view their menu on kimchichanga.com and order for pick up or delivery, but my husband enjoy the bright decor and eating at the restaurant. They have a variety of salads, tacos, burritos, rice bowls, and sandwiches. It’s really wonderful to see a place whose quality food is so original and creative, kind of like a specialty food truck without the wheels! My personal favorite is the Korean barbecue taco, but I’m definitely going to be trying other menu items!

Our first visit was today for lunch, we are so sad we're moving away because this place is a GEM! I don't know how we haven't tried Jade China in the last 5 years, but man are we sorry. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated so nicely, the staff was so friendly and sweet. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and so unexpected. We didn't expect to be waited on and actually served, it was such a pleasant surprise. The menu had loads of great options and the prices are so unbelievably fair and inexpensive. My husband had the Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice (I think his was $9) I had the luncheon special of Orange Chicken, Steamed Rice, Chow Mein and an Eggroll (I think mine was $8) everything came out piping hot and so fresh, my husband fries rice came in a separate pan and they even served it to him. Our lunch was a total of $19.95! What a bargain!! Everything tasted great and we would definitely return, we plan on it before our move! Thank you so much for your AMAZING service/friendliness/ and great lunch!

I religiously come here two times a week and the gentleman always have good customer service. Today I went to simply pick up my food and the lady on the register was just texting away… she knew I was there but she finished texting first and then asked me if I was ready… I told her I was there to pick up, and then she goes back to looking down at her phone and continues to text and then she logged in to the computer to ask for my name. All while she was texting. Not once did she look up after that, I sat down to wait while she continued to be on her phone. I feel like I was a burden to her walking into her busy time texting as if I interrupted her lol

Ive never had such a horrible experience with Waba. I work near the fontana Sierra lakes location and I go there about 3x per week I always have amazing experiences there. I have been to three different locations, all great service and food. But this location is sooooo awful. First of all, I called in to order at 5:37 PM. Girl said it would be 10min. I go in at 5:50pm and the girl rings me up and then hands over the order to the cook to start it. (I couldve sworn calling in an order meant they would start it, which is how things work everywhere else including the fontana location)I watch several other people get their orders. Even though I got there before them. Then I finally get to leave at 6.10pm. I get home at 6.15pm EVERYTHING IS BURNT. Three chicken bowls all taste like charcoal. One of the bowls wasnt supposed to have veggies and brown rice it came with veggies and white rice instead.... And my salmon bowl tastes like s**t. I gave it to my dogs and ate the rice. The one thing they got right.I cant go back cause I have somewhere I need to be at 6.30 but holy cow I will never be coming back here. So so disappointed. Take your people to Sierra lakes waba to learn how to do their jobs.

I have been to a few Waba Grill locations and always had good experiences. The visit to this location on La Sierra Ave in Riverside was not a good experience at all! The food was good, which is why I'm giving the 2 stars. However, the way this location operates leads me to question what is going on in the kitchen area! The first interaction we had was with the staff member pictured. We were looking at the menu trying to decide what to order, he was trying to rush me to make a decision for the 3 of us. One of the people in our party had never been, he was a senior so we were going over the options with him. It took about 5 mins, the restaurant was not busy, yet we were being pushed to hurry. When I did order, the employee would not let me order additional sauces! Yes, I knew there was a charge for additional sauce (been to Waba before!) yet the employee told me no, that the dish came with a sauce. Then I asked for brown rice and was again told no, the dish came with white rice. Ok?? We got our order and noticed there was only two sauces with our 3 dishes so I went back up and asked for a small cup so we could split our two sauces, the female employee who was working (not pictured) was about to hand me a cup when the guy who had served us interjected and said no, that we should just pour the sauce straight into our bowl! However, I think the worse thing that I saw was when this guy came out of the kitchen to clear a table after other guests left. He threw the remains of their food away in a trash can and then took their condiment cups back into the kitchen and placed them back in with the condiments they give out to customers!! Literally turned my stomach to think this guy was taking .50 cent condiment cups back into the kitchen to be reused…what else are they reusing at this location?!! Over all, I would not recommend or revisit this location. The particular staff member was rude but overall, I would highly question their hygiene tactics or reusing customer items in their kitchen.

This was my first time visiting WaBa so l decided to try the WaBa Plate. The plate consisted of tender, seasoned sliced chicken and steak on a bed of rice, with a side salad and some fruit. Plus some added avocado.Overall, the meal was quite tasty and a welcome change from my usual eating routine. But not really out of the mundane.Perhaps because it was near closing time when I arrived that the place seemed so lifeless and dull. The service could have been a bit better too. I also bought two bottles of Sobe and paid for them with my order but almost left without them. I was almost to the door before realizing that Id forgotten something. The drinks were still sitting on the counter. It would have been helpful if the girl who completed my transaction had reminded me that I was leaving without part of my order. This is the reason for only a four star rating.

I tried the salmon bowl and I loved it! Its so good I keep going back for another!! I like that they give you the option to add avacados and everytime the avacados are delicious and perfect. They even give tooooo much lol. Its great. A little more than I want to spend but worth it in the end. :) my husband enjoys the chicken bowl.... he is very picky and hasnt complained yet so... also I have had a bite of his and its also delicious lol. You cant go wrong with this place. Very clean and fast service. The salmon bowl takes a little longer just so you know. But I say its worth the wait.

I personally love Waba grill, unfortunately it smelt like there was a gas leak at this location. And I asked to speak with the manager bcuz I was feeling light headed.MANGEMENT WAS HORRIBLE. Alma, apparently she's a manager, gave me Bombastic side eye and told me in a Spanish mumbled under her breath “chinga tu madre, pendeja”.. after confronting her about how I was light headed. First of all, very very rude on how she treats customers, second of all I know Spanish too so like… it wasn't necessary to say that. And instead of offering me a cup of water or ask if I was okay. She went to go chit chat with other coworkers. By looks of it, all seem related bcuz they were out laughing and saying some offense remarks. That's not right. Y'all need better management… never in my life have I ever been treated this way. Hope y'all get that potential gas leak checked especially if ppl are dining there and you can smell the fumes as to why I was feeling light headed. Wont ever go to this location again after the rude customer service from the manager…
