I am Freshies where to begin with my review we walked into Freshies on a Saturday night after a full day of hitting the slopes and getting some sick lines when we got there there was no line but we got the last table in the house after we got our table they turned everyone else away because it was too full we wanted to eat something a little bit healthy but where we could also get fries and this place did have salads and fries and the fries had three kinds of Of root vegetables and then you get a side of mayo and put Charlotte in the mayo to get spicy mayo but let's talk about the ordering process before we get ahead of ourselves of one thing that we wanted was fries and it was a little confusing whether or not we could order fries or not because we didn't sit on the menu just as we were about to thinking there were no fries anymore we noticed on the table with another little venue that had all of the appetizer options this was slightly confusing a grade and the waitress also took a while to take our order maybe because the place was full but also I maybe didn't wink enough I tried winking and that didn't work but eventually we got our order No no let's talk about the Decour I would call that Hawaiian in the winter snow but if you look outside the window and squinted it was at the light it looks like you were in Hawaii however you were really in a kind of strip mall in south lake Tahoe so not Hawaii but it looked kind of like it could be Hawaii so the deck or was it was all right we got our salad and a plate of all he tuna with macaroni salad and the food was all right yeah but now it's not about the food I think the food was pretty good it definitely hit the spot in terms of what we wanted with the fries with the three routes that was goodAnd a chop salad was well shops maybe could've used some protein in it but that was our fault for not ordering it yes and in the matter of the beverage so the beverage was a coconut lime aid and it was pretty lame but it was good I think it was one of the most refreshing drinks I've had in recent it was like drinking or cooking up with lemonade of mine in it I felt like I was back in Hawaii Crampons mails de chef PCS triste heures complements upon the chef for all of his or her recipes three stars

This place is by far the most tasty and best Mexican food in Tahoe and Northern California that I’ve ever had ! We came from Tahoe City and it was totally worth the drive to South Lake Tahoe. The vegan and vegetarian menu is really authentic and delicious..This is a super special restaurant. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit here. We enjoyed the food when we visited Tahoe last year, and it was just as good this year.We were greeted by the same energetic and friendly waitress that helped us last time.The atmosphere is clean and inviting, cozy tables.We were super hungry after a day at the lake, so we ordered the dinner for two.First to arrive was the most delicious Won Ton soup! It was hot and tasty and packed full of wontons, shrimp, mushrooms, pork, and veg. Practically a meal in itself. The usual fried won tons, egg roll, fried shrimp were all good. The paper wrapped chicken tasted amazing. We really tried to pace ourselves so we would have room for our entrees!I had the Mu Shi pork, which I loved. Always my favorite at Chinese places, and this didnt disappoint. My husband got the Scallops in Oyster sauce. Presented on a bed of broccoli with carrots and snow peas and bell peppers. It tasted fine, but afterwards he thinks maybe he should have ordered the Szechuan or Kung Pao Scallops for a spicier flavor.As it turned out, there was so much food we took so much with us, we had enough for dinner the next night as well (gotta love hotel rooms with in-room fridge and microwave!), so great value for what we paid.We will definitely make it a point to eat here again next time we are in Tahoe!

This is for Kristi - ManagerLet me start by saying I went visit this place back in April 28 looking for a place to have dinner after my wedding on June 26. Yes 12 days from now! At that time the employee gave us a piece of paper ripped out of a notebook ? to write down whatever information we can provide so Kristi can call us back.She called that same night and provided the following information:Yes, date is available, due to the amount of people 25-30 we don't have space inside but the outdoor patio is available (which I LOVE it) also the employee point it out the cafe next door will be close so we can use the space without any problem.Cake will have to arrive close to the time because we don't have space (understandable) she suggested to select at least 10 items from the menu so we don't have our guests ordering all over the place. PERFECT!We sent the email with the menu selections 2 weeks ago and apparently she was calling the Maid of Honor and she was out of state, but can't email her responses until TODAY!I got a call from my Maid of Honor saying that Krisi brought up all this excuses about “the weather changing if we had a back up plan, that we never confirmed, the menu should be ONLY 3 items, also mentioned a non refundable deposit, gratuities, the small kitchen etc...”Let me tell you something WE do have the $$$, we had the fancy glasses and I don't mind paying for the champagne, I wanted the outdoor because my wedding ceremony is at Emerald Bay = Outdoor.We wanted something informal because our guest are informal and we like for everyone to be comfortable & welcome.If you had all this requirements for your business reservations then you should have email us that information in a CONTRACT back in April, 2 months ago! Your employees needed to be more trained before offering ANYTHING because if the cafe next door would happened to be open and they had an issue with us having our wedding guests there then WHO would be responsible? If you'll like to do business then email everything at the time NOT 12 days before come up with a bunch of non sense excuses to make the bride & groom start running all over at distance because we live in Las Vegas and traveling out there for the wedding.Thank you but NOT it seems like our humble 30 wedding guest list is not enough to full-fill your business at this time! I LOVE taco bell. But for how much this location gets my order wrong, I have no words. Today is a great example. Went in, there were only 2 other people in there and one was already eating his food, so that leaves one ahead of me. She got her food and left. Leaving just my order to be made. I got the dipping taco, 3 crunchy taco combo, and chips and cheese. I look in my bag and the whole thing of chips is missing and when I tell them they give me my chips. Now that Im home eating my food, I realized that they gave me the wrong sauces that I dont want and cant enjoy my dipping taco because I have nothing to dip it into. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. These people cant get the simplest orders correct.

Taco Bells are good when you're are in a hurry and need some fattening food to keep you going. Their food are good for replenishing calories after a long day hike.We stop by this place and the cashier was very friendly but the restaurant policies didn't meet our expectations and we ended up leaving to the supermarket next door in the same plaza.We were informed that their restrooms are closed due to the pandemic and we could use the hand sanitizer station. However, after a whole day of exploring the outdoors, I would rather be hygienic and wash my hands properly before eating.3 stars for having a Taco Bell in South Lake Tahoe but less two stars for lack of restrooms and sinks for customers.

Traveling full-time in my RV across USA I always by my meat from local family run butcher shops. I know itll cost a little more but, its definitely worth it. While here I purchased dryrub Ribeyes, hamburger patties, Tri-Tip, porkchops, chicken and swordfish. I asked for tips on best way to prepare and cook each of these items and got some really good tips from 2 gentlemen working behind the counter. ?All team members I interacted with were very friendly and professional. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Next time Im in Tahoe area I will make Overland Meat & Seafood a priority stop.

Great Breakfast in the Tahoe area. Service is fantastic, the food is the best I had in the Tahoe area. Portions are larger than normal.Arrival approximately 9am on a Sunday. This is coronavirus time so masks were required. Everyone was following the rules including staff. Plenty of people sitting in the outdoor seating area spaced a good distance apart.Upon arrival we were greeted outdoors by a bubbly employee at a podium who asked for party size and name. After giving us an estimated wait time we were seated indoors.The service here is fantastic all the waitresses were happy, friendly. I was not a local but the moment I stepped inside I felt welcomed.We were informed of the specials and more importantly mimosas and ordered a couple.Mimosas were great, coffee was even better.The only knock I could give was the waitresses did not introduce themselves by name so I could give them props here, but either way all of the ladies on the wait staff were attentive and checked on each table whenever they could.Food was as great as the service. Chilaquiles were phenomenal the red sauce was a little hot but flavorful, the eggs went perfectly with the tortillas, the beans full of flavor and the sour cream and avocado helped cool down the spice.Eggs benedict the hollandaise was delicious eggs cooked perfectly was a solid dish.Will definitely be coming back whenever im in the South Tahoe area. That Coconut French Toast was calling my name.

What are your expectations on a Bagel Shop? For me, a good Bagel Shop should have a variety of freshly backed bagels displayed in baskets behind the counter where you buy them by the 1/2 or bakers dozen. You have the option to order sandwiches and generally have good coffee, and you have a selection of house made cream cheese spreads to choose from.Dragonfly Bagel Co. Really isn't a Bagel Shop, it's a Sandwich and Coffee shop the happens to sell bagels as a side gig.For example they have a limited selection of bagel flavors and an extremely limited number of each flavor to choose from. We were there around 9:00am with the goal to purchase a dozen bagels to bring home to family. The friendly guy behind the counter informed us we could only have a 1/2 dozen because it would take too much of his limited stock.Although I'm not sure, I don't think the bagels were made in-house, they were the west coast stereotypical rolls with toppings added to them. Generally on par with what California considers to be a bagel. Their sandwiches were decent the place was nice and the employees were very friendly.I would recommend Dragonfly if you are interested in a breakfast sandwich on a flavored roll. Don't make our mistake and confuse Dragonfly with a typical bagel store that sends people out the door with large bags of freshly cooked bagels with a few containers of fresh cream cheese. It's just not that kind of place.
